Whenever there's a compilation of musical theatre moments everyone forgets about the truly iconic moments from musicals such as, phantom, Jesus Christ Superstar, Les mis, miss Saigon, Evita etc

When I saw this started with Shrek the musical, I knew this video was going to be great.

Oh god starting with "are you there God? It's me Fiona" got me emosh bc I remember being 11/12 and DESPERATELY wanting to be young Fiona, I was too tall to audition by the time it got to London and was a poor kid outside of London who didn't know how to go about it, but it helped spark my desperation to perform, so that line resonated a lot with me when I was young. The line still gives me chills (also - I got my first professional performing job at 18, and even that was sheer luck, so don't fret kids - you'll get there! It's never too late and everyone goes at different paces.)

I was lucky enough to see a live production of Matilda (not on broadway) and it was amazing!

Having been in Addams Family, ONE NORMAL NIGHT IS HARD AS FUCK. YOU'RE DANCING WHILE THE TECH IS DOING A MASSIVE SET CHANGE, AND YOUR SINGING, AND HARMONIZING AND TRYING TO STAY IN CHARACTER WHILE A 2 STORY SET IS HURTLING TOWARDS YOU. ITS EPIC.

Oh boy, one normal night is SO hard. Both for the Addams and for the ensemble. Those notes are so freaking high
