BETTER LATE THAN NEVER! Completely obsessed with my new DevaCurl cut and color! This DevaChan Salon in NYC experience was life changing! I was able to ask my stylist and colorist so many curly hair girl questions and learned so much from these ladies just by being in the curly environment. For curly girls: You don't actually HAVE to cut it curl by curl. Deva is just another haircutting method in the hairdressing world. Some use high tension with wet hair, or no tension with dry hair. Itll look good if you got someone who knows how curls work

Yesss !! I love this video !! I dyed my hair like yours not that long ago - and I'm thinking about getting a diva cut and pintura highlights . I have the same orange brassy tone in my hair , as well as it being super frizzy - so hopefully I can get my hair like yours ! How much did this all cost?

Just Josie omgosh this will change everything!! They'll tech u techniques on how to tame ur frizz and get rid of ur brassy tones for sure! It's def an investment! I had a senior stylist so it was about 200 for color correction and 125 for cut! Well worth the $$! Please let me know how it went! I hope u enjoy it as much as I did

Finally someone who lives in the city. I'm literally going thru the same thing. We have very similar hair. My hair is grown out blonde except Im a tad blonder and I'd like it to be lighter. Do you mind if I ask what they charged you for everything?

JuicyRussianMartini yea def! I recommend one of the senior stylist for your color.. especially if you're going lighter!! You don't want to disturb the health of ur curls!! And on the site depending on the experience level u want from the stylist is the price they are. So my hair because I was going for a color correction was about 200. And the cut 125! Pintura highlights are def more expensive than dying your head just one color! So it's def an expense but once you experience it.. it's well worth the money

The deva experience is like non other 🙌🏽 products are tricky to purchase because they’re so expensive that if you don’t like certain products, it’s a hefty expense. At the salon it’s nice cus they help you figure out which ones would work best for ur texture tho! 💕💕

Hair came out great! Cutting curl by curl isn't effective to me. I went to get a little trim because I had a lot of single strand knots and I still had a ton of them when I left. My ends just didn't look polished. Waste of $$$. I also went to an experienced stylist :/

ah man!!! yeah I'd say it's case by case! I've had my hair cut both ways and this way just felt like I had zero surprises lets say if it was cut straight! But we"re all in a learning experience! 🤗🤗

for trims.. minimum you need a trim once a year (depends on where you're at in your hair journey)! And if you choose to go lighter on your hair, I'd recommend definitely going to a color specialist!

Demi Moss $125! With my stylist.. but depending on the location and the stylist it ranges!! If you go on their website (act as if your scheduling an appointment) and type in a location, you'll see the prices for each stylist!!

I'm from NYC and I want a deva cut but there are no prices anywhere. How much was the cut alone?

Mine was $125! but it does depend on stylist and location (all new york salons vary)... on the website pretend your trying you book an appointment and there's a drop down for you to choose the stylist and you'll see their prices next to their name. Also keep in mind the days you choose also varies which stylist is available.
