I'm ready to start expanding my cleaning business into the commercial cleaning industry. By becoming a subcontractor for local commercial cleaning companies - I will be able to reverse engineer their established processes to understand how to price commercial cleaning clients correctly, which businesses to target, and how to operate efficiently. At the same time, get paid and get a ton marketing content from the jobs to use for my own Google business profile/social media accounts.
I believe this is the best course of action for me to break into the commercial cleaning space considering I don't have a ton of experience in it yet. The experience I gain from this will help me win more contracts and understand the type of businesses I want to specialize in. Wish me luck!

Hey bro, how do you personally deal with nasty rude customers and cleaners messing up, like they are late sometimes, you have the customer calling you etc. A super headache this part of the business is. How many cleans does something go wrong, for example 25% of cleans have some sort of issue.

Hey man, definitely can be a headache. When dealing with customers - always stay professional. If they are too much to deal with, I’d weigh out the pros/cons of servicing them. It’s ok to let some clients go if it means less stress for you, you’ll 100% get more clients. For tardiness, give your clients and cleaners an “arrival window” of about 30 mins - let the client know the cleaner will arrive between 9-9:30am for example. Also set clear checklists of what the cleaner has to complete depending on the type of job. Start looking for more cleaners if the ones you have continue to mess up or are late. It’s a pain but there are people out there who will fit your expectations better. I’ve only had 2 complaints so far. I’d always offer to have the cleaner return to make up for it or partial refund if needed.

I’m still trying the figure out how to price lol. But what I did is call other local companies for quotes and just charged the average of that. You gotta start with your costs and then add profit on top basically

@@toastybrown What's the must have steps to start this remotly? I'm assuming Website, Local ads maybe, LLC, logo..What do you think

@@thatboi-q7k LLC, general liability insurance, business name/logo, Google business profile, Google LSA, 1-2 cleaners, website is optional at first but helps people trust you. I’d also recommend a CRM software to manage everything. I customized one for the cleaning business if you need and also do web design. But that is what you need at first and you’ll be good
