I always tell new stackers that they should try to only have two regrets: "I wish I started sooner" and "I wish I had bought more." Avoid paying too much in premiums, avoid places that sell fakes, don't be tempted to sell if you don't need to, and don't screw people over. If you can do those, you'll do just fine as a stacker in the long term. 😊

I know right. We've seen crazy price movement in the past few months. I don't think we will see $20 silver again though. I think staying around $30 is more likely than spot dropping all the way down to $20

Don’t worry about when you started, be consistent and cost average. I’ve been buying it for 40 years and with that mindset I would regret not buying 1000 American eagles in 1986 when they were $10 each out the door. In 1989 I bought a 100 ounce bar for under $700. This month I have bought 10 RCM 10 oz bars and 100 eagles at Costco. I’m going to order another hundred as soon as I finish this comment. If you have 10 ounces of physical silver, you have more than 90% of the population of the world.

I started stacking silver was $14.33 x oz. in 2019. Now it is over $29.00. Yes starting sooner vs later adds up. How many think silver will go below 14.33 again in the next 15 - 20 years. 5 years stacking and now over 500 oz. Welcome to the top 1% of silver owners in the world. No not paper stocks/shares but metal in hand. Done on a fixed income.

That is very impressive sir. I don't think silver will ever hit $20 again. I think $25 is the absolute bottom. We are looking at taking over $30 now as the new long term average price. 500 oz is a hell of a number well done sir

You should try selling a coin and seeing how much you actually get in return. You'd lose money if you tried to sell. Silver is a long-term safeguard. The price will always rise. Anytime is a good time to buy as it will be higher in the future.

I just found your channel, you have a good style. I have stacked for several years, it adds up. I even stack some Gold, but not as much as the price has risen. I will still buy Gold, but not as much. Silver is my favorite, I like getting different designs that don't cost much more than spot, I will pay a little more for something that I like.

Thank you for the compliment! As far as gold goes I haven't purchased any. Once the ratio drops to 60 to 1 then I will take my buffaloes in and exchange them. But for now I'm sticking with silver as well. Thanks for watching!

I was actually watching this again, and you mentioned eventually becoming a "Big Stacker.". Being a "Big Stacker" is really a matter of perspective. Any stacking is better than not having anything. The whole concept of stacking should be focused on a long time of regular buying. Stacking 500 oz over five years is stacking. Buying 500 oz right now, is a different mentality. Just buying regularly makes someone a stacker, and "big" isn't important.

Don't forget, several weeks ago silver was over $32 an ounce. It quickly went from $28-29 to the $32 range. It has been bleeding slowly back to where it was. Silver can move quickly if there is pressure on the supply. And with the rampant inflation we will probably not see $25 silver again.

You're a pretty new stacker and came in when prices were rising rapidly. Starting sooner is every stackers regret, no matter how long they've been in. Young people should be looking a lot less at wealth protection than they should into wealth creation and growth. Create it now, protect it later. In general, stacking makes sense for middle and old agers; people with a lot more money to develop strategies for.

I completely agree. That's why I work so much and that's also part of the reason for this channel. This channel will become an extra source of income by this time next year. But in the meantime, I want my money that I have now to retain its value. I'm definitely not going 100% into silver. Real estate is my main focus.

I collect coins been doing this since 1974 The past 5 yrs or so i started stacking . I just dumped 100 oz of silver and traded it for gold and silver dollars. I still have a few hundred oz of silver.

Hi, congrats on your channel. I have a question on buying silver in the US, do you have to pay tax on silver if you demand physical delivery? I am asking because in the UK, if you buy silver from a dealer, the purchase attracts 20%VAT which is a disaster meaning one would have to wait until spot appreciates by 20% just to break even when selling at ALL dealers would offer spot or 1-2% above apot if one is lucky.

There is no VAT in the US, but some states do charge sales tax. More and more states are exempting gold and silver from sales tax collection.

The coin shops have what you call premiums on silver and the government backed silver even from other countries outside the u.s. have premiums on the silver & it can fluctua in price if silver os 30 spot the premiums can be as high as 6 to 8 bucks .

Im 42 luckily I loaded up when silver was $15-$20 an ounce. I dont know why but I grabbed more the past couple days despite it costing more but if it does hit $50 win win. I regret selling my gold when it hit 1500. Of course it mooned not long after that 2020. Live and learn haha.

The vast majority of people that own silver bullion in the United states owns less than 150 ounces. So I would say a big stacker is someone with more than 150 ounces. But this big or small talk doesn't actually matter. All that matters is that you have an effective way to preserve and grow your wealth.

Buy a little over time. Dollar cost averaging lets you accumulate more silver and some gold and protect your future.
