Please keep making videos on the 540i. Had a 2017 m240i xdrive and had to get rid of it. Now I’m looking to get into the 540i but there is barely any content on it. Most of the content is on the m340i’s
Agreed with you there needs to be more 540 content these cars are just as good as the 340s. Nice video man Is this a daily? I have a 17 540 also. With Black Friday sales coming up I have been looking at mhd or bm3 what made you pick mhd if you do not mind m asking? I want to pair it with the vrsf catted and stage 2 trans tune.
That video would be helpful as I feel like Mhd is more for my needs (adapter pairing with xhp flash). However the forums seem to just say can’t go wrong with either lol so 🤷♂️.
Mhd because im in a reddit community which had over 5 ppl motors blow up over the time span of 2 months, they all had bm3, its prolly not cause of the bm3 but just to be safe
So I'm new to BMW cars, but a friend convinced me to get a 2017 540i, and it's not the power like I'm used to. So for this car, I just get a tune and a fuel pump? And are the jb4 tunes any good, or what is the common go to. I just want to make around 450whp Thanks for any help you guys can provide!
If you want to make around 450whp, go for a tu pump or dorch stage 1. Run BM3 or MHD tune and E30 ethanol mix. A downpipe isn’t necessary but should take you to 460-70whp range

@@limitless.M5 you mentioned about upgrading your brakes using bigger rotors and calipers all while using a grey steel calipers in lieu of the blue or red style. (Ie plain wrapper
What I mentioned in the video is that there are grey brakes the same size as m sport blue calipers. The grey ones fit a 374mm front rotor. There is also the standard grey brakes that are 345mm front rotor

I’m just wondering with all the money you’ve invested so far, why didn’t you just get used M5? I think it’s about the same amount of money you invested so far but came everything already. Some even better.
