My favorite early jet ever. It was my second jet unlocked and shortly after getting it, i got a talisman for it (the Mig 15 was still top tier) and got most of the german air tree. I used to snipe B-29s with it, my longest shot was around 1.50km. Truly a fun plane to fly.
Thank you for mentioning the F7F and what it's actually like at 6.7. It could/should be 6.0, and so could the Hornet. The Battle Ratings in this game are getting completely out of hand. I'm presently working on spading the Spitfire Mk 22 before it becomes 6.7 and totally obsolete. Why would anyone use a Mk 22 at the same BR as the Mk 24 when both will have a harder time than a Zero, given they'll be fighting 7.0-7.3 jets all the time?
Haha, nice jokes. I cracked a smile on some of those. Also, it would be nice to see a Mig9 or Mig9L gameplay. I remember back in the day it was a beast, but it would be interesting to see if it's still viable in the hands of a capable pilot.

@@user-hh5pj5jv8p agree but it's a different plane and playstyle. With the ta152 h1 you can abuse your energy retention in dogfights (+ it turns pretty well) and in the tempest mkII you need to play like a jet, staying fast and nothing else

I don't know why, but as a noob who isn't good at this game, I thoroughly enjoy it when I kill planes that have clan tags in their name. Even more enjoyment when I wipe out an entire squad with the same clan tags. Even more brownie points if they're flying together with tail smoke on at the beginning of the match.
Hi DEFYN, I was wondering if you could make a video about the new player experience, specifically in reference to the AAA being balanced for jets completely destroying biplanes and other early slow flyers at 1.0-2.3? I feel like attention needs to be drawn to it.
I was wondering how comes this plane (and others with high calibre tank guns on them) don't have 'ammo racks' that can be hit in game and cause the plane to detonate, after all if you are flying in a plane loaded with 32x 50mm HE tank shells, and they get hit, the ammo should just detonate killing you. I guess it would be a shitty in game mechanic though.
That just got updated nd bombers can get killed by the explosion of their own bombload being hit. Its very annoying flying a bomber now. Doesn't happen for other planes though.
Can confirm the F7F-1 is not a very good plane atm, only thing it’s got going for it is a lot of guns but other than that it’s just a straight support fighter that’s heavier and larger than everything else you will face…
F7F vs Kikka - Kikka is good, but it has some serious problems getting guns on target - I often find myself energy trapping people at 800m and I can't complete a turn before they are diving away and dodging, and pulling lead in Kikka is extremely difficult, because while an energy monster, it has serious problems with snap turns. Of course the solution is - opening fire at longer range, but I'm not good enough to consistently land 800m shots with only 100 ammo available. Anyway, I know it's a skill issue. The flight characteristics of Kikka allow it to bait people and energy trap them at will, but the execution part is the tricky one, hence I recommend all "not-so-good" players like me to play in a duo, one energy traps, the other swoops in and gets the kill. Actually F7F + Kikka would be quite deadly.
I asked in the last video but not get an answer. So I put here again. Could you answer in detail performance of J7E against F5E not just who will "eventually" win a dogfight (J7E you said because of energy maintenance when turning) or who get an advantage at high altitude. How about aiming sensitivity/sheer turning ability at high/medium/low speed? I do not even know things like max speed/energy maintenance/energy production at different altitude of these 2. I am playing F5E but do not have J7E, which I encounter very rare so do not understand how to fight. Thanks!
ki84 ko is great and kinda undertiered, the OTSU somehow fine, HEI is heavier and too overtiered. Japanese rank4 aircraft tend to be way high in BR because they have 30mm cannons instead of 50 cals like the rest of US fighters.
How the hell do your matches last so long that you can get 4-5 kills? In my kikka, everyone on the enemy team usually just dies before I have a chance to get 2-3 kills or my team dies and I get overwhelmed by enemies. I see the same thing happening in most of my matches. I’ve only ever killed 5 planes twice after playing air rb for 4 years.

Defyn how's the j6k1? cuz from what little i experienced of it, it just seems to pull energy out of it's ass, or it doesn't lose energy when going past 700 cuz i just couldn't run away from it with a tempest mk2 (granted i was bobing and weaving)
I feel like it's untrue that there is nothing to take away from your deaths. Personally I've been trying to improve in WT ever since I started playing last year. And I've gotten really decent. But if I'm watching you play, then it still looks I'm pretty mediocre. But in reality I mainly die to those same retarded things like that AF camp. It's just a little more frequent and I will continue to work on it, but seeing your deaths is... Uplifting? I suppose? It shows me that I've made progress. And that you aren't perfect either. You're not invincible. It motivates me and reminds me that I'm not dog. lol.
Anything on the Squadron Me 262? around 150K to getting it and like to find out more about it. also planning on the getting the German M47 as well (when it goes on sale) to go with it as tried it with the rental in the WB shop and i like it to the point where even going for the US M47 as well
@@Xiphactinus yeah the hornet is very overpowered right now, they gave it 150 octane without raising its br and now it can outclimb any other plane it faces.
yo defyn aa is kinda bs in the way that it works. the shells dont have to hit u its just ticking damage as u get closer even dodging which could work IRL with props vs that kind of aa the way gaijin made it is for u to die even if u try to dodge.
@@Trigg3rHippie It's flak with fuse delays that're really accurate for some reason. Not a kill zone. That's why really fast jets could usually dodge it, and why you can hear explosions when you're strafing an airfield.

to play planes correctly you need +3000 hours on them, which is a burden for the gamemode, and that's why airplanes are losing ground. 99% of people just want a game to enjoy when they came from work/uni /etc, and tank mode require way less effort to plug and just play. Your playskill is way way up above average, and is amazing how you can predict others behaviour and the cap of enemy planes. i wish i had the free time to play like that.
dw, play air arcade, thank me later (esp. low BR soviets, like 2.0 using chaika and yak plus the reserve vehicles, everyone tries to outrun you when you are in yak, and outturn you when you're in biplanes)
@@mileshardin6906I play air arcade the most, and sometimes the Do 217 in RB because it's actually quite fun, I am certainly getting better with my aim but I'll never be as good as someone like DEFYN

Like how hard is it to just have the same tier fight the same tier? They already have that system in place so why have matchmaker based on a broken number system that they refuse to fix? They aren’t going to decompress despite how easy it would be compared to any other fix. Either add 14-15.0 and spread everything out, adding another BR (.3) with each new top tier vehicle. Instead they just cram everything in and have 1940-50 aircraft fighting 1960-70.
Sit on base when you the last plane+ scripted AA is the biggest bullshit ever. Happened every 3rd game. This and bazillion other problems made by gayjin make me left the game.
Skill doesnt really mean anything in WT anymore and i am not saying this because of this video. Br's are shit and teams are way to mixed...I play game just because of nostalgia and joy of flying i completely forget the kills
