Everybody always mentions how Jonah sounds like MJ, but it baffles me that not enough people seems to notice how much Stevie influence is in that sound. Either way, they're amazing and I really enjoy your reactions to them.

Thanks for listening to the Loops with us once more, Tony, and good to see your mind blown yet again by these bad dudes. The MJ vibe is uncanny, and apart from that I’m in awe of their whole songwriting and arranging skills. Yeah, those choir-sounding patches- I wonder if it’s all or partially Jonah’s masterful vocal layering, like Lotta said… Henrik’s beautiful bass sound, his technique and his solo in there (one of my many favourite Henrik bass solos) are just out of this world -Aron’s impeccable playing, Jonah’s divine vocals…. This song is 🔥 in every way. And to listen to it with your ears and understanding, for me brings so much to it. I have the same sort of stunned laughing reaction to Henrik that you do. All of them, really, but as a hack bassist myself, he’s the one that really drives it home for me.

Saw them live at a small outdoors jazz festival in northern Sweden last year. I'm still slack-jawed. They are insanely good live. Btw, there is a real horn section in there as well (see the credits), just doubled by the keys. And that choir in the beginning sounds a lot like Jonah's voice, so my guess is there are some layered backing vocals by him on top of the keys as well.

Hi Tony. I’m a pro harmony arranger and an ok guitar/keyboard player lol. Only started watching reaction videos about a year ago. Have to say, as a pro of 38 years, yours are the most enjoyable insightful reactions. Like you, I listen and sometimes can only laugh at how they got to this level. Keep up the great vids, Snarky Puppy too. Would love to see you react to the Dan/Donald. If you have I’ve not found it.
