At 7:40 you better take the amulet with archmage charm instead of drawing two. She had cards for ages, and the game shows it would have prevented the titan the next turn.
not anymore really. you'll find smaller shops streaming fnm level stuff, but Nerd Rage Gaming is about the only ones left streaming live events. i believe this is recording onsite then commentary is added post event
You can find the streams at Anzidmtg's twitch channel. He also streams mtgo there I believe as well, but he has a setup he takes to events w/o official coverage and does this for the community
@@williamrussell5521 I mean yeah but that isn't pertinent to the convo because it didn't and misplays happen all the time it just sucks for her that we all got to see it happen
@@maxsernoffsky5751 well I guess it isn’t. Obviously hindsight is 20/20, sucks to see it happen. She was obviously doing something very right for the majority of the day making it that far. It’s easy to make mistakes late into a tournament. Much more pressure and your brain is fried especially when playing a reactive deck.
I feel like the only people who say stuff like this don’t actually play competitive magic. This is super common. Like more than half of players shuffle their hand like this and it’s just something to do while sitting their thinking/waiting for your opponent to play their turn. What’s the big deal?
Well played by the amulet player. Navigated it really well in a tough matchup. Obviously the UW player was new to the game which swings the matchup in favour of the amulet player.
