📅 As of September 2023, ground was broken for the 32-meter deep underground terminus, set to be operational by March 2028. This state-of-the-art station will span three floors, boasting platforms, concourses, and service areas, with platforms tailored for 16-coach bullet trains.
🔨 Awarded to the dynamic joint venture of MEIL-HCC, comprising Megha Engineering & Infrastructure (MEIL) and Hindustan Construction Company (HCC), the construction kicked off after acquiring 4.8 hectares of prime land at BKC.
👷♂️ February 2024 update reveals a bustling construction site with 774 workers diligently pushing progress forward. Witness the sheer scale as 400-500 truck trips ferry materials daily. With excavation plunging to 32 meters and 100% secant piling completion, featuring 3382 secant piles ranging from 17 to 21 meters, the project is rapidly shaping up.
