Lemon Ste makes sense... :( when this came out, I was slightly disappointed that it wasn't MCR5 the one being released. A few months after, I finally understood why this was released first!

This is such a fucking underrated album, and honestly I think Surrender The Night is one of the best songs to finish an album with that I've ever heard

This sounds like Ray's current stuff... it's interesting to find their personal tastes within all the songs. They each have 4 different tastes, which is why I think MCR appealed to such a vast audience. Good song, better tabs.
The album represents my dream death, along with a few other songs. I like the CW storyline and I altered it a little and, BAM, my death. It also illustrates all my ideal living situations/ life I'm not sure if that's what u mean, but that's how I feel. This album and I have a connection, along with my senpai.
I don't care if they never did anything together again. I might not like it, but I'd be able to deal with it. I just want the idea of MCR to still exist. I just want the idea that this amazingly developed band that was together for 11 and a half years to just.... exist.
It really scares me that the next, newer generation won't know MCR and they'll just be forgotten, and really be dead. I really hope that's not how the older generations felt because it's horrible.
The guitar in the chorus is just so powerful, it complements gerard's vocal perfectly. It's their biggest shame for never performing any songs from this album live

@@sporkzzzno they scrapped this album. this was supposed to be the 4th album but since they felt it wasn't a distinct step forward after the black parade they didn't release it until they broke up.

That the split had to be their decision etc. I know it's out of context, because conventional weapons was written before danger days, but that's just how I like to think of it. I sort of feel like I proud mum, struggling to say goodbye but knowing deep down that it is for the best .
I didn't listen to all of conventional weapons when it first came out so that I could listen to the rest when I was feeling particularly shitty. safe to say it was worth the wait
ArcaneEmma even though i became a fan only about a year or so ago, I have done the same. I have saved some of the Conventional Weapons songs, as well as saving some of the MCRX bonus demos for later. Worth it.

As much as i wish mcr could get back together, they more than likely won't. gee and frank are both doing solo stuff now. theyre all near 40. gerard has bandit. they were together for 11 years, and that's longer than most bands. it would be a little ridiculous for them to get back together now

I already said I love all musics in CW and this is totally true, but STN is one of my favorites of all times. Is so so intense, I think is one of the most intenses musics of MCR. Seriously, I would kill to see a live version of this one. Of all CW, actually.
I don't know if anyone else feels this way but...Since My Chem...Well you know, it's like there is nothing to look forward to anymore :( I always looked forward to the new thing they was bringing out, I miss the mystery of them. I actually cry at every song by my chem because it's so sad that they're not together, I support everything they do and If then need to be apart then obviously it's for them, I'm glad that they didn't hate each other and ended the band with love, but if they come back, it will honestly be the best day of my life... so long and good night xx
I know people are saying they want mcr back together and im one of those people. I want them to come back and just make at least one more album called "The Last Goodbye" but thats just me...
When they released this song I didn't dare to listen to it, I was angry with the band, I couldn't listen to all the conventional weapons, when I finished leaving they announced their separation. This band has endless meanings for me. Today after 9 years I finally listen to this song and today is a night in which loneliness is winning over me and although I am no longer a girl or teenager like at that time this song has been like a time machine... at the same time the lyrics hurt so much and the phrase: " You surrender your heart, I surrender every dream." To openwork, because that's how it was. Because he gave his heart and I the dreams, but now he is gone, he left and I stayed here with those dreams delivered and his heart in my hands.
I genuinely love this album so much. Its kind of their "leftover songs" and i think its such an amazing album as you can kind of see bits that were taken from these songs and put into officially released songs
I don't ever recall him saying that, although he claimed the reason why they broke up was because Gerard himself felt he wouldn't be the father figure to Bandit that he wanted to be had he continued the band; Mikey was struggling with the substance abuse and needed rehab; Ray had had a son a couple weeks previous to the breakup and so he had his hands full with his family; and Frank also needed to focus on family, although the breakup seemed to hit him incredibly hard, if not harder than the others.
I'm sure once they get back on track and are perfectly happy, they will come back and be badasses. I mean, Gerard's a good father figure to Bandit while constantly touring throughout this year, so I'm sure he's figured it out. Mikey now has a fiancé and is one year sober, Frank is good and Ray's, Ray. I'm sure once Ray's son, Bandit, and Mikey goes a few more years being sober they will be good
in the contents it says pre order may death never stop you well mcr's death has stopped me and filled me with tears that i did not get into them sooner than i did , ive missed probably one of the most helpful bands socially and mentally and the best alternative rock band ever, never stop marching killjoys :'(

Lemon Ste but didn't they want this or the Black Parade (not quite sure which out of the two it was) to be their last album and danger days just sort of happened? I don't think they planned on making danger days. do correct me if I'm wrong
