ThuleBringYourLife I hope that those like myself who have purchased the cross and are concerned with the lack of air flow are able to receive a recall service for Thule to change out the side panels and replace them with mesh with a removable plastic cover....if it's ever offered. In central Alberta we had a massive heat wave (35+ degrees C) this last week and we went to our local river. Within a few hours it began to sprinkle so we had to put on the rain cover. On the ride home our boy got fussy so we stopped and it was a hot house in the cab. He was soaked in sweat. If it's hot outside and you are using the rain cover, it's no better than leaving your child in a vehicle in the scorching sun in my opinion. There NEEDs to be removable plastic panels so at least there could be a cross breeze as you're riding along. I cannot stress this enough.

Hi Shannon, thank you for your feedback. We have done extensive testing on the CO2 levels in the carriers and due to the fact that all models have ventilation at the rear where the child's head rests there is no lack of air flow. As stated earlier, we are exploring further options for more comfort. Thank you.

ThuleBringYourLife I can't say I was overly concerned about the carbon dioxide but the temperature can get unbelievably hot. I really enjoy the cross, but I would have enjoyed the features of the Sport. I'm already paying over $1,000 for a stroller so why not pay a little more for the stroller that has everything. It's essentially the same as the cross structurally with added features like a disc break and removable plastic side panels. If the sport was offered in Canada, I'd buy it without hesitation. However the top of the line model in Canada is the cross. So to ensure customer satisfaction please either offer the sport in Canada or offer a model recall to alter the plastic panels so they are capable of being removed.

It is amazing that Thule could make the Chariot Cougar worse when they reworked it. New is not always better...

When will the 2019 models be available in the united states? I saw some online stores the new 2019 models are available in Europe but not in the US. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated

Will there ever be the option to add a window removal kit? The side windows should be able to be removed for adequate air flow when rain shield used.

Hi Shannon, thank you for your comment! We have performed multiple tests and there is no lack of air for the child when the rain cover is installed. There is a large ventilated opening in the rear right behind the child's head.
