Yes she does it live. Thats how good it is. Shes like the female version of Devin Townsend going from clean to death.

I was on 2 concerts and I can say that she sounds even better live.

Almost no one comments on that killer drum fill at 4:25. So subtle.

Tatiana is a freight train and you're a deaf guy on the tracks facing the wrong way. She sneaks up on you and utterly destroys you! She's amazing!

I became an instant fan of Jinjer from the first song. Their older stuff is grittier and fantastic, but the new stuff is absolutely friggin wonderful. Definitely check out their live vids.

Seen them do Pices live 3 times now ,Tatiana during the last verses keeps it growly ,but wow,fantastic,Jinjer should be the biggest metal band on the planet atm imho.

YAYY!! Thank you so much for reacting to this song! I must mention they play around with different time signatures quite a lot so it might throw you off at first but eventually you can catch on and feel the groove of it I guess. :D

Jinjer - Who Is Gonna Be The One (Live)

BTW you were pronouncing Jinjer correctly. From all the interviews and other videos that I've seen that's how it's pronounced. Non of the original members are left in the band but the bassist, Eugene (who is the band's manager as well) was saying that the name is just made up from what he was told. They have 3 albums and I love them all! They have a lot of good live videos and sound like they are great live. Hope to see them someday if they play here in the US

Bad ass live!!!! Just seen them in a small venue with like 60 people.

The vocal melody in the verses reminds me of Incubus. Then her harsh vocals remind me of a female version of Chuck Schuldiner from Death. Some Opeth-ish elements in there too. A lot of their other tracks are more just kind of generic djent/metalcore with a really good female vocalist. This track makes me feel like they have a lot of potential beyond that. I hope they make it to the states sometime.

I'm gonna see them the next year on the Resurrection Fest, if you want to see them live search in RU-vid for their performance in this same festival.

So far the reactions to this vid ive seen are either jaw drop or they start laughing and go wowwwwww. I personally love this song and band for that matter

Thanks for checking this one out. It's crazy to think those vocals come from that tiny little woman, and she can certainly pull it off live. They definitely have some "groovier" songs like "Outlander" and "I Speak Astronomy" that will get your heads moving. I think this one just showcases the vocal dynamics off so well, as like you said, there's no warning before you get pummeled by her crazy heavy vocals. Cheers guys, I always enjoy hearing your opinions.

I know you reacted to this like *forever* ago.. but I found a live performance of this track. Jinjer - Pisces (Live at Resurrection Fest '18) Out of all the "live" concert videos this is the best and is taken from the 38 minute set they played.

If you like this one check out " I speak astronomy", for something with a groove " Outlander", straight out metal "Just another" or "Scissors"

Hehe always love seeing 1st time reactions to her vocals. Reminds me of my first listen to them. As for the musical undertones.. it may or may not have been mentioned before, but I kinda got a Buckethead - 'Soothsayer' vibe from the softer harmonics/clean vocals section. Maybe I am wrong.. but either way after so many years of listening to music things begin to sound familiar even if they are not hehe.

It's live with some backing vocals added in post production and it's pronounced ginger

You should check out "Namesake" from "Graveshadow". It is a very unknow band. It is with the singer of "Helion Prime" who uses both clean and growl vocals and she is just amazing.

Jinjer obviously has a lot in common with Meshuggah with their odd beat rhythms. Some of their clean stuff is almost like Tool. The bassist reminds me of Ryan Martinie from Mudvayne. The Band lineup of front person, one guitar, bass, drums is the Pantera, Mudvayne setup. It just works great. They are from Ukraine which is why they seemingly came out of nowhere but they've been touring Eurasia for a long time.

My favorite Jinjer Song is Outlander. You should check IT out. Finally, the band i can't stop to listen is Crystal Lake. It's a metal core band from Japan. They are really talented and the voice range of the singer is outstanding. As a first introduction, I recommand you to react to the song Omega of Crystal Lake. Continue your good job. I didn’t like this track the first time I heard it (and I’ve listened to a lot of death metal in the past) but after a few more listens it all started to click and I started finding all these cool musical moments that I missed out the first time around.

They could be considered a metal jazz band.

Tatiana sounds really like this live.

Definitely check some other songs. The reason this one gets recommended first is because its perfect for a blind, first reaction. It does the big 180 to take people by surprise. But I feel from your dislikes about it, those don't exist in most of the songs.

I say girl singers in the States want to be like Beyonce, Katy Perry, Selena Gomez etc. Girls in Europe want to be medal singers. There are so many women led medal bands over there haha.
