My next one’s little mermaid as well!!! I’m crossing my fingers for Ariel, I got a Big Kid in our last one, Matilda (which was a biggER part, but not a big part, which I’m perfectly happy with! I love even just getting a part, funnest thing I was ever a part of!!), and I hope I get her, or get in at ALL at least, because it’s my last year in that school!! I auditioned with Burn from Hamilton in February and I got a main part in a musical. It’s a beautiful song, and it shows off your vocal range (I’m a soprano 2). I’m also going to do Beauty in the Beast at my school and I’m playing Belle! I auditioned with Tale as Old as Time.

keira bigtuin Soprano is a voice that’s relatively high Soprano 1 is one of the highest Besides tenor which is basically the highest, and Soprano two is a bit of a lower soprano

@Christopher Keroro For adult male voice types, the countertenor is the highest. For an example of a countertenor voice in action, listen to Epic 3 from Hadestown (sung by Reeve Carney). If we’re talking about a child whose voice hasn’t changed yet, there are “boy sopranos.”

for my soprano sisters: another good soprano audition song is the beauty is from the light in the piazza! its not overdone from what i've seen, and its really beautiful! a good place to begin is from "everyones a mother here, in italy..." and till the end! btw luv u kat

I am auditioning for spring awakening at my college. It is my first show for college and I pray I get in even though I know I may not get in. I have been work on the audition all summer and I just had a voice lesson today and the song I chose came together!! Now all i have to do is work on the nitty gritty stuff. But yeah, super excited about this show and hope I get in. Great video!

"The world according to chris" is traditionally alto or mezzo but Tessa Archer KILLS it in the Seattle cast as a soprano. So much so that it's become my go to for a sexy-ish, fast pace song- really stretches my range in both directions though.

Could you do a video about advice on studying drama when you have little experience or are stressed about studying the arts. I have applied to do theatre at Chichester/ UK and have decided to take a gap year, but I am very much worried about studying the arts and have had my dad tell me I will not succeed and will be in debt due to not finding a job. I cannot sing nor dance professionally and have acted before but keep thinking how due to an inexperience I am, as I remember looking back on my drama performances and feeling like I cannot be experisive and I struggle writing scripts and so I worry I will not find a career in drama.
