I got a little vertigo when you held the camera over the cliff, there is no way someone who is even a little bit scared of heights would go anywhere near that cliff. That is the importance of actually going there, much appreciated. I'm glad the jury saw through his story.👍👍

I’ve always said, money is not the root of all evil. Greed is. Funny how he secured a big life insurance policy just before her “accidental” death - which was covered by the policy underwriter. And to go out on a cliff, at night, when your afraid of heights - yeah. The jury made the right decision and thank God for the new prosecutor re-opening the case. RIP.

My friend,Jim gilhooly was pushed off those cliffs when he was 16 years old,and it’s now a cold case!!

Wow, don't think I've heard of this story before. I went hiking there once, beautiful spot.

There is a 1955 murder of two girls that were shot to death in College Park Maryland that was never solved. One man supposedly revealed to his girlfriend many years later that he did it but nothing was ever resolved.

In the 19th century picknickers would come over on the boat to play the new game baseball and visit Sybil's Cave at the Palisades. Setting of more than one unsolved murder back then. Chris always brings sensitivity and balance to his narration of these tragedies and makes it informative to watch.

I do remember this case and he was a suspect in prior murder of his ex . It involved her being crushed by her SUV while changing the tire .

Holy crap this story is insane! The whole time you were telling the story I knew he was guilty so when you said he was found guilty I was so happy. And yes it’s very fascinating case. Thank you for your great work my friend

I grew up there and went to college nearby and visited this park many times. The views are fantastic, but Chris is a ton braver than me........I could never go up to the edge as close as he did. It freaked me out and this point alone makes me believe Jodi was murdered and he's in prison right where he belongs!! Jim C.

Wow! I am thinking the same thing Chris. The dark, wine, a rock, perhaps intoxicated, what other people knew about him, his plans, insurance policies... he either done it himself, or maybe he had help with getting rid of her. He sounds like such a sick jerk. And Chris, you are such a brave young man to get closer to the spot where she could have fallen. Dangerous rocks, tree limbs, and of course, the water is right below you. Always consider your safety and I know you do, when going into unfamiliar places. The area you were in reminded me so much of the Suicide forest in Japan. I enjoyed your documentary and I hope more clues come in to finalize this incident and close it.

Hi Chris. I used to live on the opposite side of the river in "the century" building (riverdale bronx). I could see a glimpse of it in your video @ 2:44 its the tall, wode inverted T shaped buolding near the top right sode of the screen. While there, i could look out through the living room window and see the rockefeller lookout ans this spot (lovers chair). Eerie feeling. I learned about this story in 2017 and it always bothered me that this spot was staring at me right in the face, but also was a beautiful view. Brings back so many great memories. Thank you for this video.

I kinda thought this video was gonna be about this girl I went to school with. Her boyfriend dumped her body off the cliff and it took several years before anyone found out. Also I was actually thinking of going for a hike on that trail not too long ago. Would have been funny to run into you there. Great video as always man.

Great video. I’ve not heard about this murder. Glad he was charged. I would never had agreed to go out on that cliff. Wonder why she did though being afraid of heights and telling someone she was afraid of him. Guess he threatened her with the hammer or a gun. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don't think she fell from there but her purse was put there in lower cliff to make it look like she fell there. She fell somewhere else. That is a theory. Where ever her body landed is where she fell.

I always wondered if she was already dead or unconscious when she went over. I do think he was involved with her going over.
