@@gopnikolai7483 If you're hit in a vital area like the head, yes, it can kill you. But he aimed at his midsection where a blank won't cause severe or hardly any damage. The shooting during Rust has everyone thinking they know a damned thing
@@thirdgen377 My friend, a stuntman, was almost killed by underestimating blanks. He pointed it at himself and blew a hole in his abdomen and almost bled out. Fug off.
I suspect the casino in which it happened would actually have some video, I would like to see that video. Casinos have had camera surveillance for a very long time .
I used my morning banana a few weeks ago. Some total-crack-heads in their busted ass car were acting all crazy in traffic. I happened to be next to them at the next red light. They kept saying stuff to me, so I pointed a banana at them and said, "BANG BANG BANG, it's that easy for some of us." They seemed to understand that.
Yea, there were a lot of times ali would make a real ass if himself. We would run his mouth constantly and the say "I want to be remembered for my love" the only love he had was for himself.
When you truly think someone is trying to shoot you, you find this speed from within you never knew you had lmao. Out of there fuck all of that hahaha.
@@user-gi3ep8tk5eTo serve a bullshit cause. Can't blame him. I'm not gonna go die because lying, cheating politicians who only care about money can't actually talk things out and instead go send pawns to do their bidding.
Liston came up as hard as they come. He grew up in a sharecroppers family in 1930s Arkansas, had visible scars on his body from the beatings his father gave him, he stripped his brothers pecan tree and sold them to buy a bus ticket to live with his mother at age 14, got convicted for armed robbery after dropping out of school, and only started boxing when he was around 20 years old. Guy was tough as nails.
I've watched a lot Ali's documentaries and movies about him. I don't remember seeing this! I knew Ali hounded Sonny relentlessly! But didn't know this.
Anybody ever think to themselves why would Sonny Liston be carrying a gun full of blanks? This is pre-planned entertainment. Not to mention the multiple cameras ready to go.
1. Ali was tormenting him for multiple days so sonny could have easily just bought the fake gun on the 3rd day 2. Ali and sonny, were both superstars they always have cameras pointed at them.. maybe your right though, either way who cares its entertaining, they did their jobs
I mean give me the fact that it was blanks that was really liked way smarter because you got somebody barking in your ear on a on a megaphone and it's just not stopping and I thought it was actually pretty damn awesome that he came up with that. The look on his face when he showed that it was blanks lol. Thats a M.F.ING MIC DROP MOMENT
To that last part that joe said. Sonny was born in very rural country with by some accounts over 22 siblings and half siblings. His dad would beat him so severely that it made him run away from home on what little savings he could scrounge together. He then got into even deeper issues as he got tied in with the mafia and worked as their muscle for collecting debts. He was fighting police on the streets beating them with their own clubs, with the “yellow shirt bandit” nickname he earned thanks to his clothing. Once he finally was caught and locked up, all he could tell his sister was that for the first time in his life he could have 3 square meals. This was truly a man who received some of the worst the world could offer but scowled back in the face of it all and through some stroke of hard work and luck, made it on top. It pains me that he never received the love he clearly needed. In the end dying like a dog through what some speculate was a mafia induced assassination. He’ll always be my favorite boxer
@@kimborampageThis scene is from a movie. Sonny Liston was real person that lived the life described above, and he did shoot at Ali with blanks in a casino, but, as this happened in the early 60s, no one was around to record it. Sonny apparently had trouble collecting himself and laughed for hours. I have a tattoo of the logo on one of Sonny's robes.
Sonny Liston was hard as diamond nails. The man grew up incredible hard, and when the world refused to see him as anything other than a criminal and bad guy, he embraced the role.
Ali ran to the restroom 🚻. LoL 😂😆 🥊I love boxing . I grew up watching boxing, Chavez, Tyson, Mayweather, Golden boy, Mosley, Hopkins, Roy Jr. , Lewis , Holyfield , Whitaker, Taylor, macho Camacho, Morales+Marquez, pacman, Vargas, & every good fighter, especially butter Bean 🧈🫘 ❤.
Everyone does realize this scene is from the 1977 Movie "The Greatest". The story of Ali's life. The actor playing Sonny Liston is Roger Mosely of Magnum P.I. There's No video of the ACTUAL incident.
