Congratulations on the Library! I completely agree this is the power 10 card. My favorite card from my favorite set. Enjoy it! Nice to see your face 😊 Buylisting the other one will go a long way towards your next target (timetwister?) Yoda wishes he could get a Library, but shipping to Dagobah is too pricey 😅

I often see people talking about vintage not knowning if younger generations will ever end up being interested in those vintage cards online. I finally bought my first big card at the start of the year I got a clean looking slightly played Library of Alexandria for my collection at the age of 23. I will probably end up putting it in a vintage cube I will build with real cards over time but honestly I have to admit I am sad that I cannot play this card in my commander decks since it is not legal. I don't see why it's banned in commander, it's not that good in that format cause of multiplayer even tho it's insane in 1v1. Arabian Nights is my favorite Magic set. Such an iconic set. Congratulation on the aquisition !

hey legardien44! thanks so much for the kind comment and i am glad you cab relate to me being enthousiastic about the LOA 😁👊🏻. yeah, there is a big discussion going on about the generational handover and if the younger players are into the old cards. i met a lot who actually are. they know the classics and they consider then iconic. there are enough that do not care, sure, but you can say that about older players as well. it’s good to hear you are really into it and you actually got one! awesome 👊🏻😱❤️. and just put it in your kitchentable commander deck! 😜

23 here too and appreciating the old stuff. New magic is really cool but the feel of the old cards I just cant let go. There is just an allure to cards like LOA, Mishra's workshop, and Alpha cards.

I picked up a nice looking, moderately played unlimited Chaos Orb (I play with it so it's a great copy for that). Good centering but with some wear. I'm happy to have it but theres definitely a nagging thought in the back of my mind that I want a nicer copy. Beautiful library! Definitely on my to get list. Congrats!

@@NerdAndProudOfIt probably the revised edition of Volcanic Island as that one fits my budget. I played a red black commander game last week using Mogis as a commander. It was nasty lol. I almost caused a dispute between two guys because the board was locked down. I felt bad playing it I had no idea that would happen. I was relieved to hear the boys want to play this Sunday as I thought this would cause a rift but things are fine now. One of the guys misinterpreted the other and there was a disagreement. I had a lot of “when a creature dies” triggers it was nuts lol. Probably will play mono artifact commander deck this weekend I have 9 different decks.

@@rylar717an UNL one is nice too! 😜. but get a revised one, maybe a nice LP one for a fair price? i’m sure you won’t regret it! oh, man, yeah, these situations happen! i had that with a friend of mine that got up and left and would not explain to me what happened. it’s all good now, but i think he got frustrated during a commander match. he still plays the german d&d with me, but has not joined an mtg session since. important thing is to talk about these things! awesome you next session is already planned! 👊🏻❤️

Yea I feel that. I wanna upgrade my workshop to a nicer one at some time in the future. Keep up the videos Jürgen! Its not always talking about what your buying, but share your memories with the cards. I love hearing people talking abiut how they used to play with their antiquities cards or revised cards. Would rather see this than MH3 in my opinion. Yoda would too.

I never had any power 9 but i did buy a LoA in the mid 90s and it really took my deck to the next level. Who would have thought that card draw was so good in mtg?

hoi joost! thanks a lot for the kind comment! and yes, technically arabian nights did only have different uncommon versions. but the library as well ali, guardian beast and the old man for example have the lowest printrun, so one might consider them rare 😁👊🏻

It certainly has the capabilities of a rare, but are you absolutely sure? On gatherer as well as on cardmarket it's listed as uncommon, while erhnam djinn and old man for example are listed as rare.
