My $300k Porsche 911 Turbo S has a MAJOR problem 

I mean. You gotta understand, the richer you are, the less you should LOOK rich. Porsche really is the best of all the automakers at understanding this🤷‍♂️

I think the problem is that Porsche made the base cars look so good that they had nowhere else left to go with the Turbo. Which is great if your buying A base model but if your buying A turbo it would be underwhelming.

Completely agree with you. It should be a little bit more distinguishable from a base 911.

And this is why I have been in love with the 911 for it's understated looks since I was young from the base model to the Turbo S. I hope to one day have the privilege of owning one, base model or Turbo preferably. Everyone knows the difference between the base and the Turbo S that is into cars. When you drive the Turbo, you shouldn't need the validation of bystanders. The fact that you are able to obtain it and it is the ultimate pleasure to drive would be validation enough for me. That should be the case for any high end car. Get what you like, not what you think other people would like. Get that GT3!

Question 1 : assuming they let you look at the front prior to purchase …. Why did you buy it then ? Question 2 : why would it need to look any different ? Unless you expected the look to improve performance which of course it doesn’t .. you come across as humble … your run of the mill purple rinse granny will Definetly mistake you for a lowly Porsche customer ( she won’t accidentally twerk in front of you to attract your attention … granted !) but the afficionados will recognise it as a turbo Question 3 : are you aware that you can apply for a design job at the factory in stuttgard as the process is open to any individual , Porsche being an equal opportunity employer

You definitely did not consider this before buying 😂😂 ye sure. Go buy some random Ferrari model instead, it will suit you way more. Porsches are built for those who love Porsche and these people can easily see the difference between all 911 models.

PTS will make it a little better. Trade in for the new gt3rs when it comes out.

man - just enjoy the car! my compliments on your ability to buy it, but i think you are raining on your own parade. With all due respect, you knew all this beforehand... - you can use it everyday and compete with anyone, anywhere. Either love it for what it is or just sell it.

“I love, it’s understated”, you got average silver, and you bought it. Not all about the looks. Reliability - the DBS will be in the shop more than you drive it. The Turbo S will blow away the DBS too. Nothing like someone bitching about a Turbo S a $300k that he bought. click bait video

You’d probably be happier all-around if it was a beautiful high-gloss red or black, not unlike Ferrari or Corvette - silver is more of a “tool” color.

Keep in mind that this is the 992.1 version so the 992.2 version definitely gonna look cooler and obviously drive better

Huge mistake to sell the gt3 for buying the turbo s but it looks like no car will be perfect for you since you already had a lambo and a mclaren maybe you get your rush from the excitement of the anticipation of getting the new toy as many car enthusiasts get. Another thing the color many times makes the car especially in a porsche 911 turbo that isn’t as exotic as mclarens ferraris and lambos. If your turbo was in python green or shark blue or signal yellow you’d enjoy looking at it much more. Any way no big deal just sell it

I’ve had a ton of cars, and a ton of exotics, and presently own a chalk/chalk 2022 Turbo S cab. I have never had a car that there was something or some things that I didn’t like. If you got that DBS, you would have been reminded about all the things that you liked about driving the Porsche better. Trade that car in for a DBS and see what happens.

Agree ~ 99% of the people on the street can only tell this is a 911 convertible…. U didn’t ask for kinda show off car, but at least this should have little more personality. More stylish than base model 911.
