Yes, sometimes it surprises me when I watch the earlier episodes. I believe the voice actress said she changed Applejack’s voice to be lower so that her and Rainbow’s voice (since she voices both) stay separate from each other

"I'm the Friend You Need" - very nice & creative number. "One Small Thing" - super upbeat happy song, I can't stop smiling when I hear/watch it. "Time To Be Awesome" - awesome song with a great beat sung by best pony and a bunch of pirates, what's not to like? All solid suggestions.

Here's a song I'm surprised no one has recommended Hearts Strong as Horses! I remember the fandom going CRAZY when this song came out all the way back in season 4! Such a good song! Another song I recommend is Babs Seed. This fun song will stay in your head for a while ^_^ but alot of people will kinda relate to it.

Since you mentioned marching, I would suggest My Little Pony "In Our Town" its a marching song, its message is a little dark though. Another suggestion is an AMV called "Children of the Night" its an MLP AMC, similar to "The Moon Rises" and "Lullaby for a Princess". You might like them!

Can I suggest watching “a changling can change”? It’s a beautiful and heart felt song that actually touches on the serious topic of standing up for people if they are being treated bad because of something they can’t control (in this example a changling named Thorax is being treated bad by the pony’s bc he’s a changling)

Fun story : this song is the exact moment I realized I had become a Brony ! At first I was like everyone else, "MLP ? Yeah right... I would recommend "Bab's Seed", since it's a music-video-style song in the actual show, whereas pretty much all the other songs are more like a spontaneous broadway musical number (in that everyone just starts singing out of the blue) But Bab's Seed is like a cartoon music video with very frequent scene changes without breaking up the song

Oh my gosh, this guy can read minds. I was literally listening to a playlist of mlp songs and when I hear winter wrap up, I was hoping he could react to it. Edit: After I finished watching this, I’ve gotta recommend “Out On My Own” MLP. I really like it because it’s quite a sad tune, but I’m interested to know what he would think of it. It’s not really one of the first songs that come into mind when you think about MLP songs but I think it’s really cool. It’s about Apple Bloom thinking her CMC (Cutie Mark Crusaders) friends don’t want to hang out with her after they all earned their cutie marks. Just thought of so many more good ones but “Rules of Rarity” I ABSOLUTELY LOVE!!

One of my all time favorite songs is Got the Music in You from the episode Filli Vanilli. I love it's emphasis on the bass notes and the total harmonization from the whole group. The only problem is that it's hard to find the one version without getting them all in the same video because it's sung throughout most of the episode.

Someone recommended “A Heart’s Warming Tail” episode, which I completely agree on. It’s a take on the classic “A Christmas Carol” story. The two songs that really struck out to me were “Say Goodbye to the Holidays” and “Luna’s Future”. The 2nd one is really short, but I remember being entranced by the music. P.S. Love your videos.

Another good MLP song is "My past is not today" a lovely story of a villain turning good and separating her evil past, trying to move forward. A song about healing and accepting the goodness inside. A display of power over negativity. I really think you'll like it!

And while watching this, one thinks "This is cute, yeah - nice song - sure" but then, right when they finish with the choreography, it all falls apart and suddenly noone knows what to do and they suck at their job :D That made the show so nice, especially in the beginning. It had cute moments and nice songs, but then stuff actually went wrong and it was humorous/adventurous. Made the episodes actually fun, rather than just cute.

This world of MLP, the seasons don’t change on their own, all the ponies work together to make the world turn. Even night and day must carefully be maintained by Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. I find this concept adorable, but also makes their relationship with nature so different than what I usually see.

I enjoy the efficacy of these songs. They add worldbuilding depth, they help show how out of depth or in their element a character is, they're all in character, but all characters also work together to produce a safe but still creative harmony most people can enjoy the sound of, but at the same time, it's not too boring and it keeps your attention on the episode. It speeds up the process of explaining everything and showcasing everyone's personalities, the parts they play, the issues Twilight is having, etc... it shows how much this is just tradition for ponyville because they're all so cheerful and relaxed singing it in sync and then there's Twilight kind of doing her own thing with her voice, clearly not quite fitting in and she's getting worried about all this because that's the kind of person she is and she's never done this before and doesn't know her place in all of this yet or how she can contribute.

One of the best songs from MLP (imo) is “your in my head like a catchy song” the pony that sings it is the pony Applejack’s mother. And it’s from an episode about AJ’s parents and how they got together. It’s really nice and sweet and it made me cry at some points. I highly recommend it.

Fun fact: This was the first song in MLP: FIM that was sung by characters other than Pinkie Pie. Previous songs were always jingles sung solely as Pinkie Pie solos.

This was only episode 11 of season one! This song right here is what made alot of people realize this show was going to be something huge! It was the very first time the main 6 sung together and it was amazing. Before this it was one pony songs, giggle at the ghostie, cupcakes, and evil enchantress. After winter wrap up the songs got progressively more inclusive

I can't begin to express how much I appreciate you continuing to do MLP songs. I remember the first song from MLP that you covered you you were not fully on board. But after listening you realized why we love it so much. So many people just look at ponies and go "ew that's for little baby girls" and it's just really not. The music is really well done (and for others the draw is the animation and story telling. For me it's everything XD). We love what makes our hearts happy.

My humble recommendation is Four Chords by Axis of Awesome. They explore how many of the most famous songs (such as don't stop believing) run the exact same 4 chords. All of it wrapped in a neat bow as a medley. Couple prove interesting to hear what other songs you recognize with that chord set (E, B, C#m, A, or I - V - vi - IV)

I dont mind you diving a lot on the chord progressions, it gives the song a whole new meaning and a behind-the-scene peak on the masterpiece that is Daniel Ingram. Im learning a lot about audio composing and i dont even play an instrument.

This song is very appropriate, since I live in Australia so we are in our last month of winter. Such a catchy song. Oh, yes, winter wrap up! When i first heard this song in my childhood, i was so excited, even it was my native language, not English And i have to say about "Heart's warming tail" and "crusaders of the lost mark", this is amazing music episodes (but the second one with really hard spoiler if you going to watch series)

I remember first hearing this and just thinking "Wow the musical kid gloves have been removed". This was stuck in my head basically forever and still stands out today. Cute and catchy.

OK throw away my last request cus this jam is underrated as heck on RU-vid. The music is called 别闹 (bienao) and its made by tia ray. This music just melts my soul away and the piano in the background (OMG) and it also adds this cool funky electronic sound to it. (And I will do this until I caught some peoples attention)

The thing with Winter Wrap Up is that... it is the first true full song in the MLP:FIM series. It also marks the time in the series that begins to bring people in.

I'm glad you enjoyed "Winter Wrap Up". When I first heard it, I thought it sounded a bit like Alan Menken material. There are other songs in MLP: FIM you should react to, like "The Smile Song" from season 2.

Stop the Bats - Gives off Danny Elfman and Phantom of the Opera vibes. I believe Daniel Ingram said Elfman was an inspiration for the song. Find a Pet Song - won an annual award for Best Song in a Children's Show I'm the Friend You Need - MLP's tango Time to Be Awesome - I feel like you'd really enjoy the instrumental/vocal combo I'm Just a Pony - sincere song that was apparently performed by a Broadway singer?

I recommend "You'll play your part" It is one of the best songs in My little Pony: Friendship is magic. It's so beautiful and has all four Princesses singing, SO beautiful

If I can be honest, watching the original version of this song (which this video changes some of to include later parts of the episode) was one of the main things that actually drew me into this series. Like, yeah, I started watching because I was curious why this show was getting the attention that it was...and then I stayed for the music (which, most of the time, would end up better than it had any right to be).

If you enjoy this, the composer for MLP:FIM is making major songs for a game in development called Billie Bust Up! It's a very cute 3D platformer, and one of the villain songs has been released a while back! I feel like you'd enjoy it! It's called I've Had Enough of You :)

I really really been enjoying the mlp music reactions!! It's silly that ppl often judge you for liking "kids show"- but honestly why should we stop enjoying mindless entertainment? Also the song's AWESOME! Thank you for being fair and giving this show's a chanse! ✨it's really fun to hear a professional's take on their musics :D As for recommendations- some ppl said this already- but The Smile Song is a classic, it's cute n wholesome :D

This tune is one that's forever stuck in my brain, just because it brings back happy memories. I had a genuinely happy moment when I heard this for the first time and occasionally I'll hum a couple bars when I'm feeling sad to remind myself of that moment. It's just so silly and upbeat and whimsical.

As someone whos a music lover and part of the MLP community it felt so nice to see your video and react so positively to the music and the community. it really made me feel proud and happy to be part of it. also trying to get into playing the guitar myself and seeing your explanation of the chords was both terrafying and amazing for too many reasons to name. What's funny is there's a brony parody of Winter Wrap Up called Winter's F***ed Up, where it's about winter here in the real world. It's a music video from a channel that has been discontinued, but looking up the title should still bring it up. It's pretty funny, since it's so literal and when compared to the original
