My 1st Trem Guitar Build… & it’s a Floyd

First Trem I'm fitting on a guitar build & I'm doing a Floyd Rose...
I like making my life complicated, and this seemed like a good way to do it.
Got it from Northwest Guitars (link below) with some locking tuners (left handed - I'm reversing the headstock) all in a nickel finish.
Electric components are from Six String Supplies (link below) and all CTS / Switchcraft.

Me too, I’ve set them up before & added trem-stoppers to a few. When the templates arrive I can make a working set & crack on. Thanks for watching 👍

Good Black Country lad, I've just sent im an inquiry for me bass. E doe live a million miles from us an seein these videos meks me feel like I've asked the right 'un. We'll see cos all is works on six stringers, if he meks a gud job o me bass I'll be sure to recommend.

The wilkinson gotoh stuff isn't the same as the wilkinson stuff bud, heard that before so looked into it but no, different thing. The gotoh 1996T is an awesome floyd, on par with the genuine. I'm a floyd fan and have both here. And that screw underneath holds the arm socket in, it's not for adjusting the tension. It'll be interesting to see how the floyd goes, my experience of cheaper ones isn't the best, it's usually the knife edges and posts are just to soft and don't hold up. If you buy templates be sure and read the instructions and take it in, not like me who read the instructions then measured wrong on my first! Lol

I’ve got a 1996T on another guitar & it’s the best trem I’ve used for tuning stability. I’ve had no issues with anything I’ve got from Northwest & the price is worth a go….but if it turns out to be junk I’ll let everyone know. I’m waiting for templates from Crimson, so I might get them before GGBO ends lol & yeh it’ll be measure, measure, check it, measure, check it again, second-guess myself, measure - why didn’t I use a fixed bridge - cut 🤷🏻‍♂️

@@WhitefootGuitars lol. If the trem turns out to be decent you can buy a genuine floyd push fit conversion for about £20. It's brilliant, feels more like the gotoh and has the tension screw like the gotoh too.
