Alright Scuba, I have watched a ton of your videos, Dan C, No BS beard reviews and have learned a lot about 2 years now. I was debating on Fresh Beards Black Light and wanted your input. How would you rate it now after the past year plus of using different products. Would FB Black light still meet your quota??!!
I'm 72 and have always kept my white beard super-short and close to my skin--a 2 on my beard trimmer, if that means anything. Since discovering your channel recently, I've started growing it out, because you're providing all the information and expertise I need to go forth confidently. My beard hair is extremely coarse, so I suspect it will take patience and attention to coax it into something worthwhile. It's barely two weeks since my last beard trim, but I can see that the added bulk has already changed my face shape for the better. Keep up the good work. Your content is great and so is your presentation and personal style.
I been living bearded for years and over the holidays decided to shave , now starting to live bearded again . Bearded is the way to go beard on brothers 👍🏼
Just got to the point where I need to use beard oil/butter every day, started making my own oil/butter after watching your videos, going to have to pickup one of those combs now. 😁 Your conent has been a life saver, would have probably shave off my beard weeks ago without it.
Awesome video scuba I think it comes down to preference because I used to co wash before now I only use a conditioner 2 times a week and that's if I'm using a stripping wash or pine tar other wise I just rinse or use a gentle beard wash and my beard feels amazing
I have the brio v1 and had it in my case for it. Placed it on top of my vehicle and forgot well driving down the interstate I notice something fly off the top of my vehicle at 80 mph and then realized it was by beard trimmer. Turned around to go get it the case had some road rash to it but the trimmers were perfectly fine. Love these trimmers
The Chicago combs are the best for sure and are my daily driver. Super durable, smooth and they just feel better. The tines glide through the hair and get through the beard with ease. I still have my Kent combs but I just reach for the Chicago ones 90% of the time.
Great video. Definitely good products. Im still waiting in the annual playing basketball video on IG. Lol. That’s a classic, and makes me laugh every time 🤣👊🏽🍻
artiusman midnight ride is 1 of my favs and winterschill, used ride due to one of ur old videos, live it,wife isnt as big on it but i enjoy, deff like the thicker oil on certain days, have a cpl of the Chicago combs as well deff a good purchase 😁
Great job Scuba, great to see you back. I love the Detroit Grooming conditioner. That’s a great scent and softens my beard nice. I’ve never tried Fresh Beards but will after seeing the whipped butter. Hope your doing great and thank you for all you do for this community 🤙
Great vid. Artius Man beard wash is awesome too. One bottle goes a long ways, as you only need a small amount to wash a big beard. The chicago co pet comb was a 4 buck game changer. I bought 6. Work, shower, both trucks, bathroom, an extra why not. Lol
Scuba introduced me to the Beardscape Trimmer, Bossman brand balm and Kent combs years ago and I'll never look back. Through his suggestions and videos I've found what works perfect for my facial hair type (big, bushy and dry). I owe 90% of my raw sex appeal to this channel.
ONCE AGAIN AMAZING!!! So MUCH better information then Dan C .............You ARE the "Most Trusted Channel" for EVERYTHING bearded. Thank you for caring for the bearded brotherhood and being upfront and honest and never deceiving us just to make a buck or gain notoriety. That is why you will have longevity and respect. You rock.
So, I have a short, close beard that I'm trying to cultivate so it looks neat and full, but still close. What should my beard routine be? I currently don't do too much right now.
You are missing oils and butters from Live Bearded. Tombstone, 1880, and Executive are some of the top scents out there. Give them a try, you will be happy you did!
Hey..thanks for the video and recommendations! Could you please share which beard products are best for fastest beard growth? And if those also improve one's beard lines, like make the beard lines higher? Thanks !
My man Scoobs, lot of familiar products here! Still love my Brios I got because of you. But I gotta ask everyone, does anyone else sometimes get Beard Fatigue? I sometimes feel like just shaving it down (not clean shaven, just an AL Borland beard). Been thinking about doing that a lot lately and I've had a big beard for about 6 years now.
Had a two yeard beard and it had damage. Took it down to like a 12 mm and it’s bounced back wonderfully. Took me a day to get used to it . But I felt the same way and don’t regret it.
I’m going thru the fatigue rn! I’m going on 3 years of keeping it at his length. I ride a motorcycle so there’s no hope for a “fresh” beard. Past few months been considering going to at least half the current length. Beard’s been leaving residue on my nba jerseys as well…
I just grew a beard for the 1st time ever... do you have a video for a newbie like me... I have no idea what I'm doing all I know is that I have a beard and I want to style it
Getting the artius man beard oil for my boyf and brother + their wash (as it has good reviews). Wish I could afford the detroit conditioner & freshbeard blacklight balm!!! Shipping is crazy expensive to Australia. Do you have any Aus brands you can recommend? Or hoping someone sees this comment. So some kind of sephora / mecca brand can help to make (good quality) beard products more accessible world wide.
there is a company called nics amazing man stuff I believe that a RU-vid swears "dan c bearded" I believe and said it's 15$ flat shipping for international hope that helps
@@supremetrain That does thanks!! P.S to ALL. I actually was NOT impressed by the 'Artissun Man' Conditioner. So random, the shampoo was all clean & then the conditioner was high alchohol content. The 2 people I bought for also didn't love the Restoration or Mountain Air smells. I spent so much on the gifts, it was a real shame. They still using, but sad they didn't love it. :/
Sir.. i have been fighting beard dandruff for soo long. tried less washing more washing, more oil, less oil, more butter and less butter.. nothing seems to "cure" it.. please help
I can't suggest Detroit, nothing but problems with them. Made a order and waited a few weeks with nothing. Tracking said it never was dropped off to be shipped. Detroit told me that it was stuck at the mail distribution center. They offered to ship a new order out through fedex. So I agreed. Got tracking and it was another usps number. Same thing happened with this one. After a week Detroit told me that they were actually sold out of what I had ordered almost a month before. Eventually getting a refund for products they never even sent out not once but twice. Such a headache to deal with.
I don’t notice much difference brand to brand. RU-vidrs exaggerate differences and promote a steady stream of new and different items not because they’re better, necessarily, but because they get cash on affiliate sales and they need new content all the time.
You’ll likely go noseblind quickly to scented oils as they’re applied beneath the nose. If you’re in this for the varying scents, turn back: Get yourself an unscented beard oil and then buy proper perfumes for the scent.
Artius Man sent me old and expired oil on two different occasions so I’m not a fan. They also do not allow you to provide negative reviews onto their website (which is why there are so many 5 star reviews). I thought I was going to love them but, yeah, heck no. Black Rebel Beard Co is a better company with consistent products. I know Black Rebel doesn’t allow for RU-vidrs to make a commission on their products as I know some of these other companies do so keep that in mind when you are making a purchase decision.
@@BeardTube oh you're upfront about it. It just means everything you say is colored. You're not finding and recommending great products. You're showcasing products you have financial insensitive to show. And that's the part you're not upfront about with your titles. These types of channels only work if you're sponsoring yourself through your own noncompetiting products.
@@DeCapitanOG Did you watch the video? I said numerous times that some of these products I had affiliate deals with. 3 out of the 5 I believe. I make zero money for promoting the other companies other than whatever google adsense pays me for views. I also tell people they could just google the products instead of using my links and giving me a commission
Cowash is such a stupid term because it is not washing, it’s just conditioning. Following Dan’s advice, I stopped conditioning & my beard has never been better.
