My CD, SACD, HI-RES, DAC and DVD-Audio Player 

Kenny, one of the things I appreciate about you and your channel is your appreciation for the music without regards for format. That Sony digital player you have was on my radar, but I opted for an Auralic Altair. I have a PS Audio SACD transport for spinning the digital. Did you ever do a video on the connections you use? Speaker cabling, XLR, etc? Thanks again Sir

I have an old Pioneer VSX-C301 surround amp with a Toshiba HD-XE1 for CD/DVD playback, Logitech squeezebox duet for streaming, Eltax Avantgarde surround speakers and two mini Teac active subwoofers, Belkin interconnects, audiophile grade ac power leads and a Monster home cinema power strip. My apartment is very small and i have neighbours so the setup works for me! 😀👍

I have a Cyrus CD6 and a Micromega MyAmp with onboard DAC.

Amazing gear! I love how thorough and informative your videos are. They're very relaxing to watch. Currently I rip my CDs onto my laptop in the highest quality available. I have the laptop plugged into my old Sony MHC-GX355 stereo unit I got as a gift for my 13th birthday, nearly 20 years ago now 😮 It's still pumping along (but the CD player in it stopped working 10 years ago!).

Good looking gear sir! My gear consists of the Yamaha CD-S1000 SACD, Audiolab 6000CDT transport, Denafrips Pontus II DAC, Toshiba SD 9200 HDCD. I also have a Teac tuner and a turntable. Thanks for the great videos. jason

Very nice collection of gear. I run my system using an old Mitsubishi DVD player as my CD player. Currently on the hunt to find something better to replace it with. I also use a Questyle CMA 400i DAC / AMP for my digital needs. It’s wonderful and I love it. For the rest of my digital music, I have a regular laptop and I plug that into my CMA 400i but I’m hoping to upgrade to a small desktop PC and just run ROON off of that for my needs.

I like your Sony ES SACD player (you’re whole system, really)! My main CD player is a Rotel CD 11 Tribute. I use the built in DAC, and it’s connected to a Rotel A11 Tribute integrated amp. My speakers are a pair of Bang and Olufsen (B&O) BeoLab 8000’s. They’re active speakers, connected to the preamp out of the Rotel. I’m not really into streaming, so I don’t have a dedicated streamer, but your Sony looks really nice!

That Luxman DAC looks delicious. And the Denon is a classic; the 5910 was very popular as well. No streaming or DACs for me yet; not into it, yet I do think about something that can RIP CDs and maybe do internet radio. I have a McIntosh MCD500 SACD player and 2 Pioneer Elite BD players: the 88FD goes direct to the TV and the 09FD goes through my stereo. Though older than the 88, the 09 has Wolfson DACs and they sound fuller with more bottom end to me, whereas the ESS Sabre in the 88 has a bit more detail (and will play DVD-A discs). I've been known to swap the two BD players around, depending on mood.

Really like your assortment of gear, although I'm unfamiliar with all of it lol. I bet it sounds fantastic. Peace.

can you compare the miles davis kind of blue album with other formats like you did with the others?
