Going to Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center for the first time. After my experience this was easily one of the best experiences I've ever done in the city. If you're in NYC, you must do this.

best tourisy thing to do in NYC. The view is incredible and there are so many views/angles you can enjoy there. Unless most observation desk where they are only a part of the view open or wrapped around with wires. worth the high ticket price in my opinion.

I was there as a tourist last year (2019) I thought it was totally worth it. I went about 9am and it wasn’t too busy. Also there is a few things to see on the way up and some history to read and a video to watch. Totally worth the money if you are a tourist in New York.

One of my favourite places in New York. I always tell people to go there for sunset. It is imo a better place than the Empire State Building because you see the lights come alive.

YES Top of the Rock is my favorite observatory in NYC! So agree about when you’re on the top of the Empire State Building, you don’t get a view of the Empire State Building. I would totally come to a sunrise meetup there if you did one!

I went to NYC for the first time this year in early March literally before covid hit (my flight home they suspended the nba) and Top of the Rock was number one on my bucket list but the city was so action packed I didn't get to make it until my very last day there and I had to rush to JFK immediately after lol. So glad I went because who knows when ill get the chance to go back. Great video.

TOTR def has thee best views of NYC IMO ! Small correction, Rockefeller Center is 850 ft tall ! Views above 1k feet are at ESB, WTC or The Edge 🤓

Went to top of the rock last may and its really best place to go if you want to see nyc. Out of all of them, this is the one I will visit when I will visit nyc again. Freedom tower was meh. The view was alright, but it feels different when you are out and not closed inside the building.

Took my mom to NY a couple yrs ago and we had a blast. Top of the Rock is awesome, Even though it was 34° it was still an amazing view.

This was such a beautiful video. I looks sooo romantic up there especially at sunset and at night. It looked soooo beautiful with the orange ski’s and the clouds with the lightning in the back while all the ski scrapers are there, it’s soo magical. Thanks for the info. I didn't even know this was a thing, now I could see the Rockefalla tree for the first time and experience the top of the rock. Pretty sad to say I'm 44 an live in Brooklyn Ny for 16yrs and never experienced Ny cause of circumstances but, now with kids, I will take my 6 and 8yr old daughters to experience what I Couldn't.

If you get the day/night ticket (idk if they have it during covid) but if you time it right you can visit twice and experience it at different times of the day

I just visit EDGE and it was a DISASTER... they claim to be only at 25% capacity because of COVID, however, the number of people waiting in line to get out onto the terrace was around 500 in one confined space. I waited in line for 90 mins, so completely missed the sunset. I'm not even exaggerating.... I really hope Top of the Rock is taking better care of its visitors.
