I hope I gave you some ideas. You can also add ‘doors’ to the back door. For example if I added a couple of ply doors that swung over the lower half. Below the bed. It wouldn’t be the whole space then & you could open one side to get what you needed. Lest risk of one jumping out with you noticing. Congrats on the solar! It’s the most wonderful thing. I’m still in awe of my free electric, constantly. Noo keep at it. New ones are nice & all but there’s so much character to the old ones. I love seeing a super vintage one.

@myvanworld yes, you always fill me with ideas and inspiration. I got roped into working today so no van work done. I'm hoping tomorrow's weather is like today's so I can get cracking. Tomorrow I'm hoping to do the welding on my rear, nearside wheel arch welding so I can permanently situate the batteries and clean up the wiring. And sort the seating but we shall see... ive slowly thoughput the working week been attacking the van with spray paint just to give it a new lease of life. I love having free electricity. Not once this week have I had to resort to the petrol generator. Yay... today the solar charge controller has shown to have had the batteries full and which is lovely. Getting there bit by bit. Takes ages... I don't know what I was thinking that I'd have the entire van done in two weeks. Lmao 🤣 🤣 🤣 Eddie, my cat hasn't seen the van yet. He is safe at my mums for now while I do the loud noisey sparking work. Once that's out of the way and I've also added one more solar panel he can move in... I have so many ideas 💡 things, projects I want to try in the van... other energy production methods, cooling ideas other than traditional air con... Thank you. I use them all the time now, was the right decision & I’m getting used to the wonky edges, they do add character. I did. Woke up at 5:15 & had to drive & park outside my parents house to get internet quick enough to stream it from my van 🤣 The season has been interesting so far, Sainz & Bearman had quality drives. I’m still trying to figure out if it’s going to be another max domination year… too early to tell. Always rooting for Lando’s first win & McLaren to improve. Always love to see Alonso work his magic (that penalty was a joke). Yuki is smashing Riccardo. Unexpected. Poor Alpine. What about you? Who do you support?

@myvanworld Alonso is my preferred driver would be great to see him get some good results before he retires. Sainz definitely has points to prove and he is doing a great job so far. Landos win will come so enough . I just hoping that the driver shake up at the end of season proves to be entertaining and gives us fans a few surprises especially if Vettel comes out of retirement. Haha like mouse trap the game! I haven’t shared what I do. I set up a local service biz while I was building the van so that keeps me going now I’m out in it. Might share one day. But for now I’m keeping it private (I already have a waiting list - I don’t need the publicity 😆).
