Stacey great interview with Derek. It would be cool if you two got together and fixed up a junk car, and did a road trip on Derek's RU-vid channel or television show.

I appreciate both of you more than I can say. I have friends who have been 'restoring' the same vehicles for years. They frown at my 62 Skylark that's never been painted , but runs like a top and my wife and our dogs love to ride around in. Or my 80 Mustang Cobra that spent 25 years in a garage before I bought it and got it running again - it's going to be my Power Tour ride this year. If every car is a trailer queen it scares off folks who can't afford $50k. So many people think this is only a hobby for the wealthy. I was running a clapped out 64 Falcon with a 289 that would do donuts and smoke the tires all day, and got more attention and fun conversations at car shows than the perfectly restored rides. Thanks to both of you for showing everybody you don't need to be a millionaire to enjoy a car and make memories!

So big respect bro,I'm bad at editing lol...I'm lucky enough to live in an area without smog laws ...im a drummer btw....So if you guys want to third in the mix give me a jingle let's jam! Anyway long winded for sure but truly love ya guys. I play a mapex birch set, with minal dark symbols and a lugwig superphonic snare. And dw9000 double bass.

The guitar stuff is kind of like the building your own car stuff you guys were talking about. Using what you have and not trying to sound like everyone else is more meaningful. That's coming from someone that isn't trying to make a living at it.

I like my music recorded on tape and I like when I see something like a hopped up Stovebolt in a 1950s Chevy. Auto tune, ProTools, and crate engines are too common.

I know this is off topic. What is the status of the Catalog Camaro project? I ask because Kevin Tetz is working on a Camaro he took from Derek.

Huge pass on anything close to rap, r&b. Everything else goes for sure. Rocker at heart though. Especially when wrenching on the 56 Chevrolet
