@@aqueminiqueen7a hard water shower head filter, you can get them on Amazon. The shampoo is called "Fresh curls shampoo" from a company called Heavens Touch, the shampoo is naturally derived and fights against hard water

@@JaydaMonae1 hard water is faucet water that has too much metals in the water, it hasnt had the metals properly filtered out from the water. Certain states in America are known to have hard water

@@Simplylockd Same here. I used to use, Devacurl, but then I realized my hair wasn't acting the same. This was when I had virgin hair, mind you. I always made sure my ends were trimmed and all. Yet, my hair felt try and crusty, and my curls were always frizzed out. People would say, maybe its lack of moisture or protein. Yet no treatment would do the trick, and if I thought it did, the moment I used Devacurl, it was like whatever deep treatment I just did, just reversed. And I was back to the same shit, I was in denial. Like "No way its Devacurl, the number one curl friendly product that cost so much money because of its formulation." So I told myself, let me do a test. For two months, I cut out Devacurl. I tested how much I shed within each wash day, how my hair was looking and feeling when it came to health. Out of the shower, my curls were defined and juicy when dry same result when not using any of their products. I have a very high-density hair. So I shed a bit more than someone that doesn't have as much hair compacted together. But my shedding cut down so drastically to barely anything. I almost didn't want to finish going through with my test and thought I would just keep on not using Devacurl anymore. But I kept telling myself I can't let these products go to waste, they aren't cheap. So after the two months, I switched back, and it's like my hair freaked out. It was so dried out and tangled, that I just had to go back and wash everything back out and do a strong protein treatment. This is before anyone starting coming forward, this was back in 2016-2017. I threw every last product out, and my stylist at the time was a Devacurl specialist, and she couldn't even grasp what was wrong, considering when I went to her my hair was healthy silky-shiny curls, and once I switched to strictly Devacurl getting deva cuts, my hair changed not for the best. My hair felt like hay during the time I went to her. So when I cut out those products, I no longer saw reason to go to her anymore. Now I have colored-treated hair, that is healthy, strong and long. It just took me by surprise when I kept seeing videos popping up of other people stating why they've stopped using Devacurl, and these are the same people that were sponsored by them, and some that used to work for Devacurl. It's crazy. 🤷🏾‍♀️
