My heart breaks for Priscilla, I grew up in a strict household so I could only imagine what's going on in her mind and not being able to say what she is thinking or feeling without fear.

Whenever I watch this ,I tear up because I could have been in the same situation around the age of 15 but luckily did not. I changed my life realizing i needed God than a man.

I related to Sammy's story because I'm also a teen mom who gave birth to a baby boy that wasnt breathing and he's turning 1 year in May.. Doing my first year in Varsity this year and a single mom.. A baby won't stop u from wearing that graduation gown, God saw that u strong enough to give u a beautiful creation... From South Africa

What happened to to Sammy happen to me also, but the different in it is that im an adult, as soon as I got pregnant he started acting strange, he lied to his parents that he's not responsible for the pregnant, I see no one except my mom and my siblings 😭😭😭😭😭, I give thanks to God that my baby boy is now 5 years old, I took care of my baby since pregnancy up till now.

Pricilia's aunt/big momma is the MVP...faced with taking responsibility of Precilia and the society which represents a lot of mothers and young girls who fall pregnant and instead of making sure they get thru this safely, they rather worry about the shame and mockery of their community. A relative of mine, young, beautiful girl died at her 1st year in UNI because she was took some abortion pills becaise she was scared of bringing shame to her family. Is shame more than the life of my beautiful cousin who would have had future potentials had she not been killed taking abortion pills? A lot of these kids that "brought" shame to you, today, have become leaders of society. Teach young girls swx education

Am watching this from Kenya but I realize that sex education is not only lacking here but in Africa as whole. It's sad how most of us are learning so much through the internet yet we have parents who passed through that sexual awareness age. I won't fully blame parents though because they are learning on how much technology has evolved in a rapid state in the sense that whatever the kids have learnt is so hard to be given an overhaul. Let not this babies in this feature and any other baby born be a victim of stigmatization by society of the mistakes of the moms. Those babies are not a mistake but they are just any other kid like you and me who will be grownups someday.

These three are very lucky to have such supportive family members. Pregnancy shouldn’t be the end of the world for a girl child. She should be able to go to school till close to her due date if she wants to. I hope Nigerian parents would put more efforts into enlightening their kids, both male and female, about sex so they are well informed and not make mistakes. I had to learn about my body and sex in general by doing extensive online research after I left home at 19. Thank God I didn’t fall victim of sexual ignorance before then, I would say it was a bit of luck. I hope to be different with my kids. While I wouldn’t want them to be sexually active before they get married, that won’t stop me from educating them on their body and sexual drive. We shouldn’t have to wait for our girls to get pregnant out of ignorance, neither should we wait for our boys to impregnate someone else’s daughter.

Omg this is so touching. Sex education is ultimate. Without it mistakes like this will occur. I love the support that's coming from the older women. Mistakes are not supposed to bring us down instead they teach us to take corrections and move on.

I don't think I can watch till the end. Even for a grown up lady, been pregnant and the guy running away or been absent is painful. Then going through CSECTION, these brought back my experience which I can't stop thinking of every day. Being alone, Feeling alone, throughout the pregnancy and even in the labour room, and after having the child, just doing it alone , all alone, its painful. But life goes on, do not regret. All I can say is as a lady No matter what you are going through right now, be patient, do not be depressed, when you have your kid that will be your joy, love and happiness. Don't worry everything will be fine. And most especially sex education is important, educate them from the age of 10 at least. Make your kids your pals. Do not let your kids be afraid to tell you anything especially female kids, so that some bastard guy, or stupid girl wont advise them wrongly.

Brought me to tears and reaffirmed my decision to study a masters in public health. I would build a career as a health communications specialist and ensure that more youths know about contraception; no one would be left out.

Stories like these makes me so sad. I could really understand the frustration of the family. It would be so painful if you saw that someone with such a bright future , just end up like this. I cannot imagine the frustration especially in the case where they do not have so much .Nevertheless, children are children no matter how mature they think they are. They make mistakes and fall. Sometimes, it's up to us to pick them up as they learn life lessons and help them reach their maximum potential. Teenage pregnancy is not the end of the world.

My parents would’ve disown me but I’m glad they getting all the support & love in their pregnancy they need with or without the dads around.

All the young mums are heros in every form, however, Elizabeth's personality resonates deeply with me. She comes off as very intelligent, brave and ready to take on the world and with the right guidance and support, she would soar very high.

Like the principal said, people do make mistakes. But don’t put her in isolation! But when you’re uneducated and never been taught, you do what you feel is best. I think Elizabeth case gives me more concern, because she sees shedrack like a husband which he is not, and she stays in a rural area also. Living with shedrack family is another big problem for her also, she cant take her decisions. I have pity for them all. I wept not because i was too emotional but because i dont have money to give to especially elizabeth so that they can rent a house where she will be happy

Thanks to MTV Shuga for shedding light on a rather common story amongst African cultures. It was surprising for me when i recently learnt that Nigeria has one of the highest rates of maternal mortality deaths in Sub-Saharan Africa and such statistics stem from young girls with lack of support from their families which in turn creates financial problems and lack of a skilled health professional during labour. It would also be nice if you guys provide details on how we can support this young girls financially or in any way.

She is facing alot and also holding back in expressing how she feels. Priscilla's Aunty is such an amazing person . Despite all odds she stood by her irrespective of what anybody has to say.
