They weren't prepared. If there's a runback I hope they put in the work to make it more interesting. They have the talent, but you cannot walk into something like this and hope to wing it. Mad respect to these guys and I hope you all enjoyed the show!

I also notice that in addition to his improved execution and reads, he also has learned to show patience where patience is needed....he doesn't over commit.
@@dirtlamp3603 After watching this amazing man, it makes sense as to why Yipes is practicing with Cable. I haven't seen Cable at all in this set. I just don't understand why Yipes has not answered him yet. Usually anyone that calls him out or talks crap, he answers in spades!! What's the deal??
@@christpunchers soo not so much. Ken has beaten duc more often than not. Yipes keeps dodging ken like if the man is covid its self. Schmidt sadly doesmt play anymore.
I noticed several times the guys were trying to style on khaos with raw tags. Guys, considering how much he's whipping you he can afford to drop combos and style with raw tags. you cannot.

Chris Schmidt needs to play Khaos so we can stop focusing on yipes. Schmidt's msp is a thing of beauty too. Im not dissing yipes but he is prolly just gonna run forever.
Damn, this beatdown reminds me of the time when I lived in Memphis when mvc2 was widely played....when everyone posted on shoruyken. In Memphis, we had a spot where mvc2 players played, "Fun something" cant remember the name of the spot, but all of us locals were decent players, lots of mag/storm/sent/cable players, but we had caught a visit from TAZ. This is how "we" all looked against him. 😓
Watched this again after every hard knockdown Ken exposed their inability to defend the reverse tri jump tech. Everytime it allowed khaos to reset the field and give him the space he needed to move free..
Yeah this was insane. Nonstop dedication to the game shows. Matrix pushed hard, wigfall had a few unfortunate drops. This was a good wake up call to stay committed to the titles they love versus the flavor of the month fighters. It was entertaining but not as hype as the ST2 tournament where we met kusomundo and his e.honda hype.
@iz yo boy Pepsi No doubt about that, he seized this victory ruthlessly, a full display why we are still gathering to watch top level Marvel 2. 360 said it made him hungry so I'm sure the East, hell the world will continue to evolve their play and break the will of their opponents like we seen here. I'm still on awe of these optimized conversions and freestyle storm combos. I'm sure it's obvious but yipes v khaos is a must.
I don't know if its as much of a wake up call. KHAOS stays grinding this game and keeping his shit clean and sharp. I dunno the last time Matrix, J360 or the other guys have grinded out Marvel since BOTS2 in December 2018 or for that OG fighters event in Vegas months ago.
@@t4d0W Yeah, that's my point. His dedication to a game he loves shows, where as the others diluted their time on other games that have come and gone. I'm sure they had fun and made a profit on those games. But the wake up call is to stick to the game they obviously love. Doing so will keep them as sharp as khaos clearly is. Devotion is the name of the game. Edit: that's not to belabor your point though, as the numbers don't lie. I was expecting BOTS2 to keep them all crispy. I don't think they have the hardware to keep grinding. I hope they can I want more hype and blow ups.
Can't wait to see Khaos vs Yipes. Last time I remember Khaos calling Yipes out for the money match, Khaos wanted some weird mirror match, msp character lock. But on the real, just have a no stipulation straight up ft10 and it'll be a hype set.
Yipes won’t ever play Khaos. If there’s a tournament now, Yipes would probably not even enter, even if Khaos doesn’t play. If Khaos plays, Yipes won’t even show up. I think Yipes is genuinely scared. He apparently refuses to acknowledge the existence of Khaos. You notice that Yipes only plays in matches or commentates in matches that Wong or Sanford appears in. That’s kinda lame.
Its been said multiple times but Yipes vs Khaos needs to happen. It needs to be built up and played on a main stage at some major and not at someones house because it is too big for that.
Yipes says he's about this game (the game that even gave him his status!) and "growing the community" but continues to duck Khaos even after he BODIED all his brethren in the EC here and he won't even come to defend??? That tells you everything you need to know. Yipes knows full well Khaos will destroy him too. Prove me wrong.
Not necessarily. Yipes is the best msp player ever and judging by these matches wigfall's msp was the only team consistently threatening khaos. Sanford had to switch to msp just to get on the board. One things for sure we need this match more than ever now.

From the looks of it, Yipes may be the only true competition, if he uses MSP. You can see Josh was dropping a lot; he had chances. Khaos is so beastly man, I dont know...
It was only that 1 sided because Khaos only plays mvc2 everybody else plays it here and there. When Justin and Sandford practice that’s when the matches against Khaos are a lot closer or they win. You know a practiced Justin not losing to Khaos 10-4
@@sliding_by8607 I wasn't really commenting on his match against Justin, just the A-tier players in the video. Khaos was always good combo/mixup wise, but now his decision-making/pressure is up there as well. I dont think the Sanford match would've been much different with a labbed Sanford. My reasoning is because I saw some recent vids of him using MSS (after losing 10-0 to Khaos' MSS).
His response was the first victory in that Round Robin. He made the adjustments for that I commend him. They all gotta put their time back in marvel 2.
The whole team got bodied but, Josh 360 was the WORST!!!!! In his 4 attempts at beating, Khaos, he couldn't kill not one character. Josh was definitely the weakest link that day.
What this is, is a bunch of veterans who are rusty as hell against new blood that's hungry for a challenge who's still been playing the game these past years. Khaos is what I'd like to call above a god, ultra instinct if you want to power scale it lol
This is like watching someone training for 15 years to beat greatness after greatness has moved on for a decade. It's like watching Paul train to take on Tyson. If the greats had maintained their skill in Marvel, all of these players would have 10-0'd Khaos. Matrix was C or D tier back in the day and he was all that Khaos could handle.
