Ive been watching youtube gurus since 2012 and ive honestly never seen anyone show actual hair and honestly i wanna say thank you cause people gotta know its natural
omgosh for some reason I got super emotional and teary eye when I saw the blood coming out .... ladies the pain ... I am literally dying just seeing it ... what harships we go through ...
Many guys still wax tho. I mean I get it but nobody is forcing you to shave I dont do it and nobody criticizes me dispite wearing pedal pushers all the time.
@@Kat-jv3gt hardships meaning it does do much pain for most women and its expensive too. a lot of us cant afford it but have to for society's standards so they will spend less on other (important) things, which is sad.
Tiffany-Rose17 same here. I got my armpits waxed and it was so painful because the hair became so ingrown and stubborn after shaving for so long. But once you get it waxed the hair is so much more thin and light compared to before.
Can we all just take a minute to appreciate how she has shown actual hair? Like people just pretend they dont have them. Anyway, love you loads you go girl!
I’m a really REALLY hairy girl so I’ve always struggled with hair removal since a young age. When she ripped off the wax and she started bleeding a little and she said how much it hurt it made me sad. Of course you don’t HAVE to remove your hair but it feels as though society forces women to be hairless and flawless. It’s so unrealistic.
I think people just get caught up with wanting to fit in with the rest of society that they never question why some of the trends even started. For example the current eyebrow makeup people use... I get made fun of for my eyebrows (as context my eyebrows are so blond it looks like I don't have any) but the whole eyebrow trend started when one model decided to embrace her natural dark full eyebrows while everyone else was still plucking and thinning theirs, you would think that what I'm doing follows that trend more(by embracing my natural eyebrows) rather than colouring them in and doing what everyone else is doing. I can understand that some people like the look and that's good too, I just can't accept when people tease others for doing things differently without thinking for themselves about WHY they are doing what they are.
Sara B you do what you want not what everyone else wants you to, if you like the hair you should keep it, but if you don't like it that sucks you have to go through more work that everyone else to look how you want
I don't think so. It feels so itchy having too much in armpits. It creates disgusting smells too. I clean my armpit and other areas (not skins like hands or legs) to feel fresh.
@@ummesalma1956 for me it's the opposite, shaving makes everything itchy because then all the little hairs are sharp again a hour after. Also if you shower and wear deodorant everyday it doesn't smell any different than normal, I'd be doing that even if I wasn't shaving so there's no extra smell for me.
I can last about 10 days, although I don't let it get as bushy at hers, cause it gets too itchy for me. I'll epilate as soon as I see a couple sprouting, and just do that as maintenance rather than big waxing every month
@@ad-zx4iv Oh... My bad for being ignorant. I'm South Asian and I'm kind of not hairy so I thought she or he shouldn't be generalizing.. I'm just gonna delete my comment so that no one will see it and attack me lol 😅
If anyone can’t find a natural deodorant that they like use the old spice deodorant in wolfthorn. It smells unisex and no aluminum! It works very well since it was made for “smelly men”
I live in Mexico too and mine doesn’t, I just checked the bottle just to double check. It’s a red tube. And I’ve bought this deodorant at least 10 times
you can prevent itchy under arms or bumpy under arms after shaving/waxing by using witch hazel. i suggest using witch hazel meant for your face and body. hope this helps
I use witch hazel for everything oh my god. Primer for the face? Spray some witch hazel. Make-up remover/toner? Witch hazel. Inflammation from a burn? Witch hazel (then aloe vera). After a wax? Witch hazel. I feel like the old man in the My Big Fat Greek Wedding and his obsession with Windex. I do the same with witch hazel. Hahahaha
I’ve checked out several online beauty bloggers and you are the only one that I feel I can actually follow. All of your tipps and tricks are so affordable and doable from a difficulty perspective. I really like how you explain things and make things super easy for us! Great job! I really enjoy your videos!
I’m returning to this video to say that this really worked! As someone who struggled with a dark underarm shadow and having hair grow back so quickly after shaving, this has been an absolute lifesaver! I combined everything she talked about in this video (and used the recommended products) along with consistent exfoliating and am so pleased with the results, would totally recommend!
Omg same! After watching this video I rlly just wanted to buy a wax warmer and all the other things used in this video, I waxed my armpits for the first time 2 years ago, and since then I never touched a razor, she’s a fkn lifesaver
After I watched this I bought all these products from Sally’s and works like a charm no more shaving armpits ❤️ I also went and switched to natural deodorant 👍
Alexandra, Ive been following you for years now and I just want to say that I admire you so much!! you’re such a role model for younger girls and even for older women.. I love how you are so REAL & Natural on all of your videos. I wish you and your little family the BEST!! please never change❤️
I love how you show us actual proof of before and after to see how it worked rather than just showing the results. I admire your confidence so much and thank you for always taking one for the team!
I don't wax my armpits because of the bleeding. So I shave. And next time I got it waxed I literally died of pain. It was like my heart jumped out of my body
Yes as they said sugar was works plus that's cause the roots are stronger the longer you leave it so if you do it regularly it will be great I reccomend getting a natural hair remover for 10 minutes then apply the wax and it works for me
I am SOOO thankful to have watched this video! I’ve never come across someone else that has the same ‘armpit issue’ as me. Even the second after I shave my armpits, it still looks like I need to shave! And I get the ingrown hairs which causes my armpits to always feel sensitive and uncomfortable..I’ve ALWAYS been SO insecure about it... I pray this works for me, I never even considered waxing because I thought my armpits would be too sensitive..but you’ve convinced me!!!!!!!!! I’ll keep you posted🤞💜
@@saikinist I shave and not only do the hairs I had grow back fast, I grow even more so than before. >_> I stopped doing that and my hairs barely grows now. I haven't waxed or shaved my legs for years already. Its a positive externality from switching to vegetarian based diet... less body hair. ^_^ Gotta suppress those androgen hormones.
I'm glad you mentioned cleansing deodorant before you go to bed. Dyou know how many "Night time routine" videos I've watched where people put deodorant on BEFORE they go to sleep?! Ridiculous lol. I only wear deodorant when I NEED to (aka at work, if I'm socialising for a long time etc), otherwise, just staying in the house all day or popping out to get groceries, I never wear it and that's why I think I don't smell! Also good diet etc x
I love the simple, clear formatting for your channel's videos...It's really refreshing to watch RU-vid without loud sounds and overwhelming graphics. Really nice work you're doing here.
Rosie Lou Have u seen him a lot on this channel? Do u recognize him from other channels? I think it’s kinda weird that a guy would be looking at this video 😒
I’m so glad you posted this and that I came across this video. My armpits are always dark every day even when I shave all the time. I finally worked up the courage to wax them and even though it hurt like hell it’s looks so much brighter and fresher. Your channel is a gift and it’s so cool having a cool kind of older sister giving her wisdom of tips and tricks.
SAME, I use an special deodorant. I use it once a month. I'm pretty sure that i'll have cancer someday lol but it's horrible for me to have waterfalls on my armpits even when i'm freezing :(
I’m not someone who usually comments on RU-vid videos but I just wanted to take a moment and thank you for creating the videos that you make and the content you put out! Literally binged like 10 of your videos in a row and lost track of time! Keep doing what you’re doing, I love your videos and think you are amazing and beautiful, thanks again!
I like that she is so real, that wax warmer is so old and has a lot of burnt wax underneath however she did not bother to buy a new one for the video, she is so realistic i love her
this is normal in the begining cause not all hair has the state in the haircycle. after 4-5 time of waxing you have pulled out all hair. and then it will take longer for them to grow out.
It also depends on what wax you're using. I used to use wax strips and had the same problem of it growing back really quickly, once I started using hot wax (which was much stronger and actually pulled it out from the root) I found I could easily go four weeks without needing to wax
I'm really hairy and I started waxing my entire body about a year ago - my pit hair is coarser and thicker than my leg hair LOL and even with how often I wax, my hair comes back within 1.5-2 weeks. It's just genetics and hair cycle; the longer you keep waxing, the less hair you'll start to see and it'll grow back slower
i tried doing it and the hair came back eventually....i think it's because i had very dark and thick and fast growing hair. like much much worse than this youtuber's. like i'm talking man pits
I love how pampering you are to yourself. I wish I had the time for that! I just shave real fast when I shower in the morning. Also totally taking your deodorant tips!!!!
when i started shaving my armpits looked so smooth and perfect with zero bumps and stubble. now when i shave i get black dots, bumps, ingrown hairs, dark spots!!! no point in shaving anymore, especially if it hurts afterwards! by the way, you are gorgeouss!!!
I switched to natural deodorant recently and it truly astonishes me the difference and overall appearance of my armpits now! Especially after a fresh wax. Lavanila is a fantastic brand of natural deodorant and I wish they were more widely available in stores!
When I saw that she started bleeding I was like hell no. I take anticoagulants so I bleed easily and my skin also breaks easy too (I have many paper cuts on my hands). Imagine putting deodorant even 24 hours later or sweating or even just the friction of the skin... that stings.
I don’t ever really watch beauty tutorials, but yours are honestly so well done I’ve just subscribed! Thanks for being so clear, concise, and down to earth! Your editing actually helps me see and understand what’s going on-you rock!
This is such a realistic video I have seen so far in RU-vid. But I am scare of waxing. I did it two or three times and ended with bleeding and left my armpits irritated which eventually led to darkening of skin.
Yeah, it's painful, but if you ask someone else to help you, it will be more easier and fast because the other person will rip it off more quickly than you, or at least that was my experience
You are the best showing us with your actual underarm hair !!! Seriously I have learn so much with you, u like the fact you do show the practice side of it is not just talking about how to log yourself up. Thank you for all the videos.
literally the most realist you tuber and person out there!! thank you so so much for showing us everything how it is in reality. You're literally like an older sister i never had, ive learnt so much from you thank you !!
You got BALLS girl .!!! Props to you for actually showing how to make yourself feel beautiful with things that are so natural to HUMANS. I think A LOT OF GIRLS forget how to love themselves. Thank you. God Bless.
Best deodorant and cheap that actually works is mixing body lotion ( preferably not really scented) but any lotion will do, add baking soda and create a paste looking! Best one ever that I tried and so afffordable.
I make a baking soda and coconut oil deodorant and have never had a problem. Just be sure to keep the ratio roughly 1:2 coconut oil/baking soda, don't use it right after shaving and you'll be all good!
Cannowli it ALSO turns people into rude irrelevant commenters on the internet who think they know what they are talking about, when they really don’t....oh wait....
I m just suffering from the same problems which you have..and i hv recently started watching your videos..and have given me so much information..thankyou so so much for your help..your all videos are absolutely relatable...
Ok, so I bought the same stuff you used. The first rip was terrible but after you get over the initial shock worked out so much better than I expected. I hope between waxing and the natural deodorant my underarms will look just as good. Thank you for the encouraging video.
Jada Abdol stop shaving and use milksult I don't know what u call it in your country but it really works after using it for a while use suger waxing to remove the armpit hair
I really love that you talk about how real our bodies are. Everyone grows hair. I also love the vibe and just how genuine you are about how to care or groom your body, but that you should rock what you have. ❤️
Even after waxing it grows back in less than a week !!! Whyyyyyyyyyyyyy. Please tell me I'm not the only one..does this have to do with hormonal imbalance??
It’s normal. If I wax, I have to do it again in a week, if I shave, it’s every 2 days. But my mom and sister, they can go a month without shaving and they all good. It’s different for everyone.
Please make videos about natural deodorants, your reviews, and deeper talks about natural deodorants. Esp for people lives in country that has summer all year long. Thanks! Love you
*sees the title* Me before watching this video: my arpit area is so dark and i'm tired of shaving i'm ganna wax just like her! Me After the video and watching all the pain: ;-; ... u know, i'll just stick with the shaving..
Also blood (dots) is actually a good thing because it means the whole hair shaft has been removed. It's really easy to rip underarm skin so if you have a friend handy, get them to help stretch your skin nice and taught. Also big tip to remember, NEVER rip UP, always rip PARALLEL to the skin and moisturise afterwards to avoid ingrown hairs ✌
I really really love you and your video I really have problems with loving myself and with your simple explained videos. I like to try out your routines like skin care or fugly to fab and I feel better if I take this time for myself and I feel more beautiful and I had a lot of problems with shaving my armpits because I have these dark dots like you said you do too. I'm defently going to try this out!
You're the 1st person I see on RU-vid who shows the underarm hair and very detailed steps. I GREATLY appreciate that. Keep up the good work! Hugs from LA! - A u r o r a ❤❤❤
I have a Philips rechargeable one (don't get one with regular batteries as they run out fast); comes with a loading station. A lot of these now can be used wet or dry. I have had this one for many years now, so I doubt they still make it. I am in Belgium BTW, so the choice may vary according to the country you're in. Braun also do good ones. I would get a plain shaver (here it's called a "ladyshave(r)"), and not an epilator.
I don't know if anybody said this, but baking soda is a really good option. I have SUPER sensitive skin, and soooo many deodorants make me break out or excessively sweat, the worst being Dove. Baking soda was the only thing that worked for me.
I really appreciate how you give little important tips in between. Like why we should essentially use deodorants without alluminium and to substitute baby powder with corn starch to save some pennies. Thank you!!!
I see a lot of comments on how people’s hair is growing back after one wax. You HAVE to make a schedule. And keep it up. I get a Brazilian every 4-6 weeks. When I first got waxed, by like the end of the week I had stubble. Now by the time 6 weeks roll around I’ve barely got any hair and basically just stubble. I stay smooth for so much longer. You have to keep a schedule up and do it religiously for the hair to grow less and less. Just a tip.
I LOVE your videos. It sounds crazy, but I actually get a TON of anxiety when people over explain things; one of the reasons I can’t listen to people tell me about the dream/nightmare they had the night before. Because of this, I typically either skip through videos, play the video at 2 times the speed, or both. Your videos are so clean cut, and your voice is natural and not forced or fake. You really help solve a lot of my daily problems and worries, which also takes away more anxiety. Thank you for using your valuable time to make these videos.
