BW is better then BG because it wallows you to path and thoughtseize /inquisition without taking damage like blackleaves cliff does to help bolt and thoughtseize in jund

Cataclysmic Gearhulk is NOT Tragic Arrogance, with Tragic Arrogance you choose the targets while the gearhulk gives your opponent a choice on what to sac.

the thing people dont realize is that cataclysmic gearhulk is a cataclysm on a stick, thats why its name is what it is, it has cataclysm attached to it

I really like the idea of that little guy. He's a fixed sad robot, but happy, and costs less mana. The only problem is that he doesn't fetch a land, and 2 life isn't that great. After all, fetching a shock land takes 3 life.

I agree with you, its an amazing walker for standard, but what current decks want it in modern? their is none that I can think of besides decks that ran a side board Chandra but that doesn't even occur that often. Don't get me wrong she is a great walker but see is not good enough to build a deck around and doesn't fit in any current deck. at least that's my two cents.

I've been seriously wondering this myself. And it's tearing me apart because I really love Chandra and I want a playset of her but can't figure if I should buy her now or later. I don't think she fits with the current modern decks but it doesn't mean some new brew won't shoot her at the top...

I have wanted to build a dredge deck ever since i got the Golgari duel deck but my budget has stopped me. I finally a couple of weeks ago managed to get all the pieces together for a dredge deck and now it seems its going to go mad. Fantastic.

im an old mtg player just getting back into the game, what is the kaladesh master pieces series all about. i noticed a bunch of cards in it that i use to play with. my friend said they wont be standard legal. i also seen that preordering pricees are higher than even the originals. Is this a booster box ill want to purchase? are packs going to be super expensive?

I too am excited about the new fast lands, but I feel that you neglected to talk about Botanical Sanctum. I feel that just as Spirebluff Canal is an auto include into Delver decks, so too is Botanical Sanctum an auto include into Infect lists. The land seems perfect for the deck. Am I mistaken in that regard?

I'm making a vampire deck which is similar to Rally Vampire but unfortunately hard to find cards and even if I find they are expensive. Which strong and useful vampire cards should I use and additionally which booster pack would be useful for me to find nice cards?

If you're looking for specific cards, don't buy packs. Just get the cards, always cheaper.

In casual play, I'm excited for the potential of Torrential Gearhulk. I could Flash a creature onto the battlefield, then flash in Torrential Gearhulk targeting Flash so that I could Flash in something else. For instance, a second Gearhulk. I could also run Past in Flames to give Flash flashback.

Holy.... I need me some Reunions and the 1 blue counterspells for my Emrakuul/Griselbrand vengeance deck. Speaking of which, is my deck sort of viable these days? I have'nt played for a significant period of time. The deck wins by sneaking Grisel or Emrakuul into play and then draw a ton of card and repeatedly cast fury of the horde. And thank you for not filling the list with overly obvious cards such as overpowered planeswalkers

Torrential Gearhulk I think will see play in slower based control decks like Jeskai and Esper. Grixis will rarely approach 6 mana. Plus, unlike snappy, you don't have to pay for it's mana cost so if you mill an 8 power instant, watch out.
