You missed a move. I was playing him yesterday. A few times after activating rage mode 2 long pipes came out of his shoulders. I didnt know what i pressed. It happened a few times. Couldnt succesfully activate the move. But its there. Would love to see that one.

it's amazing how they managed to implement this character. I still have some doubts about how it can be eaten by Taz or how it can be hidden by Bat-man's smoke bomb; but the addition of the Iron Giant gives me hope for a possible Godzilla addition

You left out one of the coolest parts. During rage mode (protect friends) your teammate can get inside you as a gunner and they get abilities to use.

Some stuff that I found that isn’t completely correct. His rage mode charges when teammates TAKE damage not when they deal it. His side attack is a 3 hit attack but you can cancel the 3rd into a sit but you still get to use the sit as a 4th attack so his side attack is a 4 hit combo if used correctly. You didn’t really talk about his thorn effect but that’s something we’re still learning I guess. I love the content and I just wanted to give more information about this

One other important thing I didn’t see in the video is when you do the car spin attack when moving, it automatically angles the car downward in the direction you move, which makes it a great move to charge at an enemy while simultaneously covering you from attacking enemy teammates behind you trying to get you from diagonally up

Iron giant is amazing bro. He is my main -cough- big boi energy, super tanky and dishes out good damage. Just be ready to get jumped most of the games your playing. Love the video super helpful!

he's fun to use but he can be comboed pretty mercilessly if your opponent gets you in a stun

My god, i skipped because i'm wondering how the static discharge worked since i don't get what it means by "grants a stack of thorns by each unique source of gray health", this is awesome as well though

The move where iron giant swings the car round if you tilt your stick you can hit character that are standing.

The special do have hitstun when launching it, since you can use it while being combos this is a great survivability tool as well as way to reverse agression. It also starts at 2 bolts because you start the fight with two bolts but if you only have one it sill only give you 1 hit of armor.

Great point! I would but honestly all perks are so good and some can be better depending on the situation and who your fighting, so tbh I don't really think there's a catch all best perks for characters. Maybe I'll put a video together and see how it does 😎

I noticed that if you have him as a partner in a team match, you can get the prompt to hop in him like a mech. Idk the effects of it completely because I quickly hopped back out cuz it was a 2v2 match and didn't want the big bot to get merked with me still in it lol.

If you grab them you can use an up attack and throw them upwards so if you have an enemy at like 100 damage you can quite possibly throw them out of the ring

I want to love this character SO BAD, as it was my ALL TIME favorite movie as a child, but he's just so unique (which is awesome) and there's not much wiggle room with his playstyle, you kinda have to just be a big tanky fuck who gets constantly combo'd and barely gets a chance to attack, but god DAMN does it feel good when you do finally hit someone with his insane dmg.

Thank you for the tutorial, I am an IG main and idk why every time I attack someone with the giant even if my attack already started he attacks me too and block mine, that happens even if I pressed the button and the attack animation started, often I can’t even do a combo cause every attack get stopped. Exist an attack speed that the faster attacks stop the slower or smt?

So it's called attack priority, basically coding deciding who's attack is gonna connect first regardless of who started the attack first. Main example is shaggy, shaggy has of of attack priority moves and it can get super annoying. Ya gotta be careful with iron giant cuz he's just a giant punching bag got many players. Ya gotta play smarter not harder 💯

Got 506 once, it gets harder to play him later on with bugs bunny players spamming you to an iron pulp with combos you can't escape due to the hitbox

Another about grabbing: If the opponent is at a high enough percentage, usually around 115%, you can just toss them up into the blast zone

This has OP potential, he’s like Ganondorf, mixed with Bowser. Idk if they’ll ever be competitive tournaments for this game like smash. But if there is, he may be a banned character depending how ppl start to use him. And I saw a comment saying to add Godzilla, now that’ll be fucking amazing

It's pretty hard but if it hits, you can move into the side special. I more use it for the the bolt when the enemy isn't near me really 😅

Favorite character before I even played I knew he was gonna be my main because I love that movie. Do you have any tips for fighting in the air as him? Faster characters such as Shaggy and Bugs Bunny just hit me out of anything I do in the air.

Exactly. I’m decent at the game and was worried I wasn’t going to be good with him bc it says “expert” my friend and I went on like a 12 game win streak lol. It was equal team effort no one was carrying. Maybe when ranked comes out then I’ll understand why people hate him but rn he’s so fun to use. I fly around to avoid hits and most people chase then I jus cannon ball and most don’t know how to counter

Your plasma ball shot was too high. You should have redone it, after firing it from a different location to make sure it hit. I wanted to see what kind of damage it would do. Sadly I never got to see that, because you never fired it again in this video.
