Nothing about '"The adventures of the Young Indiana Jones" TV series or what it was called? I think it was amazing and a nice learning experience for teenagers (like meeting Pablo Piccasso during the spanish civil war). Now where streaming services decrease their archives for licensing reasons, all this treasures will soon be forgotten.
I’ve got the vhs boxset (and Phantom Train of Doom), the dvd set (uncut Temple of Doom from I think around 2003/4?), Crystal Skull dvd steelbook, the blu ray set with the fold out digibook packaging and the 4K set from a couple of years ago. The 4K’s are all flawless transfers of these films, but I wish I had the steelbooks with the poster art. Those first few VHS editions look gorgeous!
I was so lucky got all the laserdiscs for like 50p each once at a convention, got two copies of crystal skull on dvd I think one was from Poundland or something and got a dvd of dial of destiny… and because I’m not all there I like to always keep the call of the wild on dvd close because I always feel likes it’s almost a companion piece to Indy.
I don't know why but I have not re-watched Last Crusade since seeing it twice in the cinemas in 89. I really liked the opening bit with River Phoenix, but it's one I have not exhausted like the first two. Guess that is a good thing. At the time I wasn't buying the Sean Connery angle so much, but it will probably seem totally awesome now, since the last two....well, those were not so great. I owned Raiders in the Gold Collector's series case that was released for many Paramount titles. Think I got Temple of Doom of Vhs a few years later. Then I got the DVD boxset. Only one on blu I own is Temple of Doom (my fave). I remember the first VHS rental release on VHS and Beta had an advertisement for Coke or Pepsi I think that had an Indy theme and was directed by Richard Rush who did The Stunt Man and Color of Night. Never got to see it again.
Time to dial up The Dial of Destiny. The Daily Sport said... One of the best Indiana Jones films since Raiders of the Lost Ark. Naughty, but Nice said... Enjoy being wiped into submission with every stroke. Phoebe Waller-Bridge is Indianna. I'll be there tonight, VT. God knows where Franz has disappeared, too.
@VideoTasties Dial of Destiny needs a clear warning put on the front cover. PLEASE BE AWARE..THIS FILM WILL CAUSE DEEP DEPRESSION AND RE-BOOT SYNDROME DAY AND NIGHT SWEATS.

I wanted to throw away my VHS tapes last month and then found out that for some good movies there is still a collector market. Can now pay two month of grocery shopping from the sells already and be happy that they don't end up in a landfill. They don't deserve it.
