In the 2nd half of version 2.2 we are getting Boothill. He is a DPS scaling off break effect. But is he worth it pull? Here are 3 reasons why you should & should not pull for him!

Nothing ever can convince me not to pull for him. Getting E0S1 and then dumping my remaining pulls on his banner. I have Ruan Mei, HMC and Gallagher all built and waiting for him. I really hope I win the 50/50.

Other than e2 the rest of his eidolons aren’t that much of a dps increase so I suggest saving for the next unit you want. Good luck on your pulls tho

Praying to the lord heavens Sunday works like Boothill and applies Imaginary weakness to enemies on his skill and ult… that way my mono imaginary team is complete!

Tbh, he can break just fine for anything unless you use his talent b4 the battle starts for non physical weak enemies. U r trolling, if u don't run either HMC or Ruan Mei with him. I think one of them is enough to boost Boothill to clear any content. He can run with Luka and Sushang as sub DPS. Bronya is also a decent option. For sustain, it is niche to have abundance because it depends whether he can break fast enough to end his dual as both him and the target take bonus DMG from each other. It is either u one shot or vice versa. I can see how Fu Xuan just helps him out in this situation than Adventurine.

I have Ruan mei and everything needed for him at least for E0S0 but I don’t have a second limited sustain but I do clear all the content in the game fine and kinda easy. Boothill or Fu Xuan is where I’m torn right now

if u can clear everything fine then u don't need fuxuan, however I do see fuxuan being used more than boothill. So IMO, go for both, if you don't get both just wait for rerun

Boothill is probably broken character one sided with acheron. But it still defend on your team comp.... To be honest whenever i come across video about Boothill, he just need ruan mei to deal almost 1 mill dmg and can ezily 0cycle but still using atleast good harmony character like bronya or sparkle. I myself will pull for firefly eventhough she might require 2 break character.

It's up to your luck, if you're thinking of saving for firefly it's your choice. But I'd recommend Boothill since both of the characters you're thinking about are BF dps(s) So of course I'll choose the stronger and easier to build for you. Boothill is the best option, he's easy to build, very F2P, you don't even need to put a lightcone on him and any team will work with him unlike firefly. Since she's so weak as a distraction character which is surprising and she needs a specific team and can't do any dmg without HMC and Ruan Mei.

You can only get the answer to your question after you pull because it depends on your luck. That's all RNG in the system. And by the time you get the answer, you no longer need it. 😅 There are people who get it in 10 pulls and there are those who lose 50/50 and get it in 180th pull. 💀

Unless you're insanely lucky, I don't think you have enough for both. If you're doing estimations, assume you'll need 90 tickets to get a character. If you can't muster even that, assume you're not gonna be able to. Ultimately though, it comes down to luck, you could get them both with 2 10-pulls, or it might take you 180 each.

If you are patient, the best would be to wait till the 2.3 program since we would know Firefly’s true kit. Right now, she’s only in beta, so we don’t actually know if she will get some buff/nerf. 🤔 Destruction units are usually very strong and since she does also a weakness implant with her ult and that she hits multiple target compare to boothill, she might be better. The only issue about firefly is that she relies more on the imaginary Mc, but he’s free so it’s not really a big issue…

I'm a new player and the only 5 stars I have are Ratio, Gepard, Clara, and Robin. I started playing the game because of my obsession with Boothill so 😅 Idkwhat I'm trying to achieve but I will go for E0S1 because I'm in love with him and idc what build I'm gonna make for him... I must say tho.... most of my favorite characters are Physical dmg??? Him, Clara, Argenti and Robin are my favourite characters lol and I have no desire to pull other characters.... send help.

I disagree with your first point in why you shouldn’t pull him. Hes the easiest character to build, literally requiring two stats and one set. Break effect is pretty common on relics. He does allll his damage from break effect, to the point where crit stats aren’t even necessary. All you gotta do is give him speed boots and a break effect rope. He will be missing about 80% break effect from relic substats and if you have his light cone then it’s only 20% to have a pretty damn decent boothill. The relics like Talia and Thief give a lot of break effect. And sure Ruan Mei is strong with him but NOT needed.

Depends because if you want a single target DPS or a Blast DPS (3 Targets) more because I don't want to spoil anything but both BootHill and Firefly are BE scaling DPS and would want to be run on the HMC team so it's up 2 you.

Boothill is actually a deadly hunt. He might not really need ruan mei too much since we have gallaghet and HMC

characters like luka sushang hanya and bronya can make up for the break efficiency buff welt too is also a good choice ruan mei will turn him to a monster but he still has plenty options that would work

People be forgetting that RM is the single biggest buff for HMC she gives SB literally a 50% damage boost and the weakness extending that once was a off put is now a massive damage window for SB usually giving you 2/3 extra Attacks per Break.

Bronya is his best support actually. Don't listen to OP, he doesn't know what he's talking about. It's Bronya > RM > Pela > HMC, with HMC being very situational (img weakness).

Boothill, is going to need the harmony MC because the problem with break effect characters is that they can only break once per turn of an enemy, so the dmg is quite limited. HMC is going to be necessary because with super break he allows him to trigger break after break after break. the Optimal break team will possibly be Boothill, HMC, Ruan Mei, Gallagher ( any other sustain works but Gallagher just has good break ). Even doe the Video is pretty good there is one thing i would like to mention but its at everybodys own risk to watch since its a spoiler Another down side of Boothill is going to be that even farming now is going to be pointless since in 2.3 there is going to a new set released, busted for boothill and just better then any ohter current set. It makes him a pain in the ass to build

Actually he doesn't need HMC because he's strong enough to put him in random teams including Pela, Silver Wolf, etc... There are videos of Boothill without Ruan and HMC if you'd like to watch them. And farming now isn't pointless, because of course we're going to play Boothill in these 20 days before 2.3 so it's a limited option till the new set comes out. And farming any of the BF sets now is useful for other characters like Ruan, HMC and Gallagher. He's so easy to use and can work with any 2 piece set. Put random shit and he'll easily do 800k

He doesnt even need a LC to function let's alone HMC, 99% of his dmg is break damage, he deals it as naturely as he breath, i would say that FF needs HMC even more, she can't do break damage naturlly so 360% break is gonna be worthless cause all they do is give her crazy scaling on skill
