Here's something evil: Marvin's Uair and Utilt and considered 2 different moves, so you can bypass the attack decay and spam your opponents from below with never stale projectiles

I always kinda knew it was out there and I tried it out a couple of times but I just never really clicked with the like “Smash Bros gameplay” I guess (Not saying it’s just a smash rip off because in my opinion it’s superior) but one day it just clicked and I’ve been having a blast ever since!

I think he’s too slow in his attack speed to be an assassin but if they make him faster he would be a very good character

His setup’s just don’t work, and crouch walking is useless 😢 (sad cause I love more looney toons in the game but not mediocre ones that feel like unfinished thoughts)

After playing him for a bit, I thought of a crazy play you could do. Set up the up special and jump on top of it, then set down special on it. This makes for a decent combo that either forces your opponent to go in the auto lock zone in order to destroy the ufo, or potentially get hit by a rocket that kills really early

He’s more of a support character but he can kill pretty early if you combo right. The rocket and trumpet can kill at 45 so he’s pretty good

With the Martian flag (down special) in play, you can do some really dirty things with him. Enemies are target locked for a good bit even if they leave the field radius.

I did notice if you put your opponent's behaviour as Dodge and Dodge during stun, they can at many instances dodge many of the the crucial attacks to fully complete the combos shown. Maybe they do need to buff Marvin's attack speed a little.

@@onestep I love your videos, but if you want to do combos I recommend putting the dodge after hitstun setting on the cpu. I've seen tons of creators do that but you do you

@@Prometheus290 I appreciate the input! I don't do that most the time cause in a platform Fighter I don't believe that hit stun needs to appear in order for a combo to be considered a "true combo". I've done these combos online without my enemy escaping. I don't think it's viable to learn only "true combos" I think a player should learn strings of hits that can go together and learn how to do those in a real time fight. Cuz even "true" combos arnt always gonna connect depending on your opponents damage percentage. So what's the point of learning em? Platform fighters are way different than standard fighters, where standard fighter combos are ALWAYS going to hit/connect. And again in platforms, they won't. So I just string together hits that make sense.
