Duc should really consider subbing in Cyke instead of Captain. Cyke perfectly sets up the ahvb and gives Cable better defense against Khaos's rushdown.

Is there any particular reason why Spiral Commando Sentinel wouldn't work? If the goal is to protect Spiral and spam projectiles, I would think that CapCom's assist would be better.
+0rnami the goal is to have spiral generate a surplus of meter by forcing the opponent to bock the sword trap, then switch cable in with 5 bars. You can have commando instead of cable, but once you switch sent in, it's not critical that he have 5 bars, so putting a meter generator before your sent/capcom is wasteful. Better to have cable with max ammo.
+Danny22000 Hmm, I know that Sentinel can do amazing things with 5 meter too, but I see your point. I know that she has an infinite block string in the corner, so that's where I got confused.
It does work and Duc often uses that team but the problem is if it comes down to just Cable (you lose both Spiral and Sent) you're in a better position.
Listening to the commentators speaks volumes to as of why Marvel vs Capcom 2 is all but dead. They keep being pessimistic as hell about the current scene, seem very unenthusiastic and flat out not care about what's going on in the match, and all around don't want to be there. If the people commentating the game don't care about the game than who does?

marvel 1 & 3 no chip scheme, 3 has the BS X Factor though. 1 has more inf setups than 2, 2 has the unbalance issues with the roaster 5-6 characters owning everyone.. craziness, 1s roster is too small
It really pains me that these people have CapCom on their team and can't even bother to use him effectively by himself. He is pretty strong as a solo character and has ways to catch people off guard with his buddy calls.
He trash son....... lol. But yeah Duc could have played him better. He was hoping his assist would be enough to keep Khaos off him. Helped a little but not enough
