Sounds better than i thought it was going to. I have a CVF catless DP, paired with OEM exhaust, with Y-pipe and muffler delete. It is way louder than urs, so friggen loud i'm embarrassed to drive the thing LoL. It doesn't sound good at all. All it is, is piping, with zero mufflers. I'm debating getting the MBRP street exhaust for the price, or Full race, street exhaust. I also want the Tomei single exit, for JDM status lmao. I used to have a built DC5, with a custom licence plate that said "JDMSTER" Be funny if i put it on my Mustang if i got Tomei Ti exhaust. Regardless i need to quite down my car, as it way to friggen obnoxious. Your car sounds great tho, keep up the good work #thumbsUP

Damn dude, this is perfect. Like you said, there's just no videos with this setup but this is the exact setup I've had planned for months. Put the mbrp race on like 3 months ago and just been slacking on buying the DP. I know how different the exhaust alone sounds in person versus video so I'm sure this sounds sick in person. I'm assuming it deepend the tone a fair amount from just the exhaust? Obviously probably picked up a good bit of volume too lmao
Just ordered this catback and I love those pops, do you need the dp for them or no (I live in cali so it’s gonna be hard for me to find a high flow cat)

Just got my mbrp race. Now I'm looking for the right downpipe, did you feel more hp gains? I hear some pops on the video which I liked lol. What about the turbo spooling?. Should be able to hear good right?. Also I don't want to change it back to stock for the emission test is there a way I can keep it on without failing the test?
+no way to pass the test without paying for it :/ with all my mods I dyno at 285 hp 335 torc. pops are awesome spooling is too but the smells and the smoke is not that's the down fall :/
just 2 question bro. your same as me that lives in cali what will you do when its time for emission? change it back to stock? and will check engine lights go off when you change the down pipe? so it needs to be retuned?
Mark Santos I have a Cobb turner it's on stage 3 it's for the down pipe and intercooler but all my mods where "promised"no check engine I don't have one so far it's been a couple of weeks. I don't know if it would be different with out the assessport
Chris Krewz did you tune it 1st before the install of the down pipe because i saw some in cj pony and am it said engine light will go off and need retune.
I don’t think you can if you take the cats off and the resonator it might sound bad but if you just do the mbrp race cat back the car sounds great it should be under $400 I think
BABBALOZA I think it sounds pretty darn good, for a little four banger, it does resemble the sound of a Honda somewhat, but it sounds a lot better than stock.
bigboy lopez That's because ecoboosts gave a 2.3 liter inline four cylinder engine along with the turbo. If I got an ecoboost I would not put any exhaust on it because I think it sounds crappy but that's just my opinion.
@@Gore_Jus Going to be honest I no cell phone mic is going to pick up what the sound really is like in person, you are going to get distortion, etc. It is something best heard in person over some of these videos.
