Shaggy is legit kind of busted, but it is funny as hell to see people unironically complaining about how FUCKING shaggy is OP. The memes were actually a warning.
Shaggy isn't really busted at all. He's mostly just a well rounded and easy to play character, if anything you could argue he's maybe a little heavy but he's far from busted. T&J are busted with the best ranged offensive kit in the game and a melee kit that can hang with anyone. T&J is literally a threat anywhere on the map in a way no other character is.
3 stock tourney play sure (maybe even in ranked singles) but with online singles two stock is great. With the rematch option if it goes up to three stock you are playing with at most 9 stocks that's way to long imo just for a online match it would cause a lot of people taking the win and not taking the rematch.
that’s probably fair i think ppl are just used to the 3 stock format cause that’s the most common stock number. plus 3 stocks allows for more of a comeback imo
Agreed and with a buddy you can play with the stocks, but as it is I already don’t take 100% of my rematches. You’re right if there were 3 stocks I may take even less. It’s interesting psychology
Well know i see clearly what the game needs here: 1- Arya needs a buff 2- Shaggy needs a nerf 3- They need to add/modify sum 1v1 things for specific characters, in the case of arya her unique perks and her down special are absolute trash on 1v1. 4- Seriously Arya needs a buff.
Low-key Arya needs a buff on her up airs. She struggles hard-core to kill in this game. He was at the top of the screen and up aired him above 115 and he LIVED??? That should've been a kill confirm
If talking at 3:45 they were closer to stage than top screen if anything lol but looked like shags fastfell or dodged last minute to reduce knockback Shaggy needs nerd anyways
I'm still confused on the names for the attacks. Are we calling them side airs like brawlhalla or forward airs like smash. And are we using the terms specials instead of down b and up etc
Speaking as an Official Caster yes it is a side air. We say specials because it isn't one controller you can use all of them on PC so you say special. In official capacity anyways.
The game needs adjustments. Arya has no kill pressure on stage. Aside from that Finn is busted, Shaggy is heavy, Supz has the easiest cheese in game, aside from that I like the game.
finn doesn't need nerfs imo if they nerf him and fix the hotboxes he's gutted I think just the hit boxes being fixed is enough to put him down a few spots

ppl talking about the balance and I'm just thinking about how the developers clearly stated, "we are making this game for 2v2, we are balancing for 2v2, we will not care about 1v1"
Either arya is weak as hell with kill potential or shaggy is too heavy in this game to not die to that last up air combo. Should have been a kill confirm at that height and percentage but yeah otherwise was nice
