@@QMTG that opposition agent was brutal, but I can't be too upset since I run it in another deck. thats why I keep back ups for indestructible and hexproof in the deck

i know this is a long time ago but if you end the turn with out the triggers on the stack those triggers still go off, the trick with obeka is that you exile the end of turn triggers on the stack.

Great video, but it seems to me like the topdown camera is oriented wrong. You see Esmond doing things with his board on the bottom right, then it switches cameras to a side view and shows him on the upper left. Makes it harder to keep track of who's doing what.

Yeah, we recently changed the orientation so it is actually flipped as compared to the previous videos

Nice Vid guys! I think some of the obeka ending the turn mechanics got misplayed in this game though, when you activate her in the middle of the turn, you go to the next end step so any triggers do still happen, example: tapping obeka to counter the commit and extra turn spell puts her back into the command zone because you went to the next end step, causing the hellkite courser to trigger. Its a hard deck and I only thought about this because i have the deck lol

You're kind of right! Obeka's ability ends the turn and goes directly to cleanup step, meaning that I miss the "beginning of end step". So the trigger does not get exiled, and it should have triggered at the beginning of the next players turns end step. Thanks for pointing it out!

Because Cauldron Dance says play during combat, wouldn't any creatures brought on the field during combat couldn't attack as they need to be on the field before combat to attack?

You can play it during combat, but before attackers are declared

@@jdust4 They don't have to be around during my first main phase; as long as attackers have not yet been declared, any creatures that come in during combat can still be subsequently declared as an attacker (assuming they have haste) during the "declare attacks" step of combat
