@legalise nature My parents are born in iran but moved to Italy, I live outside iran so I have no problems with being non-religious My parents are very liberal so they don't take islam so serious (no ramadan, very few prayers, no problem to have relations with non-muslims, nobody in our household wears a hijab...). You would be surprised how many iranians curse islam. I have almost no muslim friends (not that I don't want any but there aren't many muslims here).
