As a Canadian, this is the video I was waiting for! Hahaha. They are fantastic pipes! I only have 1 Brigham, but it’s an antique 159, one-dot, with a metal tenon. It smokes beautifully and I can’t wait to get some more! My local tobacconist sells many of them, and he has a lot of the Taundra line as well. Great video and thanks for sharing your collection with us :)
Love the video! Great collection too! I’m a recent “convert” to Brigham. I always passed on them for some reason but decided to give them a try a couple weeks ago and picked up a couple estates- a Mountaineer 336 and an Algonquin 236. I haven’t say, the could possibly be my best smokers! I love my Savinellis and prefer the balsa filter because I think I’m a bit sensitive to tongue bite and the filter helps. I find myself reaching for the Brighams more than my other pipes right now and the distillator definitely makes a difference. I was really impressed with how good of a smoke I got from my first bowl even though I forgot to install the distillator! Needless to say, I have ordered a few more Brighams…and the book! I’m a fan!
Hey Brad, love seeing your collection of Brigham pipes. Nice to hear a bit of history on each pipe in your collection. You should get with Everett(the Urban Hermit) who has a few Brighams in his collection. As to my collection I have 4 comoy's pipes one being a comoy's second and the oldest one dates back to 1921.. Love watching pipe smokers show off some of the prize pipes in their collection. For me the two pipes I'm on the hunt for is a sasseni 4 dot and my birth year Dunhill which is 1963. Enjoy your Brighams
Hi Brad! I like your new ending line. Good choice. That is a very nice collection of Brighams. It looks like your research paid off somewhat with your bag of funky pipes. After you made that video I received an unsmoked Polo pipe from Germany, which apparently is a Vauen seconds line. It had the same white looking stuff in the bowl! I think I will just give it a cotton ball and alcohol soak to treat the bowl and shank and sanitize the mouthpiece to see how that works.
Nice collection!!! I am really liking the Tundra models. Actually I like them all. My Brigham is the cheapest model and it smokes dryer than my Petersons even without the distalator. Just a nice smoker. They really seem to be an underrated brand. Really nice collection Brad !!
Really nice collection. I’m new to pipe smoking and almost purchased a Brigham bent Dublin a couple weeks back but decided not to because my other pipes are not filtered pipes. I may purchase a Brigham for my next pipe after watching your video.
Nice collection of Brigham's. I only have one Brigham, a Chinook 426 and I have my eye on a Tundra 26 For next month. I have to admit that I prefer smoking it without the distiller. Enjoy your pipes.
Love this video. I really like my Brigham bulldog. It’s the only Brigham I have but if I collected a brand that might be the brand I did. Great collection!
i just bought my first brigham pipe and found that the empty draw is pretty tight is that normal because of the maple rock system or i have a faulty one?
Like the Brigham I bought recently, but after my first smoke I tried to remove the distillator it appears to be stuck within the pipe stem. Any suggestions on how to remove it without damaging it or the pipe would be welcome. 5:32
Sorry for the delayed response. Have you tried to let the distillator dry out? I've had to use a pair of pliers on the distillator once. I ruined the distillator, but the stem was fine
That is frustrating. I had one do that. I took a drill bit (just slightly smaller than the hole the distillator goes in) and turned it by hand slowly until I felt it catch something. Gave it a firm twist and it removed a burr. That fixed it. OR, if you call or email Brigham, them may fix it for you.
