Please unban. I made a mistake by sending that image of a +18 nature and I admit it, it was not my intention at all, I just wanted to share my timeline that I sent after deleting the happy image. Furthermore, that image is not CP, the actress in the image is over 20 years old and the image was sent to me on WSP in one of the groups I am in. I apologize for the issue, it was never my intention to send that type of content, it was a mistake on my part for not being attentive to which of the 2 images I was sending from my cell phone. I hope you can read me and unban me, I really like your server and its topic, I like to research timelines and share and see more opinions and points of view on different movies. Thank you for your time.
@@Mr_Wayne2012 I heard about the incident from the admins. Ultimately it's up to them. Sending an image like that (even if it isn't CP) is a definite issue. Have you reached out to any of the admins to see if they will let you back in?
2:32 I almost exclusively watch your content because you don’t cover all the baseless rumors. Honestly, you make great content and are extremely knowledgeable on the material and I fully expect lots of future growth for your channel that will come naturally without needing to lean into the shock content or baseless claims.
That's so great to hear...I really don't think chasing after rumors is the way to go. I much prefer focusing on publicly released info from the studios...to me, that's more interesting. Thanks for that feedback...really appreciate it!
Are they baseless when they turn out to be true? Because of the "baseless rumors" i knew this was the cast since last year. Kirby was the one first cast back in the summer right before the strike and wveryone else followed suit. Madame web and the marvels? Knew the plots cause of the "baseless rumors" and they were right
@@serenityq26 That's nice but nothing at the time was confirmed so you along with everyone else online were just speculating. I really don't care about speculation as much as I care about what is confirmed and canon.
Yeah, I feel the same...I'm more interested in confirmed canon rather than speculation. I do think the rumors are sometimes interesting to follow, but I don't want to devote time on the channel to them, so I'm glad you shared your thoughts on it as well.
@@AbitofEverything4U I don't know if you've ever heard of the video game “Elite: Dangerous” but it is a space sim with a very detailed and intricate lore and one thing I've learned as a fan is that you can very easily become overobsessed and hyperfixated on a minor detail that may SEEM important at the time, but is a pretty minor detail as a whole. Speculation is great for creating discussion and interacting with the community, but it's important to focus on what is real so as to not be mislead by false rumors and misinformation. I'm about to watch the most recent madame web video :D
Considering how many RU-vidrs post rumors as news or post videos repeating things that have already been revealed (or rumored) it's refreshing to see someone only posting about confirmed things and theories stemming from confirmed things. As for casting, the things that make one actor better fit for a given role than another actor are usually too subtle for me to catch. As long as the story and implementation are good, they could cast whoever they want, imo. I seem to be in the minority there, though. But it's precisely because I wasn't paying attention to the casting that my initial thought upon seeing your video title was, "Did they cast someone from a previous FF4 film for the new one, but the rest of the team is completely new?" That would've been interesting! It would make perfect sense for the movie to take place in its own universe, if not be in the Void from the start. That would be an odd choice, though, particularly if the Galactus rumors are true (I hope not, Galactus is the kind of villain you build up to, not a starter villain).
Excellent point about the rumors. I agree, I like to stick to confirmed things rather than every random thought that a scooper throws out. It's just so hard to keep up with all of that, imo. And yeah, I like the idea of the movie taking place in its own universe. Will be interesting to see what they do with Galactus. If they do include him, I hope they do him justice.
I always felt a reboot of FF would be ideal if set prior to the current Timelines and how we have seen them thus far. I never felt doing a space mission and getting powers would work given technology today. But as for back in the 60s? Now we can get some range. This is something I’m excited for and folx should allow this to breathe and see what’s in store
My only problem with it is that how will we see them in the modern day MCU, even if Reed is at LEAST 30 he would be 90! They could do something at the end where they get shot forward in time, but I think that would be kind of a cop out
@@augustmyers339 they could get stuck in the quantum realm, acting as a temporary negative zone until the MCU introduces a real one. It could also hype up Kang. I don’t know how that would fit with the current Galactus rumours, but we’ll have to see.
@@augustmyers339 there is so much that can happen in terms of being snatched out of time or out of their realities and universes. Also how do we know this is the reed we will see in the end near secret wars. We may also see something with reed and the Bridge or negative zone. Pruning could also come into play as I don’t believe ppl age after being pruned.
How exciting! Aside from the Guardians, the F4 have always been my favorite Marvel team. Having this and Superman within 2 weeks of each other is going to be so crazy! Cant wait for the films and im sure they're gonna make for some great vids on the channel too!
The cast is great, but apart from Pascal. Pedro is a great actor, a charismatic person. But he's old, how will Pedro play this character for give or take 10 years?
I will be interested to see what they do with Pedro in the role. I have utmost confidence the four of them will play off each other really well, but I definitely wouldn't have predicted this cast.
OMG! The first trailer is totally gonna have All You Need is Love as its song to highlight the family theme "Nothing you can do, but you can learn how to be you in time" feels like it's the perfect lyric for a potential time travel story
I do really like the idea of the multiverse saga ACTUALLY being a saga of all these multiverse characters funneling into battle world, instead of 616 just hoping around for a sec then inevitably landing battle world
Personally, I love the idea of it being set in the 60s. Not only does it allow that line from MOM full circle, and it fits with the family values 60s feel and aesthetic of the Valentines Day....thing, but also, the 60s fit the Fantastic Four so well. Hell, their first appearance was in the 60s (or at least, I believe), this helps. Now, as for it being set in another universe. Well, there are rumors that claimed that it will be set in another universe where the F4 are the only heroes with no Avengers, despite also being set in the 60s on top of that. Which, does explain rumors that Jake Gyllenhaal was in talks to play Reed before Pedro Pascal was brought on (which I guess means they seriously considered rewriting Mysterio to be a 616 Reed Variant? Which, glad that didn't happen because I don't like that idea at all) and I don't really like the idea of the F4 being set in another universe, feels very cheap too me. I prefer they just do what they've always done and have it be set in 616 and explain away why they haven't been mentioned yet by this point. Also, love Pedro playing Reed in my opinion, I actually think he fits the role well, same with everyone else in the casts. Hope they get Trey Parker or Tom Kenny to play Herbie.
Great feedback...I agree, I love it being in the 60's. As for being in another universe, I'd be down for that, but I also understand the risks of doing that. Whatever they decide, I'm hoping it's an awesome movie. Really looking forward to it!
The Fantastic Four in real life were a soul vocal group from Detroid and formed in 1965. Their song "The Whole World Is a Stage," was their only big hit single, peaking at number 6 on the US Billboard R&B chart in 1967. That’s the band Doctor Strange was referring to in MoM, not the superhero group. So that means no other person in 616 has knowledge of the FF, that means 2 things: 1) The movie could be set in the 60s on an alternate universe to the MCU and their joining to the actual MCU is multiversal. 2) The movie could be set in the 60s in the actual MCU, but “something” in the story made or will make (in the movie) that everyone forgot about the team, (Pretty much like they did with Sentry in the comics) with their joining being time traversal.
Excellent feedback! Would be very cool if they make a direct reference to the Fantastic Four's hit in '67 during the movie. And I personally like your option #1 better, but I'm down for whatever they give us in the movie. Can't wait!
Love to see a new vid on my feed, also I do think you should not bother with rumors and leaks as most channels will just spam upload theories and stuff on that anyways and plus it would be a hassle to keep updating and being like "Okay so its not actually this guy its THIS guy" numerous times like with how we had like 8 possible Reeds lol. I honestly see this channel as a very reliable source and I love how in depth it you go into all these videos so do as you like I just hope you have a reliable source for casting stuff xD Last thing, I do feel they will have the F4 arrive from an alternate timeline rather than a universe so that no incursions would occur with them being in the MCU, 60s alternate timeline, something goes wrong, they arrive in the future in a world that doesnt know them.
Great feedback...yeah, I'd really rather not do casting vids as it's all just rumors and I'd rather focus on deeper dives on stuff that is actually happening rather than something a scooper said. So I really appreciate that feedback! And you have a good suggestion for the F4 coming from an alternate timeline. I'd for sure be down with that if they went that direction!
Well I know at least in my case I would prefer alternate timeline that way there isnt a plothole for how they can exist there without issue, anyways once again appreciate you replying to my comment as I do like to spew my takes sometimes, I am looking forward to seeing who will one day be our Doctor Doom to clash with the first family@@AbitofEverything4U
This cast wasn’t what I was expecting them to choose but now seeing all of them side by side and especially illustrated in that 60s art style it’s honestly sold me immediately on what they are going for especially with Matt Shakman who did a great job on WandaVision being the director makes me most optimistic for this and Deadpool 3 to be the best movies of The Multiverse Saga before we eventually see what they do with Secret Wars
This channel will be a godsend when all of these releases start coming out in full gear. 😁 I’m so excited for this Fantastic 4 and don’t hate Pedro Pascal as much as other fans who’ve critiqued the casting. I feel maybe every character was casted a bit older for a reason but who knows. Can’t wait for what’s to come!
@@xXDexter3000Xx Sorry, was typing too quickly...meant to say that it looks like it will be great. I like the cast and the concept and I am convinced Feige won't let this film be anything but top tier!
@@AbitofEverything4U kevin feige is not at all knowledgeable enough about storytelling nor talented enough to “guarantee” even a decent movie. he was also convinced quantumania and love and thunder were slam-dunks. casting such trendy over-exposed actors as pedro pascal and joseph quinn is not a good sign either. marvel fans get convinced at the drop of a hat that the brand is saved while theyre still v much fighting against the current as is. we’re gonna be stuck with terrible fanservice and nonsense multiverse storytelling for the next like five years, the only actual hope left is of mitigating longterm damage.
0:50 The full movie is on RU-vid, it's storyline was solid but the budget was so limited. The film was only made to hold onto the copy right to the F4 The Thing has some of the best one liners that will make you wanna die 😂 6:48 I think this is my favorite part of the announcement 😅 IDK why but I'm in love with that logo/ redesign
Man people used to complain about the fox x-men movies too! But now all of a sudden everybody wants to see them lol smh. Marvel let us know they won’t be bullied into fan castings! I applaud that! A very slippery slope that would have been and micro could come back, this isn’t stopping Pedro from his Mandalorian commitments
Nah, they should of picked someone else. They don't have to be bullied either if they chose someone else. Not saying they should of pick Krazinzki(I like him in the role but I'm not mad he isn't returning...much). Not saying the film itself will be bad, far from it.
I think that the movie will be set in modern day and the poster having references to the 60s is Marvel paying homage to the real life creation of the Fantastic Four. That and it being revealed on Valentine’s Day is Marvel telling us that the movie will be a love letter to that family that basically made Marvel.
Great channel, super informative! I thought I was a super fan and then I stumbled across your channel a couple of months ago and i realized there was so much more to know haha. Thanks for your content!
Thanks so much for the kind words and positive feedback. Love making the vids for the channel and so it's great to hear when fellow MCU fans enjoy them as well!
I wouldn’t be surprised if the United States did run a secret space program during the 1960s where a group of their astronauts experienced a tragic situation and were presumed dead and kept that under wraps because they truly didn’t know what happened to the F4. Then they can somehow be displaced through time to the future as an explanation to why they weren’t referenced in history. It would just make the F4 feel more special if they originate from the 616 universe. No one would know about the F4 besides maybe their disappearance for years and to the F4 they’ll seem like they just left the 60s yesterday.
Good point...there is definitely some value in having them come from 616 so that they feel like they originated from the main MCU rather than a different universe.
Literally, can’t wait for the film! And Marvel Studios couldn’t have picked a better Director than Matt Shakman! With the success he created with WandaVision and the period pieces, this is going to be an iconic and smash hit!
11:19 I'm not quite sure what you meant to say about why it's a love story that D&W is set in the FOX X-Men universe? Disney bought 20th Century Fox in 2017, the MCU TVA is a key player and the Fox studio logo can be seen demolished in the background of the teaser trailer, which says to me that they are done with Fox, and not beholden to it. Also, wouldn't the Fox Universe be an entirely different dimension instead of just another branch on the 616 timeline? AFAIK only America Chavez can travel across dimensions, whereas the TVA and even the Watcher can only access variations of the 616 MCU reality that branch off the Sacred Timeline or the Sacred Time Tree, right?
Great questions! So, if you haven't seen my Deadpool trailer breakdown, you can check it out here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_0cXr5-xkcA.html. I go into my thoughts on that movie in alot more detail in that vid. What I was meaning to say is that I think the Deadpool movie will be a love letter to the fans that enjoyed the X-men films over the years and that it will have lots of the old characters return one last time. Thus, I think the focus of that movie will be on saying goodbye to Fox and won't be very MCU heavy. And you are correct, the Fox universe is in a different universe and thus I think the TVA is a different TVA in Deadpool's movie. The Loki TVA was created by HWR, but I could imagine the TVA in the Deadpool movie being created by the Kang Council to manage the rest of the multiverse.
I’m also betting 1967. Not just because of the Apollo suit, but 1967 was also when the cartoon came out, which of course, is the origins of H.E.R.B.I.E. AND the Multiverse of Madness reference. Everyone jumps to the Beatles being known as the “Fab Four” (and ofc this is what Pedro is referencing) - but with Strange being an encyclopedic music nerd (a la, the first film), it’s worth pointing out there was actually a R&B group called “The Fantastic Four” that was a one-hit-wonder, and guess when their hit song charted? 1967. I don’t know how I feel about the Fantastic Four being from a different universe because then they don’t really feel like the “MCU Fantastic Four”. I would think it maybe possible that they originated from the 1960s but the mission that gave them their powers sent them elsewhere and to the modern day MCU, but who knows. I’m prepared to eat my words.
Yeah, that's a good point that they won't necessarily feel like the MCU's team if they are from a different universe. Lots for Marvel to consider, for sure! Oh, and good point about the Fantastic Four being a one-hit wonder recording group. Would be cool if their band was referenced in the movie!
I like the 3/4 of the cast. Vanessa Kirby is gorgeous and can definitely play the leading lady very well. Her and Namor are going to be hot. 😂. It actually would be really cool if she spoke in her British accent. It would be a cool twist on Sue. I'm still not sure about Pedro, however. We'll see. He can play a jerk real well. Game of Thrones did that, and Joel from Last of Us. He can be a big mean, detached person. So maybe it can work. I'm glad I'm not the only person who enjoys the 2000s FF movies.😂 I thought that cast was so good. Chris evans played jerk, ladies' man real well. Chiklis, as the Thing, is still the best marvel casting, next to Downey and Simmons. He played it perfectly. This cast has a ton of pressure. Im sure they can handle it. I love that they revealed the cast as an old school painting instead of a standard poster. My theory is that the FF never existed in the MCU. And that this team is from the multiverse, it goes wrong, and they end up in the MCU universe. How can Doom exist if the FF didn't? Well, he can exist, Sokovia happened. And Doom renames it Latveria, he gets injured in Age of Ultron, and slowly but surely gains power, but the Avengers are busy and broke up, and then the blip, he takes power. Boom, there ya go. I hope Marvel breaks the FF curse. Great video as usual.
Excellent feedback! Yeah, I loved Chiklis as the Thing...perfect casting. And I'm hoping Pedro wins me over. I suspect they picked him for a reason, so I'm down with it. Can't wait to see what direction they go with the movie!
I have my reservations for Pedro but if anyone can play the future father it's him. I really don't know any of Vanessa's work but that's why I gotta resume my Mission Impossible movie watch lol. I am so happy about Joseph being Johnny. So so happy about that casting. And then, there's Ebon. Good ol' Micro from Punisher. Happy to see him get this role too and I think he'll CLOBBER this role. Have no idea about HERBIE but seems cool. I have a feeling Thing will be CG (like Thanos) but I always preferred the prosthetics look personally. I will say I do not like the idea of the multiverse thing, but I also agree with your sentiment. However your void idea does sound like a lot of fun. Also wait What If S3 was confirmed?
Yeah, Pedro is probably the casting I'm the least sold on but I'm willing to give him a chance as I suspect he'll work together well with the rest of the cast. And yeah, What If S3 is definitely confirmed and I'm hopeful it might actually move to Christmas '24. We got that teaser with the Bucky and Red Guardian team-up which looks great!
You know it’s funny that I was thinking 2-3 days ago i had never finished this video, so I hop on RU-vid tonight and start scrolling and I was thinking to myself “I wonder if he’ll cover Madame web too” And I got goosebumps when I saw the video for Madame Webb and gasped and my husband asked if I was okay 😂 he thought I saw a spider lmao. Needless to say I’m watching it next. Thank you for being a mind reader lol
That's a great story! Glad it wasn't a spider, as I have been known to jump back 10 feet or more when I see even a small spider! But yeah, it was a very crazy week when so many announcements came out all at once, but I managed to get a video together for all of them. Really hoping we don't have another week like that for quite some time!
I actually really love this cast. People have their doubts about Joseph Quinn but I think he's better than we give him credit for - Eddie Munson was not an easy role to pull off! Pedro I think is a wonderful actor for Reed as a family focused Reed which I think works nicely with the 60s setting, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach is the perfect casting for Ben Grimm, especially because he's actually Jewish. As a Vanessa Kirby STAN, I'm so pleased that she's joining Marvel and I absolutely cannot wait to see her in this!!!
Very, VERY excited for the new F4. Was unsure of the casting at first, especially Reed, but seeing them all together in the promo they look great. The 60’s theme is beautiful, with their first comic being released in ‘61 which started the rebirth of Marvel. Also love the artwork and suits. If done right, and that’s a big if, Reed really can be the Tony Stark of the next 10 years of Marvel.
Love the optimism for the movie...I agree, it's gonna be amazing based on what we've seen so far. And it would be great if Reed becomes the new Tony. Certainly has that potential...Pedro is great casting!
I think having them not be the actual F4 until they return from their extra dimensional banishment makes sense to me because they would’ve just been a team of scientists lost in their pursuit of exploration, rather than a big hero team that would have obviously had more laurels and public attention. For them to have been SHIELD scientists testing the powers of the Tesseract would be incredibly appropriate and interesting. That said, having them from another universe recruited by Loki, in the same way Deadpool is, to assist in whatever is coming next would be similarly cool. The only reason I don’t like multiverse stuff for a lot of these heroes is that it would/should alienate them from the world they’re supposed to protect. Obviously they’ll still protect it, but what about their old world and/or inhabitants? Having the F4 and/or Loki discredit them as civilian casualties feels so backwards to me. Shouldn’t their ultimate goal be to get back to/save their reality? So then the F4 are destined to leave the MCU/sacred timeline/616/199999? That just feels so unsatisfying. If Loki is the keeper of time and a proponent of free will, there should be no need for this kind of plot, imo. If we’re getting MCU F4 movies, they should be in the MCU. Alternate realities, timelines, and universes should continue to be treated as they have been in MoM, NWH, etc. - auxiliary and temporarily explored but not the central focus.
Excellent feedback! I agree, it could be tricky to have the Fantastic Four leave their home universe to come to ours...unless, perhaps their universe is destroyed. Maybe they come to ours to warn us of the dangers of the collapse of the multiverse? So many ideas...can't wait to see which direction Marvel decides to go!
Yeah, it'll be interesting to see how Pedro fits with everyone else, but I suspect he was cast for specific reasons and so I'll be interested to see how it all plays out. Looks like it's gonna be great!
We’ve seen the 616 and 838, fantastic four could be 727 if that’s a thing, or 949 or even 941 since I think that number was seen in Deadpool. Or some x men timelines could be designated 941
(Commenting this here since your next video will probably be about it) Do you think there's any significance to X-Men 97 now being labeled as Marvel Animation instead of Marvel Studios. Do you think this means there's less of a chance that it will connect to the MCU eventually via Deadpool/Secret Wars. Or do you think it's just a marketing move to make sure people on social media don't think Marvel is announcing a new X-Men live action movie.
Wow...very good question. I do think Marvel wants it to be viewed as a separate entity but I am also hopeful we could see it tying into Secret Wars down the road. If nothing else, it's bringing back the hype for the X-men ahead of Deadpool 3, so that's awesome in and of itself!
My battery is dying, don't know if I can finish the video, but was just thinking what if The Fantastic Four was something He Who Remains was very deliberately and specifically keeping out of the sacred timeline and that's why the main MCU doesn't have them, but their universes can happen post loki. Like I think Mutants are just developing and coming to light later in the timeline, but I think The Fantastic Four specifically were kept out and of course in the comics Reed is Kang's ancestor. Or maybe it's not even about Kang himself, maybe he saw Franklin as a threat. Regardless, I like this idea because it manages to keep the significance of Marvel's first family in the universe without them being from the universe.
So here is my theory. Some of it is based on what I've heard behind the scenes and some of it on comic book lore. The FF are in a unique universe where they are the only heroes, there are no Avengers. This was done not only to explain why they didn't help with Thanos or anything else but also because Marvel doesn't want to undo Tony Stark being the smartest guy on Earth. And post-Secret Wars, the new world they create will be unified: Avengers,X-Men and FF are all in the same world and always have been. That's the soft reboot. Everything in the MCU still happened but the backstory of FF and the X-Men also happened. They will be dealing with the coming of Galactus and possibly a Silver Surfer herald. Eventually Reed gets an idea. He is versed in multiverse theory and he has been noticing strange tears in reality out in space. Investigating one of them he finds a portal to a different dimension that he calls the Negative Zone. Maybe he runs into Annihilus there, maybe not. But once Galactus becomes a problem, his solution becomes to trick him into somehow getting trapped in the Negative Zone. But...he's not supposed to be there and putting him there causes an incursion between the Negative Zone and the FF Earth. And Earth dies. At the last second, the FF or maybe just Reed is yanked out by the TVA who say they need his help with a team they are putting together, a team that at the moment includes Deadpool and Wolverine. The TVA can also say that realities in the multiverse don't always occupy the same point in time, thus that's why this Earth is still in the 60s.
Very cool theories...I'd be down for all of that. The only thing I think they will do slightly differently in the reboot is they will go more with what happened in the 2015 Secret Wars, where different universes end up being combined but their original histories are still separate. What I mean is that Miles came over from 1610 and after Secret Wars he and Peter are in the same universe. But their histories up to that point weren't re-written. I think Feige is proud of all he's done with the MCU and won't want to erase it all with Secret Wars. Instead, his goal will be to combine everything going forward but keep the history leading up to it the same. But just my guess on that. Thanks for sharing your theories. Really appreciate it!
Can't wait for the Fantastic Four! I will say, the casting announcement did surprise me just a bit. All of the picks seem pretty great but Pedro Pascal definitely threw me for a loop as Reed Richards. He's just not what I expected lol. He is a tremendous actor though, so I think he can pull it off with the complexity that Reed Richards requires... I just hope he shaves the mustache haha. I need a clean shaven Reed! Maybe he can grow out the full beard later down the line. Great video as always
Excellent feedback on the vid...yeah, Pedro was a big surprise to me as well. But Marvel has a fantastic record on casting, so hopefully they all play off each other really well. Can't wait!
I'm so glad that the Fantastic 4 rumor mill is finally over! For a while it seemed that every "big news" was just another fan-cast. You should not move over to that content. It's the reason that makes your channel so great! Each video is unique.
I'm pretty much in agreement with you about the cast, I wouldn't have necessarily chosen all the actors for the cast myself, but I'm happy with who we got and I think they'll do well. I can see arguments for them being from another Universe and ending up in the void, though I kinda see it being similar to what they did with Janet, like they are popular in the Sacred Timeline 60's but then get trapped in another realm, in this case the Negative Zone, and then they eventually free themselves and show up in the modern day Sacred Timeline. I could see it set up where the Negative Zone is set up as part of the Void or whatever and that during the Avengers movies or whatever the team uses the Negative Zone to try and rescue characters from the Multiverse and establish Battleworld that way. Perhaps Doom could even be trapped in the Negative Zone with the Fantastic Four and then leaves later. Basically, I think most of the movie might take place in the Negative Zone with an opening in the 60's and an ending in the 2020's. Characters have to get to the Void somehow if it is going to end up being Battleworld, and I don't think it'll all be from the TVA.
I do like the idea of using the negative zone to explain the F4's disappearance. I'd be down with that if they go in that direction. Excellent theories!
I still hope the movie takes place in 616, no matter the time period, because otherwise it will always feel like they’re not “our” Fantastic Four. If they get trapped in the negative zone in the 60’s or something similar, it’s possible shield and the US government could have tried to cover that up- so the public wouldn’t know they were responsible in some way of that incident
Excellent feedback! That's a very good point about them not feeling like our F4 if they aren't from 616. Will be interesting to see what direction they go with the story.
The whole 60's theme really took me by surprise. It's certainly possible that they might be planning to place them in the 60's in the sacred timeline, since that period is pretty blank in the MCU timeline thus far. But your idea is way more interesting for connecting it with the multiverse and using the Void as seen the Deadpool trailer. I just don't know why they would have it take place in the 60's in another universe, unless it's just a creative choice. Either way, I'm really excited to see how all these multiverse teases eventually come together, much like how we kept getting subtle infinity stone teases throughout phases 2 and 3. I'm actually much more excited about that than seeing the Fantastic Four themselves, but that's pretty much how I've been with Marvel movies this whole time, just more interested in how it all fits together than what they do with the individual characters.
I'm with you 100%...while I love the individual stories in the multiverse saga, I'm even more fascinating by how it all connects together. Phase 4 involved setting up alot of building blocks and at times seemed to have no overall direction, but I think that Phase 5 is showing us how it's all been fitting together. Love it!
The Fantastic Four is from the universe where Monica Rambeau was trapped at the end of “ The Marvels”. It’s also the same place Clea took Dr. Strange to in M.O.M. Then secret wars will be that universe verses the 616 universe. In that universe Kang will tricked the heroes to battle the 616 heroes to save their universe.
I believe the witches road show is cancelled with the storyline integrated into agatha? I could be completely wrong tho. Also, with the F4, the only problem I have with alternate timeline is the fact that I think Reed wouldn’t want to create incursions, plus having marvel’s first family be absent for marvel’s history feels weird but I’d be happy either way
Yeah, I'm wondering if the Witch's Road is cancelled. It seems we'd have heard about it being worked on otherwise. And you raise some good points about the issues with the F4 being from another universe. Excellent feedback!
About the matter of you covering rumors: If they're false, the videos will age badly. However, when a rumor ends up true, you could make a video retelling the story of such rumor from the early leaks and theories until it's official confirmation.
Your videos are great! Best marvel analyst out there in my opinion. I also follow other channels that make a video every single time a casting rumour is out and it honestly gets so repetitive it’s annoying. I think your channel is unique and refreshing in that way, no click-bait, straight to the point, no unnecessary 10 minute long videos to say things that can be told in 30 seconds, I really like it. There’s so much to come that I will absolutely need your videos to keep up with what marvel is cooking, great vid!
Thx so much for that feedback. I agree, I'm not a fan of the rumors/leaks vids that seem to come out every day and so I'm very happy to hear you are in agreement that I should avoid those and let other channels tackle them. Many thanks!
I’m all of a sudden super excited for Fantastic Four. I LOVE the 60’s spin on the characters and that they are potentially from another universe. I can’t wait to see how they interact with the Avengers in Kang Dynasty & Secret Wars.
Glad you did this video, so much to get out of one image lol. I am really happy it takes place during the 60s, though I will be disappointed if it's not in the MCU. Kind of defeats the point if it's not in the same universe, not to mention they'll have to jump through a bunch of hoops to let them be in crossovers to avoid incursions and the like.
Yeah, the question of whether it will be part of the main MCU or a different universe is definitely a big deal. I'm fine either way, as long as it makes sense and is a good story. Can't wait to see the movie next year!
I know you said you don't like the rumors but how do you feel about the hints on the 4.4 day poster with human torch? That being it's on a different earth, that being alternative 60s in a different universe? Also really enjoy the idea of everything landing in the void one by one
Great question...I talked abit more about that in this vid, if you are interested: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-smDDidW3nU0.html. I really like the idea of it being in a different universe and then landing in the common void for the entire multiverse.
Another fantastic video as always ! Actually, in regards to the Fantastic Four causing an incursion if they were to hop from one universe to another, wouldn’t it make sense then, that this movie take place in an alternate branch of the main 616 within the Loki tree so we don’t need to worry about that? However, a movie entirely set in a new universe and ending in the void with a set up by Deadpool & Wolverine will be a great way to lead to Avengers Secret Wars :0
Great feedback! Yeah, I really like the idea of F4 being in an alternate universe and eventually ending up in the void. That just seems to build all the more excitement for Avengers 5 and 6. But in the end, I'm down for whatever they end up throwing at us. So much to look forward to!
1:48 yeah, he was very excited when he has been talking about this movie for the past year I can remember him being really excited for this movie The clarify he was a producer on the 2000s one similar to him being a producer and a lot of other non-MCU Marvel movies around the same time, but he was only an executive producer, not a producer who is more involved in the story
hey, long time fan. dont know if you know this but just commenting for anyone who didnt, the fantastic four reference in MoM is not just about fantastic four from marvel but also the fantastic four, a motown group from the 60s, whom im really hoping they have music from in the movie.
I just rewatched the previous fantastic four films while not great, I dont think there horrible. But it got me thinking about their timeline placement if they are in the fox timeline. I think the first fantastic four film could take place between x-2 and last stand, then rise of the silver surfer after last stand. Then in days of the future past when Logan alters the timeline, it makes me believe that an effect of logan altering the timeline, the original fantastic four do not exist anymore in the altered timeline. In the new altered timeline the 2015 version of the fantastic four now exsit. But due to deadpool (in all his mighty glory) deciding to go on his time schenagons, another altered timeline is created, where this time there is no fantastic four. Leading me to believe that the tva would have pruned those first two timelines sending all their inhabitants to the void. Which could open up the possibility for the original the fantastic four to appear when deadpool is traveling through the void in deadpool 3. We know we see pyro in the deadpool 3 trailer and to my knowledge he never re appeared after the last stand. Which leads me to believe we very well could end up seeing some of the original fantastic four in deadpool 3. (I certainly hope so)
This would be a great way to to revisit Cap returning the stones and staying in the past. Hilding on to the combination Stark/Pym tech but not showing it to either Howard Stark or Hank Pym, instead choosing to trust a new scientist named Reed Richards in the 60's once he witnesses their infighting first hand. From there the story can then take off.
I love the optimism and I really hope I get surprised with how good this movie can be on release but, be honest with yourself this is going to be another lackluster film that only dedicated mcu fans are going to enjoy. This trend of terrible films and shows isn’t leading to anything promising, the Deadpool film looks like it lost all the charm of the last two and on top of that all the directors and writers that actually made great projects have moved on. I’m sorry but it just doesn’t and hasn’t looked promising
I definitely understand why you have your reservations on the MCU. They definitely lost some of their luster in the last few years. But I'm really hoping that with them taking the year off (other than Deadpool 3) that Marvel is getting their house in order and that we'll have some really great MCU movies coming soon. Fingers crossed!
I know its a joke but the charting in the 60's joke would mean that doctor strange would have know of a fantastic four time ?? maybe im just reaching here lol
So, ig it turns out there was an actual music group called the Fantastic Four that did indeed chart in the 60's. I thought Dr. Strange was referring to the Fab Four (i.e. the Beetles), but he may have been referring to a real music group. Wild stuff!
So since this would probably be in another universe that we’re unlikely to visit again once they’re in the MCU, I really hope Earth gets destroyed or something like that before it’s revealed that that wasn’t the same universe
Waited in anticipation for this video the moment the casting was announced. I think the casting is fantastic! Pun intended. But keep what you are doing and not go into the rumor mill. As for the discord for whatever reason clicking on verify does not produce the verification link. So not able to participate in any discussions there.
I'm so glad you feel I should stay away from the rumor mill. I agree 100%. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on that. As for the verification link, that's a bummer. You could open a support ticket and one of the admins will be happy to help you get it resolved.
please only talk about official stuff because you risk becoming like everythingalways where they used to report on stuff now they just feed the rumor mill and report stuff that is just blantley wrong or not confirmed as fact
I'm so glad to hear you say that. I really like sticking with what's been officially released by studios as I find the rumors to be tedious and unending. Thanks so much for that feedback!
I agree that you shouldn’t go into leaks and rumors. I feel like speculating is perfectly fine but as long as it has a basis. This movie is gonna be so dope!!!
I like Pedro but don't see him as Reed, but if he's going to become the Maker, then I can see him being a good villain. I don't think Vanessa is a good choice for Sue either.
Thanks for sharing your feedback on the cast. Yeah, I definitely have some concerns, but I do think they likely picked the cast due to how well they interact together, so hopefully we'll be pleasantly surprised when the movie arrives!
I think this is going to be more of a Captain America situation where the movie takes place in the MCU in the 1960s, but at some point the team gets stuck in some other dimension like the quantum realm and when they get back to earth it's present day
I love the casting but I always thought it was interesting that people really considered the thing, because in this day and age I feel it would be a mostly voice role. I guess they can do motion capture but still.
Please stay away from rumors🙏🏼, what makes your channel so good is that you are a space to theorize and talk Marvel without possible leaks and rumors! Hard to find those these days!
I'm so glad to hear you say that. I really like sticking with what's been officially released by studios as I find the rumors to be tedious and unending. Thanks so much for that feedback!
Is the Void a physical location like a planet or is it an infinite plane? If Arishem was pruned could he fit in there? Is there space around the physical plane we saw? Or is it like another realm with many many planets in it as well? Technically the Celestials are not out of time so they can be pruned out of it as well.
Excellent questions...I can't wait to see what they end up doing with the void. So many ways they could go with it. My guess is that it is more like a planet, as I think they are moving towards a battleworld type setup. But we'll have to see what ends up happening. Very exciting!
Yeah, so much good news for the MCU. Been a very good (and very busy) week. I'm working on Madame Webb right now and then will do X-men '97. And I might try to sleep in there somewhere...lol!
Yup, it's honestly hard to say at this point. Although I would be abit surprised for them to lean so much into the 60's with the advertising and then not do something with it in the movie...but perhaps they come from the 60's and get shot forward in time? Will be very interesting to see direction Marvel decides to go with things. Definitely looking forward to the movie!
