Listen to this...I had Terre d'hermes on and I drove an hour to take my girlfriend's cousin to pick up a bike...we drove back got somthing to eat and I went home...hour later he rings me up saying the guy we just picked the bike up from had just rung him up to ask what I was wearing because his wife had come home and could still smell the Terre d'hermes in the air!! True story...best compliment I ever got from that fragrance 😂
@@dirkdiggler2234 you should try the EDP the scent last even longer.… I spray it all over my girls bed before I leave that way she can hug the pillow n pretend it’s me.
New to your channel. Thanks a lot for telling us guys what smells good to women. For over 20 years, I have always let women choose my cologne, and they have never been wrong. NEW SUBSCRIBER.
Ps. I recently got Rochas Moustache and wore it to work! And a lot of people liked it,especially woman! I like it a lot too! One woman said that it smelled fancy! So as of right now,Rochas Moustache is my pick to wear to my sons wedding!
For me maybe a top 10 list of hidden gem niche fragrances that we haven’t heard so much about but is also not hella expensive.. kind of expensive sure.. lol 😂 great vid Dem!
For me I always struggle buying niche if I can find a “clone” to save money. Many clones do it better these days imo and if they get 90% there at 20% the price it becomes hard to buy the originals.
@@sagew7377 get a Rasasi hawas. It's neither an actual clone. If it is regarded as a clone of anything as people claim like invictus or something , but in reality it smells way better than some of the best compliment getters in the world.
Yea I’ve been looking at Loubiprince / sultan . But for straight up sexy, Roja Parfum De LA Nuit 2 ….. no one talks about it, I have a 9ml , it’s so good
Demi - the timing of this video… I’ve stopped to macys the last 3 straight days to find a decent designer fragrance to wear regularly. And I’m totally drowning and overwhelmed. I’m glad you have a good variety here so I can trust you and narrow down the madness 😬 currently I have JPG Le Male Le Parfum on one arm and Hugo Boss Bottles EDP on the other 😂
@@BigiGuyyyy I ended up getting YSL Y EDP and YSL La Nuit De L’Homme. Y is just an easy reach casual fragrance for me to get me through summer. LNDL smells great on me and actually isn’t terrible in warmer weather. About Y, it’s gotten mixed reviews in the frag comm and compared to blue fragrances. To me, it has a fun versatility to it and isn’t too sweet on my skin. It’s unique to other blue frags and it generally smells higher quality than most of the others I sampled at the store.
@@JstnMoyer I recommend you look into a gourmand fragrance next! Obviously not telling you what to buy but you'd be impressed by how great they can be. Obviously for different seasons/occasions than Y or La Nuit de L'homme, but adds versatility to your arsenal. Maybe look into a TF Black Orchid, Tobacco Vanille, or a rare gem that isn't often found but a personal favorite: Vanilla Oud by Vertus. These are on the more expensive side but if you can get a decant and try them I think you'd like them.
Demi, to top off your career, I would give anything to see you in one of the top Dubai restaurants, dressed in a fashionable women’s tux, as … wait for it… a Sommelier. I can just hear your critique of a Pinot Noir you just recommended, and 10 minutes later following your examination, exhausted, I’m sold! 😊
@@demirawling Straliya! I don't know if you remember the original "La Nuit De L'Homme Yves Saint Laurent" It had a different fragrance (the perfume-printed bottle not the Eau Electrique bottle) The new "perfume-printed bottles" now have a green clear tinge to them, the original one was a dark clear. I still have the OG bottle (purchased around 2008)
As a guy I’m had the best experience with fragrances I’ve bought from watching your videos and I would love to see a 2022 best fall and winter fragrances for men

This is why it’s soooo important to smell a fragrance before buying! Terre D’Hermes smells so bad to me. Straight pine trees and the dry down begins to become something I can stand, but still not great. I realize scents are all very subjective, which solidifies the reasoning for smelling before buying.
Yeah I blind bought it based on this video and its definitely not my jam. Of course I really enjoy blue fragrances. It makes my eyes water and gives me a headache.
I have had Terre de Hermes for a long time now but barely went for the scent but now that it’s in the bubble where this scent shine I gonna have to pull this one out of closet and start putting it to good use now. Thanks and great review ❤.
Parfums are such a specific thing (skin composition, etc.). I'll say to anyone just find what fit you best, never force a parfums "that smell good" on you, because it might not be reflecting well on your person. Personally, I use Bulgary Soir. This parfum was just made for me.
You explained Terre D' Hermes perfectly. I at first thought I made a mistake buying it because I couldn't smell it myself that much but believe people turn their heads for the smell. It's so weird to explain
@@zeeshanbangash651EDT. The projection is around 8-9 hours. And the fragrance lasts on your clothes until you wash them. Overall, I would definitely recommend.
You have a picture of chanel allure homme extreme but never talked about it. I absolutely love this one. I have just about everything now. I collect like crazy
Amazing list and great descriptions!! I love designers, and I really appreciate that some of your favourites stays the same ❤️ Terre d'Hermes is a masterpiece, I agree 100 % - and very few scents are. Similar list for women's fragrances?
39-male just found the channel. Great stuff. Love the insight and thoughts. Just getting “back” into fragrances your videos have been very helpful. Thank you.
Hi Demi. After this video I bought 2 of your top 10 list perfume. Girls loved them and came to ask me what I wear. Now I have to buy rest of your top 10 list. After those courtesy it is worth of money. Thank you for these tips.
I Love how you put the image of the bottle up when ur talking about the them… helps us understand better. Most don’t put the image of the Cologne or name …
@@MoreHagyadman I prefer the EDP, or Parfum. It's warmer, softer and last longer(on my skin) than the EDT. The EDT is more aggressive, perhaps bolder. Is all a matter of preference.
Between you and one other reviewer I probably have 10 different lists! Seriously though I am starting with this List and at these prices I might actually start with 2 or 3 !!! 😁 . I Also have Gift lists for women !! Thank you so much !!!
Ótimo conteúdo, sou brasileiro e gosto de conhecer a relevância que os perfumes tem para cada pessoa que se dispõe a explicar sobre elas, é um mundo fantástico e interessante.
Hermes EDT , Chanel BDC, Montblanc Explorer, and Dior Homme Intense are to me the BEST DESIGNER fragrances on the market. I don’t really put Tom Ford in a designer category, but if I did the NOIR line , and OUD Wood are both powerhouses.
I own about 15 bottles including 2 Tom Fords and have female friends smell them. Not once has anyone picked Tom Ford as their favorite. I’ve asked like 40 friends. I have Blach Orchid and Noir Extreme.
Ok, now I’m intrigued bc I like barbershop fragrances as well, probably my favorite genre. Why not do a long form review of your favorites, particularly because you mentioned enjoying the modern versions. Not always easy finding the type that don’t smell dated.
Great list, there's a few I've already enjoyed wearing and some I'm definitely going to check out. And great to see Tom Ford Noir mentioned, love wearing that one. Noir extreme is certainly a great fragrance, but I've always felt the original Noir deserves more love.
G'damn.. what a treat to see this perfect human, comment on the most attractive scents in the world.. Im am obsessed with scents and I have learned so much. So thank you for the info.. There are deffently a couple of new ones I have to try out.. p.s Moustache is the perfect clone ❤
I am absolutely in love with Terre D'Hermes! I bought it for my partner but I end up using it every night after a shower. It's insane! DROOL! Love it! Great video, as always, Demi!
Nice to see Tom ford noir getting some awesome recognition.. I've always compared noir to something a classy vampire would wear.. he is older, has his own style and is confident.. my other go to is dark rebel rider.. for the person who wears a leather jacket and cuffed black jeans and going to a punk show
I would like to see a video, of exclusive parfums that not a lot of men have, they can be really expensive but still need to smell really good, because a lot of brands I tried, for example amouage did not smell good at all in my opinion.
Hi Demi, just started watching your RU-vid channel and I just got into fragrances recently!! I love your style and seem to have the same taste in Perfume scents as you do!! Big Herod fan!! Great content, looking forward to checking more great videos❤️👌
I was gifted a Maison Margiela Replica sample set as a birthday present a couple of years ago. Never been into perfumes before. I was simply seduced by Jazz Club. Opened up how amazing fragrances can be. To be honest I've become perfume obsessed. My latest acquisition is Tom Fords Tuscan Leather.
@Fragrancebombscentsombré leather opens with a very strong leather, but then it almost completely disappears in the dry down. It’s one of my favorite scents and is intoxicating! I tried Tuscan leather and while it’s a good scent, I prefer ombré leather as the dry down is much better. I wore OL on a date once and got four compliments throughout the date, it was great.
Kudos to Demi for mentioning the lavender In Dior Homme Intense. I never hear any reviewer talking about it although it is a significant note in DIH. they always talk about iris. which is a shame. seriously. some of them are such tools. recently one was spraying the fragrance into the cap in order to smell it. I did that too and broke the atomizer >>> bottle open and broken. it worked like glue because it was an atar.
Imo you have to try spicebomb on your skin, because it can be stronger than you think. Be careful in office/school environment. Once I sprayed it 6 times before whole day in car and regretted that.
I layer some of my best scents with Molecule... putting Molecule on then Sauvage Elixir makes people nuts, tons of compliments, typically i never wore the Elixor, just wasn't into it, but layered is awesome, also Aventus is always a slam dunk and lately i have been wearing Bond N9 Scent of Peace for Him and after its sits on your skin a bit its amazing. The Hermes is a old time fave too. Not a fan of the Prada's.
Assuming you're talking about molecule 01. Wear it on its own is sufficient enough. It's a bit of a secret for me as I don't want people to know about this frag, but I cant wear it without someone telling me I smell incredible. No joke. At the hospital, at work, at the grocery store etc,. I have people always asking me what I wear. Woman understand it's potency but most men sleep on molecule 01 and that's okay by me 😃
the best part of Moustache is (by far) the dry down after 75 minutes. which is a semi-sweet woodsy-vanilla scent. plus a subtle combo of rose/mandarine/pinkpepper sparkling in the backgound. the opening is also very nice: all of the notes at once in your face with dominating vanilla and PATCHOULY. distictive, inoffensive, and elegant.
@@nasigoreng1570 If you want to attract women and for dating: SWYI is better. Moustache is an elegant scent, better for guys 25+ years old. not so good for dating.
Prada Lhomme is my favorite designer fragrance so thank you for including it in your list. It means so much that it has Demi Rawling's stamp of approval :)
Those are all nice ones BUT every 2nd men have had one of those maybe even two or three. Men would you like to smell like every 3rd men in a restaurant or bar, club etc? There are so many alternatives to all of those with unique notes. Also guys I should buy what you like, not what other people like.
do a niche version! also, make a list of niche colognes that have similar vibes as BR540 extrait please! i looove how it's present without being such a "aggressive, loud" fragrance. got sooo many compliments with that.
Check out Red Squared by Bybozo. It's a good clone of BR540e at ~200 CAD for 75ml. The dry-down is quite frankly identical and lasts very nicely. Had both, if you can find it, strongly recommend you give it a sniff.
Listen to this.. review the most sold aftershaves from each country and rate the smell/performance and appeal etc from the look of the bottle and onwards too
Hi Demi! Always love your recommendations. I really enjoy specific occasion fragrance videos. Updated first date fragrances, Brunch fragrances, best fragrances for going out dancing, etc
You know that feeling you get when you just watched an awesome movie (and no this was by far not as long as a movie! focus people, the feeling!)? Loved it, Demi, great job !!!
Subjective noses aside, spice bomb is on everyone's list. Get it. The only problem? Most women have probably smelled it before on past ex's and or club experiences.
1. Guerlain Santal Royal 2. Bottega Veneta Pour Homme Extreme 3. Moustache Eau de Parfum Rochas 4. Noir Tom Ford 5. BLEU DE CHANEL 6.Prada L'Homme 7. Terre d'Hermes 8. La Nuit de l'Homme 9. Jazz Club 10. Armani Code Profumo 11. Dior Homme Intense 12. Spicebomb Extreme Viktor&Rolf Short cut to the list of perfumes mentioned in the video.
Dior Homme Intense is one of the best fragrances for men ever, it has it all, class, sexiness, refinement; it's the quintessence of a classy and elegant man, Terre D'Hermès is great as well but has a more playful touch to it, a man who is still a boy and doesn't want to grow up.
Hi Demi… I’ve worn Creed Adventist for many many years which is my favorite cologne, but last year my wife brought home a cologne that blew me away it’s called ARMANI/PRIVE CUIR AMETHYSTE .. Wow what a outstanding fragrance and I get just as many compliments on this cologne as when I wear Creed check it out 😊
I would love to see a review of what I see as a few of the best designer releases over the last few years. Bad Boy Le Parfum (most creative designer release), Givenchy Gentleman EDP Reserve Privée (best designer release of ‘21/‘22), and Tom Ford Ombré Leather Parfum (most refined designer release ‘21)
@@ruckusgames9725 It's quite an amazing fragrance. I feel like a lot of people never really gave it a chance. I personally don't care for the EDT, and I almost missed out on the parfum because I initially didn't even want to smell it at Macy's. But damn, it's addictive.
Terre d'Hermes edt was one of the first fragrances that totally blew me away. I had the usual mass appealing fragrances but Terre d'Hermes was the game changer. It's an absolute classic and is still so unique given that many newer designer releases now smell so similar.
Hi PJ - if you've got a Fenwick or John Lewis near you they both have a extentive range of Tom Ford fragrances and the ladies on the counter are very friendly and informative. They also like a good laugh - when you're testing, stop a few ladies and ask them what think of the fragrances on your skin, it's a scream - I do it all the time and have stopped traffic with a lot of women giving me their opinions about fragarances. I won't go into what happened on the Roja stand at Harrods - a great laugh with the ladies.
Do you like, Armani Aqua Di Gio,Issey Miyake, and Jean Paul Gautier ? Cause those are my classic favorites. I will also check some of these new ones out.
Blue de Chanel - Hermes - Versace - D&G - Bulgari and TF - i use all those fragrances daily espacially TOM Ford Noir- for me the best male fragrance on the market!!
For me, my top 10 would be something like this (not in order) 1. K by Dolce and Gabanna EDP 2. Dior Sauvage 3. XS by Paco Rabanne 4. Y by YSL EDP 5. Bottle Night by Hugo boss 6. Eau bleue by Chanel 7. Armani Code Profumo 8. Kouros - YSL (really underrated) 9. Dior homme - sport 10. La nuit de l'homme - YSL
100% right about Terre D’Hermes…I picked up a sample and put a little on the back of my hand and was unimpressed. Gave it a full wear yesterday and I’m ready to buy a bottle.
