I bought a GL450 and transferred the extended warranty from the prior owner for $50. Both front air struts went out and I paid zero. Over $3000 saved! Keep in mind you can typically only transfer the extended warranty one time.

Racing Gearbox $17000 , Differential driveshafts and racing propshaft $ 15000 , full Scorpion exhaust with titanium manifold 😆 $ 4000 , Racing hubs $ 2500 , Racing brakes upgrade + servo master cylinder and lines $ 10000 , Racing alloys with Z tyres $ 5000 , Suspension arms, droplinks and shocks $2500 , Full engine rebuild inc crank cams pistons valves and all elec ancilleries $20000 , Racing fuel pumps $2000, respray to sensible colour inc new panels €worth its weight in gold. Yes id say you got off lightly at $1500. At least you didn't buy the TFSI or total fucking sad idiot as its known in house.
