My Husband’s Carnivore Rib recipe (he’s been on carnivore for 8 months, down 50 lbs) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DHAIfcIOqvg.htmlsi=OUFlN0OFy3Lyobhj
@@SpaandTell I just started the carnivore diet with 14 to 16 hrs fasting I'm on day 5 I've lost 6.5 pounds and feel better already but I do cheat I have a homemade biscuit every other day with 1 egg 😂
I like your approach. You don’t overthink Carnivore. I’m the same. I still drink coffee and use spices on my food. Not acceptable by the carnivore “purist” but I’m in it for the long term and I need some exceptions to stay consistent which I feel is necessary. You can already see the result in your face. More youthful, clearer appearance. What a difference 👍🏽
The other day I boiled some ribs on medium low for about an hour (kept the broth) then put them in a 400 F oven for 45 minutes. They were so crispy and a nice variety on the usual meat.
Same here. There is no way I can give up spices. Additionally I occasionally have a TWO GOOD brand yogurt (3 net carbs) and sometimes some pistachios. I started back on my [mostly] carnivore plan 2 days ago and am already down 2 pounds. 👏 I also feel better and have less aches. I don't know why I derail myself.... I FEEL BETTER on [mostly] carnivore. Hmmm, maybe I should say I'm ketovore? Or dirty carnivore? 🤪 🤣
You go girl! Great video. I have been carnivore for 8 months. I love the ease and simplicity. I am ridiculously disciplined. I breezed through the holidays no problem and never broke my diet. I am older, 57 and I do have some health challenges. I’m just staying the course. Lost 36 lbs and 23” Hope you success in your future
Always curious how people deal with constipation which is what I get when I’m on carnivore regardless of how much fat I eat? But I’ve been constipated since a kid, without my veggies it’s just so much worse am I the only one?
@@lindapelle8738 have you tried Magnesium for the constipation? Also, keep in mind that on carnivore you won’t make as much stool. I “go” every 3-5 days. Your not taking in any indigestible fiber and your body is using most of the nutrients so you just won’t have as much in your body. Good luck
I’m right there with you. I’m day three on strict carnivore eggs bacon steaks/ground beefs. I’m trying to heal my psoriasis. Lose a little more weight as well as a secondary reason. Are you having issues with the following? Heart palpitations, tiredness/fatigue, diarrhea, electrolyte issues?
@lukesmith3283 Hey , I'm so much better after a few more days . Yes, too, fatigue major . It's getting better . Keep at it yourself. I have dermatitis that I want gone and loose weight I'm down 7lb already. honestly, my skin is less itchy and less red . You got this one day at a time, and then it becomes a habit. Good luck .
@@SpaandTell So I dreamt I was in the butchers picking the best ribeye ever and bought 2 , then we were all at a carnivore meet and someone killed Dr Berry I found him wrapped in clingfilm 😂😂 I’ve always had weird dreams 😂😂 so ribeye is my favourite 😂
You commented that you weren’t sure the pictures showed much of a difference- I noticed your complexion improved on your face in the video after one day! Also, as you progressed throughout the video your face muscles and overall skin tone seemed smoother and clearer. The photos of your body also showed remarkable differences/ changes in fat areas- particularly noticeable at the top of your thighs at the back just below your bathing suit. Thanks for sharing the foods you prepared. They looked yummy. I started 3 days ago and I have noticed big improvements in my skin quality- crepe is at least 50% improved on my arms, and large areas of dryness are now baby soft. Inflammation and pain are almost gone from my knees. The puffiness in my knees and ankles has disappeared. Climbing stairs with amazing ease compared to painful struggle on every step up. And I’ve melted off over 3 pounds of inflammation and fat! This is a very big deal for me as I’ve had decades of my life where I felt I had very little impact on my body. This nutritional strategy works! I’ve been watching Elizabeth Bright, Dr Solt, and Dr Pelz- all female docs with very significant and helpful information for women about carnivore diet. Here’s to your health and success!
Awesome Kim! I have been keto for 4 years, in September I decided to switch to carnivore. Best decision ever for my arthritis. Over Christmas I was not perfect but getting back in the swing. Thanks for the inspiration❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi Lisa, thanks for commenting about arthritis because I am going back on Carnivore for that same reason. How long have you been on the carnivore and what changes have you notice regarding your arthritis?
Is Carnivore diet bad for kidneys and plus too much saturated fat It seems like I would include very very little veg for minerals but I am just guessing
I was sold the tale that keto cured arthritis and every other ailment known to man. Not so I guess. Oh wait, carnivore diet cures arthritis and every other ailment known to man. Catch me next year.
Starting carnivore today and stumbled across this which is EXACTLY my story! Successful Keto in past, very bad girl last 6 mths, gained 10 lbs., feel crappy, not sleeping well, low stamina.... I want to do a prolonged fast but need to get fat adapted so what better way than to go Carnivore. I'll probably end up ketovore long term because I LOVE my salads. Your details are very helpful 'cause I have trouble keeping the rules (a little ADHD in my old age. Thank you! I'll be following your progress :)
“Very bad girl the last 6 months” 😂 Me too! I keep blaming Covid but it’s over-ish. Anyway, I will try the carnivore diet tomorrow. Sounds deelish. Love steak
I’ve seen so so many carnivore videos yet no one was this detailed. I am starting mine tomorrow. I just subbed! Looking forward to more videos. Thanks a lot for this insight and inspiration
No lie the before and after was really good your skin even looked so much brighter for some reason and you did look skinner I want to start this as well thank you for your videos
I've never been successful going FULL lion diet carnivore, and I was beating myself up about it. I wanted to be one of the cool kids ya know? I've now landed at heavy animal base with berries, greek yogurt, walnuts (usually once or twice a week) and spices. I'm also a sauce, spice girl and just need some sort of pa-pow to make eating fun and not a chore. Food is Love for me so I have to enjoy it or I self sabotage. I also have decaf coffee with HWC and one packet of monkfruit and butter every so often. I feel good and I don't fight this particular way of eating. Way to go on your week of success!!
For anyone considering the transition long term do realize that it is highly likely you will have an upset stomach for the first month but then it calms down eventually. This can range from 3-6 weeks for most people. It’s your stomach transitioning from carbs to fat/ketones for energy and it takes some time. This is usually why most people don’t last unless they have another medical reason driving’s this decision. I’ve been keto/carnivore now for 6 months. Down 32 lbs and feel fine. Just keeping it real for those interested. 1 week really tell’s nothing, imho. That’s merely water weight during the first week.
Watch the bacon. Most bacon has sugar. Sugar free bacon does exist and I've found it at Aldi's here in Oklahoma. I've been carnivore since 12/27/22. I feel fabulous and my weight is down from 177 to 163. My energy is through the roof! I'm beef, tallow, eggs with minimal butter/dairy and salt. I do still drink 1 cup of coffee a day. Be careful for hidden sugars in that redbullbut I totally understand needing a vice. Good luck with your journey. I'm loving mine. Also I cook my steaks in my airfryer. 400 degrees for 5 min per side. It contains the grease better and will reduce the amount of grease film in your kitchen.
Carnivore completely eliminated all MS symptoms and med free! Never felt better. It's been over 3 years for me... Losing over 50# was just a side effect!!
Same for me Taylor, been completely off meds for 2 years with MS. I do get a little bored with carnivore eating though. Probably more to do with trying to do inventive meals for the partner and me getting fatigued and quite happy just to pick! Also in the UK we don’t get the variety of cuts you do which is shame. Wonder if I’m the only one that’s always got grossed out by gristle in my mince!? 😖
I enjoyed your video. I live in mallorca Spain and have been keto for over a year. But I have done the same as you. I did 5 days carnivore beef butter bacon eggs and salt. I did have coffee and tea with a knob of butter. I felt amazing too. But like you I like a little brocoli, cauliflower, asparagus, and avocados. I also like a few pecans and Brasil nuts sometimes a fullfat greek yoghurt. I also inlude naybe 1 large strawberry or 4 raspberries if it fits in with my carb count. So now I am adapting my ketovore a little. It's fabulous, I am managing to stick with 22 carbs a day with all my meats and eggs too. It's incredible. This way I know I can maintain my lifestyle Good luck my love. Best wishes from Debra Hart
Wow I love your videos!! I’m new to this journey…just completed 1 week on carnivore and your video helps so much for me to keep going and also get info into ketovore, something that I can make my lifestyle. You’re so real and make it very attainable!! Thank you for these videos!!! Keep ‘em coming!
Thank you very much life has been crazy so I haven’t been able to make any new food videos. I have a ton of travel to edit right now but I hope this fall to make some meat videos
You are the best. Thank you so much for this information. I'm using Celtic sea salt and butter on beef only and water. I've dropped 10 pounds in 3 days.
Ive just started Carnivore the end weight 129 is what I would like to get to I have about 15 pounds to lose this video helps alot thank you - and yes I see a difference
Really enjoyed watching how you transitioned back to keto-lifestyle. Reduction in bloating was apparent as you filmed thru the days. Each day looked like more and more inflammation was reducing.. Well done. I love that for you. We appreciate you. Tx and God Bless. p.s. Jason looks terrific.
My rheumatologist told me if i needed pepper to use white pepper bcuz black pepper is what has the oxolates in it. She said white pepper tastes the same and lately has any oxalate in it. I didnt even know white pepper was a thing and im 53! Lol So glad i found your channel. Tysm
Thank you so much for doing this. You really encouraged me to take it on. I appreciate this video so much. I hope it all works for you and thank you for talking about your Intermittent fasting as well.
If anyone has a question if the working poor can afford a carnivore diet, watch this video. The answer is no. Five butter plus ghee is equal to a full tank of gas. That being said, this is an informative video. I'll just have to modify it to fit my budget
I truly truly hope you are not doing this just for the views but that you stay on it for at least 6 months. a year would be better. goodluck. thanks for spreading the word.
On carnivore a great "sauce" is simply to mix some heavy cream with raw egg yolk, quantity to be determined by taste, add salt to the mix and if you want/tolerate them you could add some spices Just remember that you might not feel any ill effect from eating them on the spot but have long term effect nonetheless. If despite your best efforts you still feel some inflammation issues like joint pain, headaches, reflux that sort of thing the first thing that has to go are the spices. If you have absolutely no issues then you're completely fine eating some well enjoy :) I also heard you talking about vegetable oil for cooking on a keto diet so just in case I would also advise to stay away from any kind of seed oil. Coconut oil is perfectly fine if you are not allergic to salicylates but seed oils are very very dangerous, they're in fact more dangerous than carbs, they're more inflammatory, they also can damage your cells because they're not stable when heated. When used by our body in the cell lining they'll degrade it over time as our body uses heat to make energy. You want to eat saturated fat , maybe a tiny amount of mono unsaturated RAW (never for cooking) but never poly unsaturated. So any animal fat is great, coconut is great, olive oil in small amounts if raw on a salad or the like but absolutely no seed oils ever for whatever reason.
Avocado oil is OK with high heat, olive oil is good as a dressing or you can cook with it if it’s not going to be really hot. I am amazed at the seed oils in ready made sauces, and the fact the spike my blood sugar, also they do always have some sugar as well, my favourite is chilli mayo, but low and behold it’s got rapseed oil, which is canola oil, and some sugar.🥲
Jason, good work! 👍😁 I'm just starting my journey, I have 1 complication. I'm hypoglycemic, and I'm also on a CPAP machine. My AHI is only 150.. My Air pressure is turned up some. I've been in the machine since September 2022. I don't have a problem going all meat, i worry about vitamins - specifically A&E. From what i gather, it's not s big deal. I kind of made myself sick, December 6th, 2023. I don't know what happened exactly, if it was the tap water in my CPAP machine, or severe dehydration. Whatever it was, knocked my butt out. I didn't have any sense of balance, nauseous, and generally didn't feel good. So, I'm drinking no less than 80 ounces of water daily, and I've kicked all the sweets out of my life. I'm down from 290, to 277. My goal is 180-200. I'm not focused on a number, but more so being healthy.
For those who may enjoy carnivore you don’t need to cut out veggies completely. You can do what’s called a meat-based diet where you eat mainly meat but get energy from other super foods like honey, avocado, ginger, pineapple etc.
@@SpaandTell yes I believe that when you’re doing carnivore you really need to cut the carbs down extremely low. But with a meat-based diet it’s different from carnivore and ketovore because it allows more sugar but in the forms of certain fruits such as pineapple, mango, Banana, apples etc.!
U don’t need energy from fruit Ur animal fats will super satiate u Butter, ghee, duck fat, schmaltz, tallow. Plus meat drippings-chill them without straining; oh wow so good. Hard cheese alm eggs also have lots of fat Avocados might work for some, olives also but no fruits or srsly-honey???
I’m going from Vegan to carnivore to compare the weight loss results 20 pounds 2 1/2 months vegan - I need to lose 18 more pounds will see how much I lose on carnivore
On keto, about half of my plate was vegetables. My stomach hurt so much. Now I'm doing somewhat carnivore to figure out how I feel my best. My stomach aches are pretty much gone now
For years I found that I could not tolerate veggies but just kept at it because everything I read or heard was that we need veggies! Well no more! With carnivore I have no more bad stomach issues! Yah!
Keep being you! Ignore the negative people. I enjoyed your video! I am doing carnivore too. Bought the air fryer, have made some of the meals and will try more because they are delicious! People just don’t realize how bad carbs really are.
You did good..👍 Oh yes definitely can see the difference.. I'm preparing myself for this type of eating as I believe preparation is the key along with believing in oneself and consistency.. Plus the way life is getting so expensive in Australia, carnivore might help the budget as well as the health.. Stay strong..💪🇦🇺
The Carbohydrate Addict's Diet was designed by husband and wife duo Dr. Rachael Heller and Dr. Richard Heller. They developed a planned that allowed for 2 zero carb meals and a third meal during which you ate your carb allotment for the day. the carb meal was eaten in a one hour window. So many ways to come at the limit on carbs.
@@gwens5093 I have church friends that did well on the Carb Addict Diet.... she lost like 30 pounds and her husband like 20. She still needed to lose another 20 or so but hit a plateau. I decided to try it, my husband along with me. I lost 4 pounds and he lost 6 pounds and then nothing. Maybe we weren't following it correctly, IDK. But what we realized from our trial was that following Carb Addict Diet is a great way to maintain (for us, since it wasn't successful as weight loss for either of us). 🤷♀️
hi i'm on day 4 of carnivore i noticed you have kerrygold butter i'm in ireland and must let you know kerrygold is a false butter for american irish population we have other salt here made by monks it has only salt and milk as ingredients it's called glenstal butter 👍
So the description for the ninja air fryer says it dehydrates also?! Just thought I’d let you know, since you’re in the market for a dehydrator. Great videos!
@@SpaandTell For a while, through all the mess of the last couple of years, I stopped doing all the things for beauty. Then one day, I started again, I searched and searched for you (to be honest, I couldn't exactly remember your channel name), putting every combination of what I could remember of your videos only to find that you weren't on YT anymore. Then I remembered that you were on a Doctors episode where you were tricked. I found the episode and somehow found your website. Then life got in the way again. I think that me doing all the combos of videos (probably a couple of months ago) made the algorithm put you in front of me now because when I saw the thumbnail I thought, "Is that? OMG! I think it is!" I clicked and there you were. So, through something crappy (that darned Doctors episode), came something good. P.S. I am literally starting day 3 of carnivore. 😂 I've watched two carnivore videos in the last week so I don't think I found you through those because I've watched about 30 competitive eating videos (don't judge me) in the same amount of time. If anything, I should have NEVER found you.
Love this video and your common sense approach to help you stay on course. Your son is a doll. Concerned only for your crockpot looks like it may be some type of nonstick lining that is coming off. I could be wrong on how I perceive the video shot but be careful with this stuff. If its flaking off consider getting rid of it and replace with a baked ceramic lined crockpot. Take care. Youre awesome
I think I’m eating too much now at twice a day. I’m hungry by lunch time but not hungry when I eat at night. The problem being seeing my family eat is hard not to when I do the cooking. I would really recommend you try carnivore for longer too truly feel the best benefits
Something funny about me. Ever since I realized that what we simply just cook, is already made, it feels weird to say something like "I made bacon" or "I made broccoli". Because all I am doing is cooking, it's already made. But, I don't feel odd saying I'll make shrimp scampi, because I am not just cooking the shrimp.
Thank you for making me feel better about clearing out my fridge and throwing it all away. Was feeling guilty but going carnivore tomorrow after 3 fasting days finishing today really makes it imperative that the homemade hedgehog biscuit slice is gone along with other sugar rubbish.
I have been vegan for 9 years. I'm type 2 diabetic and I don't seem to stop binging food and I can't reverse my diabetes. The only thing that stops me from carnivore is my animal ethics. But at the same time I wanna cure my diabetes and lose weight.
I’m on Day 4, and without electrolytes it would have been very tough. That said, I’m full all the time and don’t miss or crave sugar at all. I’ve also been feeling happier but we’ll see if that lasts once work begins again.
You should really make your 5 days into the next 50 years. So many people have had such life changing results on this diet. I'm a year in and will never go back.
I also did a lot of Keto before trying Carnivore but now that I've done both, for me, Carnivore is much better in a lot of ways. First, the weight loss was even faster and it seemed like I was in Ketosis much more often as my carb intake was significantly lower every day. I can't measure inflammation but that also seems better and my joints and ligaments feel better, less pain, and more flexibility. Cooking is easier than ever once you get down a lot of recipes that you like. I'm also not eating all of those "Keto Cheat Foods" which frankly, contain a lot of processed things in them including PUFA's. Once my target weight was within range, I'm cheating more on the weekend but still able to snap it back pretty quickly during the week. I should also point out that I do exercise and practice 16:8 intermittent fasting. Two meals per day, no snacks. You might think that you will get tired of eating meat all the time but it's amazing how, once you are adapted, you have no issues there. Trust me, when you're hungry, that steak smells and tastes awesome 100% of the time. I do mix it up a lot though with bacon, eggs, various pork meals, chicken, seafood, etc. Good luck in your journey!
late to the party, but hope you see this! You can ask your PCP for a lab test which will let you know where you are with inflammation. It is the Fasting Blood Insulin test. It is not the glucose blood test. The closer to 1-2 is ideal. The acceptable results are up to 10-15 which is ridiculous. I get one every 6 months, and I hover between 1.3 - 2.0 Also, there is a non-invasive scan for danger or risk of heart events related to inflammation in the arteries, the Cardiac Calcium Score Test. Calcium collects within areas of plaque and inflammation in the arteries of the heart. The score range is from Zero- I think 3,000 ? may be off on the high end. My PCP was wanting me to be on a statin because my overall Cholesterol was high (Keto), although my HDL was 110 and my triglycerides 49. I requested the CCST and it was a ZERO. He just noted on the results to do whatever you are doing. I am 69 yo.
I really like sauces too. I'm mostly Carnivore. My nails dont break& my hairs more soft less frizzy. I used to eat big bowls of kale& chard probably oxylate overload is leaving Love Brisket rib eye chicken wings bacon butter Yum Fatigue& pain comes& goes😊
I don't know why I keep watching those carnivore vidéo. I don't eat any meat and don't miss it at all, but I love to understand the relation with food other people have.
I don’t understand, you bought all that food and throwing away all the stuff out of your refrigerator for just one weeks of carnivore? That makes zero sense
I think that carnivore doesn’t really have to be as strict as your talking. Course since you’re using it as an elimination diet I guess it’s ok. I don’t think spices are bad. Nor are sauces bad, if modified. I love the tri tip meat in crockpot you made. I’ve not had that yet. There are some things that I want to try but haven’t bought because I don’t know how to cook it.
