Massive respect for opening the trunk when you knew you had a full case of otter pops and roller blades back there lol. Takes a real man to be ok showing that off to the world.
Just found your channel, I watched this video first then your one from 4 days ago just now. Life is simply unfair and this should’ve been as bad as your month was gonna get. I’m so sorry for your loss. You’re so very genuine and happy and I hope you can keep your spirits high knowing your mom was so proud of you. Heaven gained an angel🙏🏼🙏🏼
There are some great take-aways with this. First and foremost, hats off to you Stefan for handling this with dignity and maturity. It says a ton about your character. You owned up to it where most people wouldn’t. Sure, the outcome wasn’t ideal, but you owned it. Secondly, hat-tip to this level-headed Trooper. He was cordial and professional and didn’t come unglued and take this personal as we have seen so many do. Both of your demeanors played into this situation, and this should be a lesson to all. Respect is a two-way road and I am certain when writing his report, your demeanor will be reflected upon. Best of luck on how this plays out in the end.
It’s just because he’s white, us black folk get interrogated and berated by every pig on the streets. You can respect em all you want, but they’re just a bunch of racists
I appreciate your sentiment Johnny, but this when down the wrong way. From the start when Stefan saw the red and blue he should have said " I'm done with you" and put the pedal to the floor. No one who pulled over ever got on the 6oclock news with a chopper following them. My man needs to get a reputation around those parts. That how you get yourself Netflix deal. Second, you know that the cop is taking those pops. You got to protect your pops like a newborn baby. You know the saying "Don't protect your pop, your character's gonna rot." Always protect your pop.
You and the Officer handle the situation like two grown men with respect for each other. Sucks that your ride got towed, Hope you get her back with no damages.
@Marcus Keeler He was was totally respectful. He wasn’t demeaning, trying to start an argument, not trying entrap him in erroneous shit, etc. Very respectful police interaction both ways.
I did this before and got impounded. Almost got my license suspended but I luckily knew the lady at the transportation cabinet who was making the decision. I literally was so blessed. Had to get a lawyer and everything. Good luck bro
Never watched you before till this and just the genuine respect for the cop doing his job and knowing you did mess up really makes me respect you off the bat. It sucks but we know the risks when we have our fun. I appreciate you for showing how we should respect our officers (that are being professional and nice like this guy) unlike some channels on this platform
I respect that Stefan did not lie and say he wasn’t going that fast he new the consequences but the lesson is if you lie it will always be worse and if Stefan lied he would probably be in jail so hats of to Stefan
This same thing happened to me late last year. I got pulled over going 123 in a 70 mph zone and I’m still waiting for my court date. Props to the officer for being so professional about the situation. In the state of Illinois this is classified as a misdemeanor so I had to get a lawyer 😭 definitely keep us updated!
Props for the polite respect with the officer who, as others have said...was just doin' his job. I've been the same with officers in the past and have had cops speak favourably on my behalf later in court which in one case resulted in a reduced charge and fine.
Pulled over years ago when the I15 was still 65 for doing about 110 on a Yamaha R6. It was around 1am, nobody on the road. Cop thanked me for wearing my helmet and not running, then wrote me up for 10 over. But he made it very clear that he could be taking me to jail instead. Learned an obvious lesson to save it for the track that day.
@@godlike7521 u said then again it’s a r6 u sounds stupid asf if you think u can’t outrun a cop in a r6 you obviously don’t ride and know nothing bud keep playing call of duty😂😂
I know in Virginia it’s automatic jail time for 100 mph. This has to be the most strict state in the country. All depends on which cop you get pulled by.
You gotta pay to play. This happens to everyone that puts the hammer down routinely. I run a radar & laser detector along with Waze....not bullet proof.....but it does help. Also, I try to be more conservative at night since I cannot see the possible police cars in the dark. BTW - all you Charger and Explorer drivers need to stay out of the left lane. Anyone that owns a White Explorer needs to get a wrap.
Happens to us all at some point. Utah is really cracking down on speeding. Keep up the content. I'm a new subscriber and am excited for your channel. Sorry bro.
Been there, done that. The cost isn't even the stressful part, it's watching your blood, sweat and tears on a truck with someone else in the driver's seat going some where it doesn't know and all alone. 😔
@@koolaidman4461 Depends on the circumstances. Going 105 is bad, but not as bad as swerving in and out of traffic in a 55 with your lights off for example
I’m sure there were some jews who were nice to the Nazis “just doing their job” This guys 4th amendment rights got destroyed without due process of law. It’s insane the things we tolerate as normal now.
This is what worries me the most and even with a radar you just never know. This is the first video I’ve seen on your channel and now it’s time to subscribe to see what other stuff is going in here.
Had the same thing happen to me last month, got clocked at 126 after slowing down from a pull. The officer was super friendly and I ended up being able to drive my car home, the ticket was massive but the best thing that could’ve happened. Running with a plate is very stupid and is not worth the consequences
Wait till your insurance goes to 3x what it was for the next 5 years.. I have several vehicles but it went from $2400 a year to $4200 a year.. for 108 in a 65mph zone..
Actually an example how to not handle the situation... Step 1 call lawyer. Step 2 don't talk to the cop and only give him the legal information required. Don't answer the questions and don't be a witness to yourself.
@@scoobisam2008 I don't watch tik tok, but if I get pulled over doing 120 I'm calling a lawyer. This guy has his car towed, maybe a lawyer would have been able to prevent that.
That cop majorly f**k you over. He nailed you with reckless driving and excessive speeding. Reckless is a criminal record. You definitely need a good lawyer.
@@R0B__ Exactly what im thinking. All these clowns in the comment section saying "what a nice cop." Yea, BS. Reckless driving, exhibition of speed, and towed the vehicle of someone only doing 120 who was cooperating to the maximum extend? The cops a jealous A-hole, dont care about his words, i care about the actions he took that made it obvious.
Duuuuude! Sorry man! Total bummer! You got this, keep the chin up and keep doing your thing! James totally should have pulled up while the cops were there!
@@500hpPlusGarage You don't say anything. You admit to speeding, but that's it. Remain respectful. They don't impound your car in Utah for speeding, but they do for exhibition of speed. Telling the cop he was showboating could have directly resulted in his car being impounded. I'd love to see a perspective of where the officer was when Stefan did the pull. If he was on the side of the freeway and just clocked Stefan, he would have no probable reason to charge for exhibition of speed. If he was just on the other side of the car when Stefan took off, that's another story.
I mean he was clocked at 120 or whatever it was so he would have prob got towed regardless of his explanation unless he had a wife with him in labor or something like that.
Damn it man!! Can’t be mad, he’s doing his job. Maybe he didn’t have to impound but 20 over is good he didn’t take you to jail. But good on you keeping your cool too.
I think we will be seeing a lot more of this towing business due to the popularity of these channels and all the risks RU-vidrs are taking. There are a lot of young people imitating what they see on many channels.
I've had the same thing happened to me in my C5 back in the day. but it was 3 of us racing. He let the other 2 guys go with a warning. I ended up getting 6 points off my license for reckless driving and a $800 ticket he said he was doing me a favor because he had every right to have it tow.👌🏽💯💯.
I know exactly how it feels when your car gets impounded. And sorry about that my friend. I used to get cars impounded here in cali for not having a drivers license. But mine used to be on the towing place for the full 30 days so imagine the cost and not having a car for a full month!
Over here in South Africa you just give them kfc even if you were doing 200mph 😂and you good to go 😂they’ll even let you do a pull when you’re going away
James has taken the wrap off the Bug then… 😅 surprised he let you show this before revealing it himself. Pretty sure he’ll have something to say about it in his next video haha silly you for getting caught 😉
Excuse me sir I'd just like to thank you for being so nice. Also for the tickets and towing my car thanks your so cool...don't forget to cup the balls!
Stefan....in a time when cops are hated for absolutely no reason .........thank you for being respectful and not being a complete asshole and owning your mistake.....you are a REAL one...........much respect!!
I wouldn’t say no reason. Most cops don’t act based on constitution are moral right or wrong. They just enforce terrible laws made by tyrant bureaucrats.
@@ProteinFeen yes....law enforcement enforce the law...I know it's a difficult concept.... if you don't like the laws....change them....don't hate police because you don't like the laws
I dont know if you remember me from FNP Tuned but I was looking up corvette videos and this popped up and i realized we worked together with Alex and Luke at Fnp in 2016. I hate to see the Vette get impounded but glad to see you're doing good!
You got off really lucky. In some states like mine in Maryland, anything over 100 mph is automatic jail time. That cop was cool as hell, though. Very professional.
I was pulled over doing 106 in a 45 on a service road. This was 20 years ago in my Trans Am WS6. Upon reflection, I thought to myself, things could have gone badly if somebody pulled out onto the service road a just as I was going 1xx mph. Had to lawyer up for that one. Even since then, I've only been over a 100 on the Xbox and at the track. Your wallet will be a little lighter, wife will be mad. But things will be fine in the end.
@@bodipyles Have fun in jail. Well actually with that attitude I can tell you own nothing fast enough to run in anyway 🤣 People with the brains to accumulate enough money to afford a car this nice aren't stupid enough to run when they can afford the consequences. That's poor people attitude.
I was pulled over in my C6Zr1 in late 2015 for a highway pull on I10 in Houston. He wrote me at 93 and I was on my way. No tow no jail, etc and he wrote my citation lower than my clocked speed. I went to court and got it dismissed btw 👍. 3 years later I was next to a 392 in my heads cam manual G8 Gxp and when the light turned green we did a pull form zero to 70 o a 45. I didn’t see the cop in the Walmart parking lot who came behind me after I slowed down to speed limit. I ended up getting arrested for racing on a street, and car got towed ( 1 block from my house). It sucked beyond belief. Every cop is different.
I got clocked at 120 before on my Harley, I didn’t even realized he was behind me caught up to me few miles down. He was chill I was respectful and he gave me a ticket for 65mph. Fought the ticket and won 🤙🏽
When the officer said take anything out of the car you need, you should of hopped out and started taking the motor and trans out, i would love to see his face. 😂 😂 😂
