BBQ Pork, Roast Duck, Soya Chicken, Boil white Chicken, Roast Pork, braised beef brisket... any 2 meats with dumplings and little veg on the side, on noodles or rice.... so good....

After watching your video, we went to the Hong Kong Noodle House and tried the tossed egg noodles with cha-siu and beef.. Loved it. Thank you for introducing this hole in a wall gem.

My Dad traveled a lot to HK in the 70s/80s. We grew up eating at that restaurant run by the original owners Nicholas and Cecelia. Glad to hear the reputation is still the same…great food at a great price. Thank you, I need to visit there soon,

Hong Kong Noodle House is on my Oahu Bucket List when I move back soon. Prices are outstanding. My BFF from Ewa Beach found a downtown area noodle house that gives a kamaina discounts you can use for four people, even hosted visitors. I will get the name. She is a real foodie too, lived years in Japan so noodle fussy...lol.

Noodles with soup on the side aka "Lo Mein". Next time we are in Honolulu we are gonna hit this up! Some good BBQ places sell lean and also 1/2 fat 1/2 lean which is juicier. I love tendon.

I bet the tart in the Macha (sp) Snickerdoodle is from cream of tarter and baking soda, important in snickerdoodle’s to give the flavor. Separates them from sugar cookies with cinnamon & sugar. Many shops will falsely sell sugar cookies with cinnamon & sugar as snickerdoodle’s (which they are not).

Aloha Amanda and Felix. I love chewy noodles especially chow fun and also udon. The food looked great. I was always told that if you eat or drink something hot like soup or a hot drink it’s a good way to bring your body temperature down in the summer from perspiring.

The noodles look great!! I retired in Okinawa Japan 3 years ago. The 1 thing I miss from California is the Chinese char shue. Char shue is actually one of my favorite foods, but it's impossible to find here in Okinawa. Anyways, thanks guys , thanks for another nice video!

You can order Hong Kong noodles instead of the local favorite cake noodle at most Chinese restaurants in Hawaii. I actually order mine fried! Minute chicken over crispy Hong Kong noodle is a banger!

I heard the comment Felix made about downtown parking. You probably already know about the parking at Alii Place, but if you haven’t it’s the only reasonable parking in downtown Honolulu. $0.75 per 30 min up to 2 hours and $3 after 5 pm or on the weekend. It’s just a couple of buildings from Beyond Pastry Studio on Alakea Street… if my memory serves me correct. By the way, great content!

I also heard the comment Felix made about having a refresher, because he already had coffee in the morning and wanted something without caffeine. Are the refreshers at Fortune Tea really caffeine free? I drink a lot of coffee and I have been looking for a non caffeine go to drink. that is as refreshing as an iced coffee. The refreshers at the big chains like Starbucks and Dunking Doughnuts all have green coffee extract. Although they have far less caffeine than coffee they are still not caffeine free.

Oh heck yeah! Chinese beef stew with lots of tendon. Even better Hong Kong style crispy noodle with the Chinese beef stew on it. I like it more than the cake noodle. Probably a good thing cause no mo' cake noodle on da mainland. Oh yeah, and throw on the black bean chili oil to make it even better! The desserts look really ono. Felix, you always look like you're having a food orgasm. You crack me up! Keep up the great work!
