This is so sad as I always felt conscious about my body, was ALWAYS skinny and I absolutely hated it, fast forward I'm 47 and feel sexier than ever. It's crazy that we skinny people are also victims of body shaming, and In this case, I speak for myself. I'm just 21 years old but I get so many comments about my body...'you're too tiny' 'why don't you eat so that you can gain weight ' ,among so many other comments. Sometimes I feel like there's something wrong with me because in my head I'm like, why can't I be like my age mates and have the body they have, or why is it just too difficult for me to gain weight because I'm short and I literally have a body of someone who is in primary school. I haven't really had a good relationship with my body because of these reasons. There are times I love my body, and there are other times I hate it😩😭. It's been a whole journey and just this morning, the intrusive thoughts in my head were doing the most, it was like I was telling myself all the negative comments people say about my body, and it felt terrible. I had to do a lot of breathing and tell myself that I am beautiful and imperfectly perfect, and I just long for the day when other people's comments about my body and societal expectations of how a woman's body is supposed to look like won't bother me, and I will give myself and my body the love that I deserve. To all queens out there struggling to love their bodies, you're not alone. Remember that you are beautiful and you are imperfectly perfect ❤❤
