A full cover version of 'We'll Meet Again' in character as Alastor, featuring specially created backing music adapted from a wonderful piano arrangement by Neil Archer (please check out his work here: ru-vid.com/show-UCJrF....
I wanted to do something a little special for this one since it was requested of me quite a lot. I wanted to frame the song like a scene from the show, with Alastor playing the song on the piano for the listener as his powers fluctuate around him. I hoped it would give off a bit a more sinister air about it on certain lines to make it stand out.

Hey everyone, thanks for helping this cover song to go past 500k views! As my first attempt at singing in character our favourite Radio Demon, combined with my love for music of the era the original was written, I was genuinely unsure as to how it would be received compared to what I had done before. Or, at least, they're not aroace but there would be another label (since it's a cartoon character I don't think it'll be *that* deep, and I guess that labels will be pretty solid on there). Just to make myself clear, I think that people can easily feel other things even if it doesn't respect their labels (not everyone likes em, nay, some people even hate labels -Not me tbh-), but I guess that cartoon characters are pretty solid when the creator gives em somethin, ahah. So, the best part about Alastor singing this, in my mind, is that it actually fits him really, REALLY well. He's a deal maker. So, 'We'll meet again' is when the contract is up and Alastor gets his payment. Which would also be 'some sunny day' in Alastor's mind because he collects what is due; plus since Hell is constantly on fire it's quite literally 'sunny' there. This is just some analysis from me, though. I do not know what Paranoid DJ was thinking when putting this together, but I gotta say that it was quite creative and clever to me. Also, your Alastor singing voice is just so delightful and I've been enjoying all your work quite a bit.

Since he was a cannibal he would kill people and then eat a little of them and bury them. Husk died in a war and that is why Alastor respects him so much, because he is from old times and learned to always respect people older than him.

@@RamanNoodles01 Check their channel, it's not an AI. Additionaly, there was no decent audio AI in 2020. Even recent videos of people who actually make AI covers with Alasor are having audio artifacts, that commonly happens, when there is not that many audio samples to go from.

I imagine Alastor going back to the land of the living as he felt that his mother's life line was coming to an end. He the sat and started singing for her, she loved hearing his voice more then anything else. Her heart beat was getting slower and the doctor tried their best to keep her in the land of the living, Alastor kept singing for his mother, to be there for her during those last lonely moments. As the song was slowly coming to an end, much like her life, she sang the last lines of the melody with her son. She lifted her hand to caress his face, a sad smile forming on her face, a few tears were shed before her hand fell limp on the bed, then came the end of the song.

From the pilot episode, it seemed like viv had planned on Al being one of the villains of the series. That being said, as I was listening to this i pictured this playing as kinda a background song as charlie realizes she let her positive outlook on the demons of hell finally backfire. She realized that Alastor was never truly planning on helping her run her hotel to help demons get into heaven. Things have fallen to shambles. There's a riot outside the hotel doors. The demons she'd once known as friends have left, leaving only her and Vaggie. And when the song ends, it fades to Alastor's eyes glowing in the dark as you hear a faint radio static as the episode ends.

If he ends up being the series villain (or one of them, as I hope he does) then I doubt he’d get such a heartfelt goodbye. Except maybe with Charlie, because she’s the only one who forgives him or something after he commits a bunch of atrocities. And actually, this is the one of song he would sing to her, with the lyrics “Say hello to the folks that I know” (all the other people at the hotel that wouldn’t say goodbye out of spite) “Keep smiling through, just like you always do” (reinforcing her positivity) “We’ll meet again” (he is clearly dying, but she will live on so if I’m some way he survives or sinners can’t actually die, they will definitely meet again at some point)

i dont think a demon being redeemed is possible. i dont think the angels, the people, or god would allow a sinner in heaven because it would mean that change in the afterlife is 100% possible and it would become just like earth all over again with heaven being overrun with chaos as good people see bad people living it up in heaven and getting upset and snapping thus becoming a sinner. it would just be too much trouble for heaven. i mean any war vet from either world war seeing hitler in heaven is going to flip out. WITHOUT QUESTION OR HESITATION since he was the guy responsible for so many horrible acts. same goes for al, any past victims of there sins wouldn't allow them entry out of spite. but that doesnt mean sinners cant be good people. so in other words to make a long story short. i think alastor is right in thinking nobody can be redeemed but i also think charlie is right in thinking everyone can be better

OMG, this is fantastic! If I didn't know any better, I would've thought the actual singing VA for Alastor was singing this. I love how smoothly you sang this and were able to keep Alastor's personality throughout the entire song. The ending especially gave me a chill, kinda as if reminding listeners not to be swayed by the Radio Demon's beautiful singing voice. I absolutely love this cover and I can't wait for your next project!

He is incredibly smart. He uses his charm to lure his victims. And the best thing about him is that he knows his place and is pretty humble. I feel like that is the downfall of a lot of villains, they get to cocky and the hero always outsmarts them, but Al could give to sh*ts about his status, he doesnt care how people view him, he is too smart too have a big ego.

This is honestly one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard. Holy! The piano is so aged and sounds exactly like something Alastor would play! Also, you managed to get Alastor's voice down so well! And the melancholy vibes this spews out is so beautiful and haunting!
