Congrats!!! Love the meaning of that last piece. It makes no sense to do the one thing for the rest of your life. Humans want to experiment and learn, that's how you decide what you love! So proud of you! ❤️
wait i love your portfolio! i just wanted to wish you congrats, i know you worked really hard soooooo YOU BE THAT PRETENTIOUS BISH OKAY???? YOU DESERVE IT HAHA
@@brettpaint AHH THANK YOU. I JUST FOUND OUT ✨TODAY✨THAT I GOT INTO AN ART PROGRAM AT MY COLLEGE😩 THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEOS THAT LITERALLY HELPED ME THRU THIS PROCESS!!
Bro no in home grown i really think the white is the best part. I came from the previous portfolio video and I’m so proud and inspired by your progress!! I’m also an art student at USC but the School of Visual Art and Design at university of South Carolina not California lol
I just found your channel from a Pintrest post and I'm glad I did. I enjoy the way you describe every piece you did, then deconstructed them by explaining what inside you made you come up with everything. I am sure you're doing amazing things in art school at your University USC. How cool to be in college learning art and spending your time doing what you love while at the same time exploring yourself to use in your pieces. I really hope things are going great for you, that you get to be the art student who walks across campus with your art with that smirk of entitlement. That's awesome! Keep up the great work! Your progress is clear from the rejected portfolio to the accepted one!
Hey baddie brett, I'm 25 and I want to pursue my dream of going to art school/being an artist but have no portfolio prepared since I've been out of school for so long. are you able to make a video sharing what sources you used that helped you re-do yours? or your work ethic? I really don't know where to start. 🥺
Any work you make is something that can go into a portfolio!! make what you love and practice your technical skill. google local art studios and many have classes you can take that will help you create some really impressive pieces.
Congrats, the development is clear from your last Portfolio vid. *Unasked for advice ahead*. From a Art Lecturers perspective I’m surprised you kept the Trump piece in from last time as I think this was the least secure piece with a concept that wasn’t really thought out.
Hello! All advice is appreciated here! USC wanted all artwork done within the past 1-2 years, and this was one of the few pieces I had within that timeframe. I thought I could use another piece, so I just put this in. Looking back, that definitely wasn't a great reason to include it LOL, and I totally agree that this wasn't a strong piece! Thanks for taking the time to look at my portfolios though! That means so much 💕
