Hey guys! Been a fairly recent follower! I want to thank you guys for your great recipes! That skillet pot pie is JUST like one my (Omni) mom used to make! Thanks for the vegan upgrade! Can’t wait to make it. But let’s be real - I’m gonna make that cheezeburger mac and donuts TODAY 😁 Thanks so much from one doxie mix fam to another! 🥰
My kiddo, being born vegan, never had meat or cheese to miss the taste of it so when we have offered him any meat or cheese subs he says it "tastes like compost". LOLS! He loves his veg, chicky peas and tofu! He does love nooch too. I think we would all enjoy the veggie pasta sauce, similar to something I used to do. I would add cooked orange lentils too, makes the sauce a bit starchier, but still yum. Thanks for sharing your recipes!
I’ve been making a vegan pot pie skillet for a while now. The Trader Joe’s chickenless seasoning kicks it up a notch. It’s one of my non-vegan fiancé’s favorites!
I would have numerous people come up to me at Fresh Choice or any buffet-type restaurant and ask how I got my kids to eat so well. I would look and my kids had plates full of lettuce topped with other veggies, beans and tofu. Even at quite young ages. Then I looked at the plates of other kids about their ages and they were full of Mac and cheese, ice cream, pudding and brownies/cakes/cookies. Not a single healthy item. I told them they chose what we ate at home because they loved it. At 4 my daughter had a salad larger than all the other adults in the room.
My all time favorite recipe from you guys is the vegan hamburger helper! I've honestly made it ten times since it came out on your instagram. I meal prep it for my boyfriend's work, bring a big pot of it to my family and friends but i especially love it when i want something comforting! Growing up, hamburger helper has always been what my mother made for me and my brother for dinner and I've always had a love for it. Also congratulations on 100k subs!!!!
Omg!!!! I love this!!!!! My baby is one years old and sometimes it’s a little overwhelming finding new foods! Do you have a toddler friendly video (meal vegan)
I'm cooking the cheeseburger dish rite now and the beyond burger meat gives off a funny colored tent that looks weird.... I'm new to all of this but I followed every step including the tomato sauce so hopefully the kids like it
What these videos don’t share is that the vegan cheese and butter adds a lot of unnecessary saturated fat. Try sautéing with water not oils which also add unnecessary calories.
I felt unsure if banza pasta would hold up well with the hamburger pasta but it came out INCREDIBLE! I used the banza elbow pasta and I can’t believe how delicious it was. :)
Great recipes! Where do you get all of your ideas. I will use all of these. I like to call myself "almost vegan" but my daughter is not even close. I think she would like these, though.
For anyone curious, I made the pot pie, it was delicious definitely recommend, however, I did let my potatoes cook longer than the recipe suggests because I know my cookware lol, and also, following the biscuit cooking directions off the package and in the recipe, mine still came out a little undone so just be careful, but all in all it was delicious and i would make this again! 😋
I just made this for dinner and I want to tell you it is so good. I did tweak the recipe just a little bit I add fire roasted diced tomatoes. This is fantastic
We don’t have any kids but sure love those recipes. I hope that biscuit brand doesn’t use any palm oil. As most vegans know, palm oil is devastating to habitats. 🤞🌱👍
I am surprised you use products that contain palm oil. I am curious why you consider it a vegan item with the awful price it pays on animals and the environment. I am not trying to argue but sincerely interested in your reasoning. Thanks
