So I'm going to re-stripe or re-trim the entire boat, but this video will just show the test area that I did, and then installing new vinyl trim on the stern of the boat. Full reveal later this season. Enjoy!

- Length: 38’, LOA (with factory swim platform & anchor): 40’ 5”

Good colour combo. Like it. Those eraser wheels create a ton of heat. Gotta keep checking gelcoat as you go. Can discolour it pretty quick.

Yeah, was really careful not to stay in one spot too long. The rest of the boat I just went over the old trip stripes, they weren’t cracked like the stern was. 👍🏻

Morning Chad. Nothing about removing decals is fun or exciting, it basically sucks. I don't envy you at all. I did some on my boat this spring on the trailer using a heat gun and plastic razor blade. Hated every minute. The results were good though. Cheers!

At least I only had to do the stern. The rest of the boat I just went over the old stuff. Video of finishing it up will be out in a few weeks. Almost done with it. 👍🏻

Hey that DeWalt drill has a locking chuck. Tighten by hand as usual then turn the other way one click. Boom locked and you won't lose any bits. 👍🏼 Few people know this and it's not in any manuals but if you call the manufacturer they'll verify it's correct.

If your not done I can get you the best vinyl and adhesive remover . When I owned my sign shop I found that the eraser wheel would burn the gel coat . Let me know.

I used to work at a sign shop! 25 years ago…lol. I am nearly done with the stripes tho. Will finish next week. I decided to go over the original on the rest of the boat because it wasn’t nearly as bad as the stern stripes. Thanks tho Gordon!👍🏻👍🏻
